war, politics, pining for your yifu. what could be more important? Sha Po Lang follows the calculative and charming Chang Geng and his insufferable yifu Gu Yun, as war rages in Great Liang. a more serious side note: Sha Po Lang focuses on the inner turmoil and the navigation through the life of both Chang Geng and Gu Yun as they suffer and try to overcome their flaws. Though there is romance, I think it's something that goes beyond just love, but a mutual dependence predetermined by fate. As Chang Geng once said: "I have no one to miss except you".  If it's not you, then I miss no one at all.  <<less
