This is one of my most recent reads. And I LOVE it. I would recommend this novel even if it didn't have secret identity shenanigans.  The MC is someone who in another life would be the poor little white lotus ab*sed by the world/and his potential gongs. In this life he...isn't. I would argue this is a wife chasing crematorium only in the would-be gongs view, lol. MC's identity as a hamster spirit has to be hidden. There's a lot of fun misunderstandings bc of this.

It's a cute story. BUT. I have to give a special mention to one of the side stories that could carry the weight of the secret identity shenanigans all on it's own.  I'm usually very 'meh' on side stories to begin with but NVR a fan of ones that follow their kids. So this is very much an EXCEPTION for me.  It follows one of their kids in a REAL secret identity  (hidden prince) shenanigan. I could read that one as it's own novel honestly.

The MC transmigrates into a novel as a cannon fodder who has to duel cultivate with the villain in order to escape a cave they're trapped in. He then runs away and hides his identity bc novel him has a bad end. Cue ML chasing and trying to find MC without even knowing his face. It's pretty lighthearted so don't let the duel cultivation scare you off-there's no non con in it.

This is an interstellar novel.  It's probably a 3 out of 5 stars for me.  There was a lot of good face slapping in this but ultimately the MC  just wasn't a very compelling character for me. The MC is very OP- which isn't a turn off for me- but add the MC's arrogant character and the author just can't pull off this type of character.

It's also a guide/sentinel but bc of the nature of the MC -ie not being human- it makes that part useful only to highlight the MC's OP-ness.

Not going to completely throw this  one out bc I think it could still be enjoyable to people who like interstellar novels w/ OP MC's. And there's still some good 'arcs' here. <<less

It's a fun story with an arrogant MC in an interstellar setting. The MC is returning to the main star and runs into his rich ex-bf (ML). They broke up bc the ML's family and friends convinced him that MC was a no good gold digger. Cue the secret identity...Mc is actually part of a richer family and is a billionaire. The fun comes from the fact that he continues to hide this in increasingly wild ways via his made up sugar daddy...his big brother.

Definitely full of shenanigans. 

I'd classify this as a junk Read for Pleasure Don't Think Too Hard About It bc the author just can't write interpersonal relationships/romance.  She can do worldbuilding and interesting setups for her novels but  3 novels into her work (that I've read) and she still can't write an actual romance. If you've read her other work you may find the MC starts to feel...familiar.

I'm still enjoying this one though and will finish it so I'd still say give it a try if you like some secret identity face slapping bc this novel really does that well.

 One thing I liked was that after the transmigrator moved in the person he took over (MC’s bf) also got a new life. He doesn’t play a huge role but I liked that he didn’t mysteriously vanish and his reaction to the events of the story.

This was definitely a fun little read. I mtl’d this as there’s currently no finished translation. It was a pretty easy mtl so if anyone is debating this one and is ok with mtl I’d recommend reading it. <<less

The MC has been reborn in the past and accepts marriage with the tyrant emperor. Last life he passed it on to his half-brother who he now knows is a transmigrator from the future.

The MC and ML have a pretty good relationship, no dog blood plots there. They often go out of the palace in disguise and had a few story arcs based on their disguises.

So far there's also (1) other transmigrator that the MC has discovered. Pretty minor character but the MC is also pretending to be a transmigrator so they trust him.

So far I'm enjoying this novel. Would recommend. <<less

MC is a mech genius and has several badass moments in this. 

MC and ML meet when they're both in disguise. And even after the first layer of disguises are off MC still has some secrets. There's a lot of scheming and plots in this one. It was more fast paced and had more intrigues going on than I expected from the summary.

The main pair are pretty solid characters, and the villains are all smart. Would recommend.  <<less

This is an interstellar ABO, its decently interesting and there's several good mysteries and villains in it.  The couple is definitely a power couple & the MC is strong from the start.

For the secret id part, while it does come out (& there's 1 ok reveal before) it's a letdown overall bc of how little time is spent on it. There's other reasons to read this novel- especially if you like manly couples & strong MC's - but not good from the payoff of a secret identity perspective.  MC and ML have a great relationship. The start is very funny and they bicker a lot. The MC makes up several identities to fool the public and ends up confusing them so much they think he and ML are in various combinations of pairings and cheating on each other (with each other)

It adds to the story but it isn't a huge part of it.  Their kid gets born half-way through the book and is adorable and one of my fav kids in a kid novel that I've read. The ML loves his kid and is a very refreshing change from all the vinegar dads out there.

It's a cute novel and the main leads have a good relationship. Would recommend.  <<less

The MC and ML get into an arranged marriage that is kept secret from their classmates. Their relationship is pretty cute. The MC also has a mysterious past as he came from a garbage planet and only recently moved to the main capital planet. There's also a mystery involving some events from the more war-torn time of 100 years ago.

I read this one via mtl twice so I think that tells how much I enjoyed it. Glad it's getting a real translation, would recommend. <<less
