Also the first 30chaps were so gruesome. Thankgod that arc ended and I didn't give up on that arc. Also I think it's getting better on fluff portion. Ah JYxCapSong are cute tho.. c77 confession was so cute. Woah.. what a read! So the review was right there's 3arcs in the storyline.. loved both first and second arcs but the third one was way too confusing just skimmed through it. Other than that its a pretty good read. Mystery was on point. The whole novel was engaging! Rare to find storylines with this much intricacies. 10/10 for mystery.. 9.5 for overall read? 2nd favourite book after mdzs. ) <<less

I started out in a trance and now I'm already at c81. Ahh. Anyway it's sooo good. My tooth hurts from the main cp's sweetness. Story isn't that surprising as I've read too many eSports novel to guess all the plot points hehe.. not the author's fault but mine. Even tho it's predictable not even a single sentence of this book is boring. Classic shameless MC(Wei Xiao) .A literal ball of sunshine. I really love his character. A unique characteristic i think is his way of motivating everyone. He motivates his teammates.. his opponents.. almost every novel character who comes in contact with him is motivated. Heck even I was motivated by reading lol. If i ever re read this novel it'll solely be 'cause of Wei Xiao s infectious motivational energy. Also the ML(Lu Chen) is your classic cold aloof God captain. But I love how much he spoils Wei Xiao. Ah. They're so sweet. I can't wait for WX's confession. Hurry up WX your captain's waiting. Eeeeep. Another thing that i really like about this novel is that every main character is well thought of. Like they have a (solid) back story. I was a bit apprehensive of some characters at start but halfway through it and i like almost every character for now. Damn this guy is walking definition of passion and perseverance.. two things I desperately need in my life rn. <<less

Perhaps the best School life novel I've read so far. (PS. I feel old for School novels.. and haven't read SAYE and Fake slackers yet. So this is #1 for now lol) Also 10/10 for comedy. Finished in a day. It's so good. Perfect amount of Fluff.. perfect amount of cheesiness.. perfect amount of fantasy.. and perfect amount of reality. I wasn't expecting much when I first started reading but the story and the characters grew on me. None of the chapters are boring. I like MC's persistence in chasing ML. At times i thought ML was too cold in the beginning.. but I loved that his character changed to being clingy after he finally accepts his own feelings. Side characters are cute too. I generally don't like the idea of a pre existing child in stories but Yan Wanqiu's wasn't annoying at all. I love how smart she is. All in all this story really brought a smile on my face after a long hard week. 9/10 <<less

just found this on a random reddit thread. I think this has most nsfw chapters I've ever read. Basically a 18+ fest. But the story is entertaining. I'm reading for the plot.. trust me (don't) lol. 

MC is a true lone sole.. it's heartbreaking. [Rant: I just read Glory before this and the contrast between MCs is so great yet so similar. Both of them don't take problems to heart but one(WeiXiao) does it with his extra positive attitude (and ability) as he's an overachiever while the other(WuXingzi) does it coz of his negative and passive attitude (and foolishness).] Wait.. pause.. how did this nsfw fest turn into a well planned political plot? Loved the chemistry between them. There's a good backstory for YuYang and QuiZui's personality did not disappoint. There's a little bit of cliched moments but they are not too cringey.10/10 for shameless MC/gong but there's not much description of gaming techniques. Also I'm addicted to LoL competitions.. PubG seemed a little lackluster but it might just be the writing. Now my main problem with this book..*spoiler alert* how can an eSports player not practice for about a year and still be better than everyone? What about game updates? What about feeling of hands? I've come across all kinds of eSports gods in novels yet QZ/Drunk is the most formidable coz no matter how good Whisper or Lu Boyuan(ICDI) were they couldn't beat this lolAlso how easily QZ's hand injury got solved. Like how conveniently he retired and came back. Seemed a little unrealistic. But that's the beauty of novels I guess. <<less

MC is someone I related the most to.. so much that I found the middle of the novel boring. Then why? Why am I crying while pulling an all nighter?!?! Maybe coz the subject is too close to my heart "loneliness" both the main characters are lone people.. left alone because of the circumstances.. that loneliness is way to relatable in one sense but not at all in another. Anyway made me shed a lot of tears. 0/10 would not recommend lol jk. 9/10 even tho I'm someone who has totally moved on from the teen fiction genre it's a good story. Wait I haven't even finished it yet.. I'm on the climax part. Views after completing.. Oh yeah but I cried hysterically on this one. I just realized this book give me a panic attack. First.. it's Online gaming novel not eSports. Second.. ML(YeLang) seemed toxic at first but don't worry there's character development.

Now. The novel is a good read and funny. Although cliched, the plot is well written. The gaming community is well intricate.. the side characters have good back stories.. there is character development.. and the best part is the MC(LingYang). He's funny.. silly yet complex. He lies.. like lies a lot but none of his lies are malicious or baseless. As the story progresses we get explanations for each of his lies. At one point I even got overwhelmed by keeping track of all the lies lol but in the end it was all worth it. 

For the ML(YeLang) and his male chauvinism. I love that the ML is not MC's first love.. even at times annoying or not fit for MC but by the end he is the one cherishing MC the most. 

I did feel bad for the second lead.. he's a great guy.. loved MC so much for sixteen years yet did not end up with him. This novel reminded me how important timing can be. If only the second lead had confessed earlier.. if only he hadn't tried to hide his feelings.. if only.. if only. There's a lot of ifs and buts but in the end ML became MC's true love and he proved it. 

I loved how ML seemed annoyed by MC but when the second lead came in picture he clinged to MC as if his life depended on him. That's when I realised that this male chauvinist tusandre YeLang has fallen completely and irrevocably in love with LingYang. <<less

Tusandre bottom(Shen Qiao) x Sunshine top(LuZhe). 

Main cp chemistry is off the charts. Their love banters make me giddy lol. I love ML's Shamelessness. 

The backstory kinda reminded me of FOG (FOG is a little better tho.) Anyway the story is pretty simple yet well written. But the gameplay could have been better. I wanted more details about each player's strength and weaknesses in the game.. rather than just mechanical operations. But it was better than the game descriptions of many eSports novels I've read so far.. so I won't be complaining too much about it. 

Also this was my first ABO novel and it didn't make me uncomfortable.. so.. that's good. I might try more light ABO novels in the future. 

The Extras in this one are ExtraSpecial.. I love the ending. It's so fluffy. I got my fill of fluff by this novel hehe. Thankyou. 

Anyway my only complaint would be I needed harsher punishments for LuZhe's mother and father for ruining both LuZhe and ShenQiao 's lives. Especially his mother.. she got away wayy too easily. I expected more Face-slapping scenes for new BLX's top laner too.  <<less

First time using Text to Speech for a novel.. this was a pleasant experience. Basically i did not read this novel instead listened to it.

 A good mix of life lesson and fluff. Love the relationship between ML and MC. Both are equally blackbellied. Also Face-slapping sequences are really satisfying. It did get a little repetitive after 150+chapters but i still enjoyed it.. maybe coz I was listening not reading. Anyhow special mention to the great translation.. hands down amazing. PS. subtle racism needs to be ignored. <<less
