I believe reading serves different purpose for everyone yet there's so many people who are just biased against harem novels, making it hard to get good grasp on how the novel is from the mixed reviews.
So I make this list in hope that it can hopefully help someone find the novel he wants. The reviews may not be so good but hey at least they will be consistent, even if bad. Also, the order is by the novels I remember and I'll try to add only ones I remember but some I may not remember too clearly since it's been so long :P

Sooo...there's a "don't recommend" for almost every novel here
Epoch of twilight had a pretty good concept, it evolved into something complicated and uninteresting, the story got boring too...
God and devil world: was one of my absolute favorites, good world setting, good level system, the author however forgot about many (could be very awesome) things he set up in the begining and pretty much threw the level system away completely...the story also deviated in a bad direction, the other world arcs were too long, so much that earth story was almost forgotten
Red packet server - dropped it after MC went to the upper world (middle world?) Was decent be4 that...
