This is a very plot heavy with a large cast, and focuses on kingdom building & character growth (especially the MC). When I say focuses on kingdom building, you literally can use this as a template to see how one person can build their way up top.

Poor Rimuru, only wanting to be a salted fish, but can't cause the world won't leave him alone lmao. 

I honestly feel like this isn't a harem novel even with the series giving him moments with other girls, and him being (shallowly imoh) interested in them. 

This novel focuses on kingdom building at the start/middle, fighting/power up all throughout. Power system is very good. Adore the world building, and the cast is very diverse and memorable.
