1st Review-: Really liked it when I first read it. Some people may not like it since the relation between Mc and Ml may be considered in**st (if I remember correctly). But Mc just transmigrates into another body with full memory of his past life. So idk. Consider your comfort level. Though the story is PG-13. No action. Its HE.

2nd Review- Ok so I went I read it a little to rejog my foggy memory. Yes Mc and Ml are half-brothers. ML is future emperor. And the translators review says something about MC &ML having consorts & babies. I don't remember that part. Maybe it was mentioned in passing. Believe me I am all for monogamous relationships. So the polygamy mentioned by the translator must be negligible (since I don't remember being bothered by it). <<less

Initially starts out real strong. But something about the Mc and Ml bothered me. Can't name one thing. I didn't like their relationship. Mc's past or his sometimes too saintly behaviour. Or even his OPness. It's called gary stu or smth(?). And I usually like my MCs op. Sooooo. <<less

I gave up on it the first few times I tried reading it. After many years when I had a reader's block I gave it another chance. I liked it. Re read it 1 time. One reviewer says the relationship between FL and ML of this novel is what the relationship between FL and ML of another novel (The job of an Imperial Concubine) would be like if they met when the Ml was still a crown prince.
