This story is my all-time favourite and that will never change. It focuses more on the plot than the romance which I usually don't like, but the plot was just too good.  It takes a lot of commitment to read this book. It's hard to articulate this, but the book is just very smart. It took me so much brainpower to understand the puzzles, and the plot twists were absolutely mind-blowing. HOLY sh*t I love the dynamic between Hua Cheng (ML) and Xie Lian (MC). Reading about them together is already amazing, but they as individuals is a whole nother level. Xie Lian is one of the most, if not THE most captivating character I've ever read. I honestly can not describe him for no words can perfectly express his beauty both inside and outside.
