Novels I started to read, and really enjoyed, but never finished for one reason or another. Common reasons to leave a book unfinished:
suddenly got burnt out on the genre,
suddenly got burnt out on c-novels in general,
forgot I was reading it (I tend to pinball between two or three or four novels at a time and some get lost in the shuffle sometimes) and went so long without picking it up I'd have to reread the beginning again to figure out what's going on but it's too soon to reread it without being bored.
