okay... this novel is tricky... half first reminds me a lot , like A LOT of Korean drama name MR QUEEN , hahahahaha, I like that drama so I like this novel too. last half is kinda blowing mind but luckily, good ending. The Emperor while I wanna hate him but i just cannot... he did what he have too, in his era. Imight do the same or maybe worse, for me He is good & wise enough for an Emperor.... more>>

Now for the Main character... I really wish there will be extra on why or how he can jump soul. I name it jump soul cause he is not rebirth nor back to the past, no... he just really 'jump' , move when he died and he himself did not know how or why (very funny indeed, dunno if Heaven just pity him or like in Qiye, the God of Death make a wrong mark at him and redeem them selves by moving his soul until he united with the emperor n have a Happy ending). He is one with tragic life but alas he got his redemption and finally able to be Happy and receive his own feeling for the emperor... which is funny cause he never ever had one before he become the Empress... we were shown here that love really grow when they were nurture with kindness and care and it must be repeatable n genuine...

Over all its a beautiful love story, slowly grow and slowly learn by both party... I like the way the author pull the plot here, nothing is in rush... altho i really itch to ask, why the jump soul ? why the empress... what happen to real Empress soul and real Teng Ying soul? Did they died by that time so Teng Yun easily replace them ? who swap them ? is this dark magic or ? aaaaaaa so many questionnnn so few answer.
