OP characters are awesome if it is done in a reasonable way. after all, i read stories to get away from the everyday frustration of my own limitation!! it is good to see a fictional protagonist is able to apply basic human logic and solve problems, be cautious, have a sense of boundary and interact with others in an appropriate way!!! it also gives me a sense of comfort, thinking some of the writers do have a matured sense of affection (and love) while keeping self dignity and others have enough strength to keep focus on the foundation topic of their novels. the bonus is that stories' pace is just right, execution is quite well and characters have different voices!
