Some negatives - poor translation of some chapters (not all though) and, for me, romance progressed too slowly.

I will say that of all the stories with clearly "rushed" endings, this author handled it the best of those I've read so far (unfortunately there's been a lot of them).  It didn't feel particularly rushed even though the last 15-20 chapters span several years.

While the false daughter was still worried about Wei Ruo’s return affecting her status, Wei Ruo had already silently amassed a small fortune.
While the false daughter was still trying to attract the attention of the male protagonist, Wei Ruo was already a wealthy businesswoman.
She had both the money and grain that she wanted, and opened one shop after another.
Later on, her brother became the Prime Minister, her father became the General, and the one sitting on the throne was her husband.

This story is about a rural woman growing step by step, expressing warmth, lightness, encountering th**ny paths and joyful achievements alike, where lovers eventually marry, and there is retribution for good and evil.

The website where I ready this has had some pretty poor quality translations lately, but other than the occasional error with names or gender pronouns (which were easier to overlook since I could still understand what it what was supposed to say) this one was pretty good.  Enjoyed the main story and the extras.  I'm not sure if I would call this a slow-burn romance, but more that the romance isn't really a factor until maybe 1/3 of the way into the novel.
