The Ml is a good break from all your other typical ml that's already perfect at the beginning. The fl and ml's family are a god sent from above. The only problem is the ending, i MTL'ed it and... The ending doesn't look nor sounds like the ending, so I'm not really sure if IT IS the ending, but you know give it a shot,  you might like it.   <<less

The plot on how she got to the future was gold and very funny too. But i have to point out that although it has some comedy elements it does not really focus on that alone, there is World building and plots that will be uncovered the more you read. So if you like smut,  with a plot, and an Fl that's hella smart, try this!!!  Just give a few chapters a read and see if it suits your taste.  I promise you won't regret!  <<less

Now, i know that the title seems to imply a dog blood,  sado-masochistic love story.  I swear its not, so chill out and give this story a chance.  First few chapters can be a bit overwhelming, too many foreign terms but the translator did put their meaning though, i just rather read all at once than check descriptions.  Don't worry the translation would get better.  Now onto the story.  It was... realistic... compared to other stories with this genre.  Now,  i know there are readers who don't like when the ml had other girls in his house, but listen okay?... Yes,  the ml had concubines, albeit not a lot, less than five I believe but,... more>> the fl is his wife in this story, and these concubines has been there before the fl arrived.

The moment that something happened to the ml and fl,  i swear it was like those concubines was just decorations! At the end only two concubines were left, who were very loyal to the fl and would rather flatter her than the emperor.  The story was very chill,  it talks about the FL's daily encounters, not at all boring though.  What made me like the fl though is that, she did not lose her head for love.  She said (to herself)  he loves me now,  but i don't know till when or if it'll change but if ever it does, I won't go crazy or desperate over him.  I like this mindset very much.  The one reason why some readers don't like to read stories where the ml's have concubines is because we feel hurt for the fl,  but i promise there would be none in this story.  The ml is also very good he did not fall in love directly with the fl but instead he slowly realized his feelings and he even said, because some were waiting until when this monogamous relationship would go,  and they were waiting for the ml to replace the old with the new.  But the ml said that there are people that that are like wine the older they are the more you like them. 

This is really a nice story, very sweet and satisfying so please give it a go.   <<less

I stopped at 700+ chapter, don't get me wrong, its not because its bad,  it's because my brain cells need to regenerate, the plot is getting more and more serious, and reading this novel in mtl is not helping at all,  even if I sacrifice all my brain cells, I'm afraid I'll miss out some important plot parts just because i couldn't understand the translation. That's why I'm bookmarking this, hoping that a decent translator will pick this up and maybe finish translating the whole novel.   <<less

It was so realistic, the characters were so lifelike to the point I was even wondering if these characters were really real, somewhere in a parallel universe. Guys, read this. You won't regret it.
