This is a list of the best translated cultivation style novels I've found. Stories from genres like Wuxia/Xianxia/Xuahuan/LitRPG are all qualified as long as they have some sort of constant power progression that characters deal with throughout the story.

Overall Considerations:

For a story to be included they must have a great prose, excellent translation, superior worldbuilding, and three dimensional side characters.

Personal Considerations:

I personally abhor evil/edgy/"anti-hero" mcs and so those will not be featured on this list. It's very easy to be selfish, immoral and evil. It's much more difficult to be kind, just and principled when the going gets tough so I find stories with main characters who have a code and stand by it the most interesting. MCs don't need to be paragon's of justice, but when confronted with difficult choices they must display some semblance of empathy and kindness in their actions.

I also love discussions of philosophy and morality and find their inclusion in the context of wuxia and xanxia worlds to be extremely interesting.

I like romance. I dislike harems, but if I have to make a choice I prefer harems to no romance.

I have a personal preference to reading male main characters.
