Maybe because I am a person with low self esteem too, but I could really empathise with MC who was consistently wondering why would someone as rich, good looking and a 'winner in life' would want to be with a hikikomori like himself. ML could have been one of those forceful leads who simply bulldoze through the r/s, but I'm glad the author didn't take that route. ML was very caring and patient with MC. He always encouraged MC and was very gentle and patient in his love. The plot has some horror elements but it wasn't that scary to me, since MC can turn into a deer and trample the spirits. ML liked to brag and pretend to be the brave one. He did his best to protect MC and it was really cute. The ending was a little rushed with the final battle but I liked how the author wrapped up the other parts of the story.  <<less
