Hahaha , I have always held a special place in my heart for Rick Riordan's works , always seems to hit the right spots for me. From Percy Jackson , Carter , to Olympus series till his latest ,Magnus.
Been a huge fan since 2008.
A figure of speech, no hard feelings , because somehow Vahalla saga is quite similar to Magnus chase and the plot mechanics are very close.
"The Authors POV" a fun read , around 3.5 to 4 stars, to me it felt as if there was too much showing not much telling. Pacing was also a big problem with the work , the author wanted to tell us everything at once, an amature mistake most starting out authors make. The concept on the other hand was too similar towards Novels Extra , but still acceptable.
All in all , a fun pastime just not up to the par for the list.
P.s I truly , appreciate you taking the time to reply , and do recommend me more works , I'm always on the hunt for more.
@CamDaz yo , big ups for the replies and the recommends. [ Omnicent Reader Viewpoint ] is a great novel an 8 out of 10 ,but dropped it halfway and haven't been able to get back into the series.( will put it in the list after finishing, it some time later)
[Kidnapped Dragons] read about 50 chapters of it , nothing too fancy , same old same old , , a depressed and mentally unstable protagonist that is very .., very edgy < might argue its his 1000th try and his anger is justified or whatever >but too much edge for my tastes.
[SSS-su*cide Hunter] this novel....is pure wish fufillment , Mc knows everything , gets everything , op ..a "gary stue" ..something to read and forget right after closing the tab. Not one for my tastes.
