He is not OP, because as soon as he gets another powerup a even stronger opponent comes along and smashes him to a pulp. Its good for fights and the card system is interesting, but the ass pulls and monologues between a sword swing can put you off. Also there's like 6 different power systems he has access too but is still useless. Lots of POV shifts.

Good if you like the MC experimenting and competent. He is not OP but he is not Weak, he is the top student in his class and has some advantages over the others.

Magic card system, but atm mainly focus's around creature cards that are similar to Pokémon. Slightly knowing the poke'mon evolutions is a slight advantage the MC has.

The students don't really act their age, but belief can easily be suspended. Good pace between the 'duels' and normal school life.

Characters are decent and not boring, the creatures develop intelligence and are characters themselves to an extent.
