Terrible ML, mysogynistic, vulgar, lustful, made out to be smart but he's really dumb, hurts the FL countless times (emotional ab*se, physical ab*se, there's everything!)

Very sure I read this a longgggg time ago, and the ML was absolutely terrible. Really hypocritical (both ML and FL)

Male lead emotionally cheats on her after series of events where she secures wealth for their family, stabilizes political situations and saves their asses (which he usually repays by neglecting her safety and opinions because he prefers to listen to his 'friends').... more>>

And sadly- she takes him back after he pleads (not even that) for no divorce. [This occurs near the end, the kids are pretty grown]. <<less
