MC is one of the big bosses of an escape game and goes undercover as a delicate and innocent player in order to woo the ML. A short and fluffy read, more focused on the characters/relationships than the escape game aspect.  <<less

Title is pretty self-explanatory. All the players are given an identity in each Instance they're in but most just do the bare minimum to pass. MC on the other hand is acting so well he easily passes as an NPC even after they begin actively searching for him.... more>>

Unlimited flow isn't a genre I read much in but this is definitely one of my favorites. Each Instance is really well done and got me invested in them. Romance was cute and I ended up liking the MC's character quite a bit.

This story begins several years after an infinite flow game happened and then collapsed. Many people were dragged into the game and then returned to the earth after the collapse. Now many creatures/instances from the game are bleeding into the real world.  There's a task force of players and non players who deal with that and a group of daring teenagers who are searching for answers. But this isn't their story. 

The MC is a lazy lay -about and the adopted dad of one of those teenagers. He is also secretly the Number 1 player of the game.  MC is an extremely unreliable narrator and amazingly manages to keep his secret for most of the book. 

There isn't much of a romance. It's more mystery-ish as the reader tries to figure out what exactly happened to the MC to get us all here. <<less

MC, from a very poor county, finds out his "mom" switched him at birth in middle school. In HS he sees and falls for the ML who lives in a far off and richer county. When he finally makes it to the ML's school he is shocked to find out that his closest friend is the person he was switched with.

MC keeps his true id secret for the majority of the story as he tries to get the man he loves and deal with seeing the family and life that should be his.
