Great Characters, a few strong plot lines which all intersect with writing being pretty good (web novel standards). With everything building up to a climax. Mc is a genuine person whilst not being a complete idiot and interactions with other characters is nice, particularly the female interest. Not really op.

The "climax" of the plot is at about chapter 700 (with like 600 chapters of foreshadowing), the author then proceeds to use the <20 chapters remaining to absolutely ruin half the plot lines then the final chapter ruins the rest. Woo! <<less

Did not think the summoning beasts would be as important as they were. Mc is actually pretty weak when compared to them (at least later in the novel), although he is stronger than most people. Mc is okay, not a douche, but not really a good person. In fact he kinda act like a game addict, which makes sense. No real problems, characters are pretty good, no substantial plot holes. Sometimes can have a few chapters of just boring content. (Usually fights not with the mc now that I think of it). <<less

World is "bigger" in this one and there is more of a sense of crisis. Mc will also be less bland to some, about as reasonable you can get with monsters going around killing people. Characters are pretty good. Mc is pretty op in this one. Nothing really bad. Although you do sometimes feel like the author is just locking the cards away when he could totally do some cool stuff with them. <<less

Pretty good. Protagonist is borderlines op I guess? I do feel like he could of went about his abilities a much better way. Story is overall pretty good. Ending is...weird, felt a bit out of left field but the "post ending" (?) is pretty cute I guess. <<less

MC is the author of the novel and becomes a part of it. He has the obligatory system, although it is pretty underutilised which isn't necessarily bad. Best part of the novel is probably the characters and their relations. They all feel like actual humans and are all likeable. There is a section that seems a bit dull.

Honestly this novel just happens to have all concepts I like into one: Self sacrifical MC; battle academy; mercenaries; creator transmigrates; actually happy and rewarding ending which feels complete. <<less
