ABO but with superpowers and no pheromones is pretty fun. This reeks of femcel fantasy, though. In an annoying way. Everybody is genuinely aggravating aside from Duncan.
I hate how Yerena keeps getting kissed without her explicit consent and true mutual desire. I don't like how spineless she acts with Lambert specifically. Yes, I do understand that she played along because she's not in a position to refuse, which is even MORE frustrating because of how much of an emotionally-constipated quiet h**ny boy caricature Lambert is. Are his kissing scenes supposed to be steamy?? Because there's nothing to enjoy with how bland his character is, even after getting to know him more afterwards. Yeah, I'm saying that I would've liked the high school-level kissing scenes more if he had at least SOMETHING going on.
Yerena's pushover attitude combined with her foolish hahaheehee positivity is believable enough for me (although, yes, it's irritating). This trio is so unlikable. Already said everything I had to say about Lambert before. Benjamin is your typical strong cold guy with empathy issues, aka vanilla-but-viewed-as-spicy. He's like if you grab Gojo Satoru and take all the whimsy away from him. His sole fun aspect is the "Mass mu*derer" ability, which sounds cool. What sucks the soul out of me is that he's probably the endgame ML, if the first chapter means anything. Baron is a 3rd grader. Nothing more to say about him.
The way their romantic worlds peaked at 10 years old says everything. These men are attracted yet allergic to Olivia because they're petty and think Duncan wants to f*ck them over again, but they're clearly gonna give in and then boohoo have another Yerena withdrawal. These whiny babies deserve to get eaten alive, chewed, and spat out by all high-tier monsters. Overall, this is a harem sci-fi with underdeveloped tropey characters... including the female lead herself (oh great heavens! the unrealistic standards I've set upon women.)
I got genuinely frustrated and cringed out of my mind with the attempts of "romance" in the pre-cliff chapters. s*xual HARASSMENT ISN'T ROMANTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's just all agree that the most enjoyable character is Duncan. Like OH finally someone with personality and who can bring entertainment and is emotionally and mentally stable! Endgame fr. I like Olivia too actually, she doesn't take sh*t from these men and I think she should slap them all for even wanting her to be a replacement for Diana; luckily for her, Yerena is here to steal the show.

Listen man, Calix dug his own grave by making Dominic such a cutie-patootie.
I have a hard time picturing how in the world Rosenia's gonna forgive him for essentially Megamind-ing her but worse. I would make that man GROVEL if I was her after finding out the truth. She was so in love... and turns out everything about Dominic was a lie. How do you possibly come back from lying about your persona having a child, not just out of wedlock, but also with an *employee* and when he was a MINOR???
Which is to say, absolute buffoon move of Calix for doubling down on him and Dominic being different people. Truly hilarious.

"Not to mention how he’d bend to her will and never bothered with some useless male pride." That's exactly the bar needed when picking men. Get that useless male pride OUTTA THERE!!!!!!
Holy shit, it's way funnier than I thought it'd be. Everyone's a devious nutjob, especially Daphne. I enjoy how the characters' casual insanity complements the writing's comedic tone. It's astounding how I wholeheartedly understand Daphne's tastes... I, too, love seeing men in anguish and find them more adorable in a miserable state.
To me, it's so surprising how Daphne herself is ACTUALLY villainous compared to other villainess characters. As in, she's totally fine with being delightfully arrogant, malicious, and off-the-rails instead of being reluctant to behave so. Just because she gained memories of her past life doesn't mean she has to do a complete 180 and BOY do I appreciate that. Her playfulness and willingness to pull off anything to get what she wants is so Disney villain-coded in the best way possible. She's having so much fun toying with Celestian... I truly, from the bottom of my heart, adore it. Other than that, her individual interactions with Romeo and Psyche are incredibly entertaining, as are the quote-on-quote love triangle/square scenes. Daphne, Celestian, Romeo, and Psyche can easily form a polycule where they all want to f*ck and kill each other.
I also love whenever Celestian acts out and acts bratty. I'm specifically talking about his "tantrum" scenes. Okay little prince! It's time for bed and head pats. It's truly hard to not look down on his ass and be condescending, like dealing with a misbehaving pet. If I were in Daphne's position, I'd shoot at least one of his feet when he had his outburst at the beginning of the story, and especially after the escaping stunt he did later on. Can you tell I get a sick enjoyment out of the suffering and teasing of certain characters, just like these main characters do against each other? And no, I don't hate Celestian, he's incredibly entertaining. If he wants to catch Daphne's attention, he just has to get a bratty attitude. When it works and Daphne is angered-attracted, he goes back to bow down to her pride and be a whiny dog. Some men just deserve to look pretty and cry and be a useless trophy (I'm on that toxic ML mindset; women in male fields!)
The twins and Narid are entertainingly audacious while managing to reign in Daphne when she's feeling mu*derous. Most important of all, I'm part of the Kisha x Celestian wagon. I surprisingly find Amber to be just as fun as the others, even though she's always getting in Daphne's way. The way Amber hurts Daphne is exactly like that of a playful yet inherently narcissistic mom, it's why Daphne both hates and loves her. Mrs. Beaucater here unhesitatingly sabotages her daughter if said daughter doesn't do what's expected of her, and Amber's self-centered ass is obviously not remorseful for any wrong she did to Daphne. Her villainy reaches a point of hilarity because of the story's comedic nature, though obviously not cartoonish levels. I think it's brilliant that Daphne's not "aborting" her "baby" (dear April), just to spite Daphne. Marius came in rather late into the story but yeah, Daphne takes after him with how cheeky he is. Her mom and dad are honestly both crazy, but the difference is that Marius is a supportive absentee girldad.

Good read so far. Edith is cold, calculating, and easily irritable, but she's also really vulnerable when it comes to her loved ones. Above all, she's just a cool lady. I LOVE how she's so accustomed to restarting her life whenever something goes wrong, so much so that she's lost count after SIX HUNDRED. That's an insane plot point, yet it also justifies her personality and the choices she makes to me. Girl, no wonder all these people are worried sick about you with the way you live. Not really sure what to think of 4 different male leads, but Ethan's been entertaining so far and I love when he went feral during the cave fight. Therion is a devious little sh*t but I adore that about him.

Not interested in reading the side story chapters. I felt nothing for the main story's ending.
This story fell short of being genuinely good, and it's mainly because of weak pacing, weak character exploration, weak conflict, and weak conclusion. It was fine, until it's not. Enjoyable but mediocre, really.
There's only one word that can describe the pacing in the main story's later chapters: awful. The author straight up skipped through a lot of plot progression, even the important ones, which I find really strange. The story still works, but it would've been much more engaging if these new developments were expanded upon instead of being glossed over by yet another time skip or page break. It's apparent to me that the author just wanted to get past everything and have Sion come back ASAP, but it's disappointing. I believe Laila is a well-written enough character to stand on her own and carry an arc, even if the other main character isn't there. Sion can also stand on his own and show us his side of the story as a hero while Laila isn't there. The build-up to their reunion feels like nothing. We KNOW they're gonna reunite, but the important thing is to make them yearn and have us root for them to meet again, which the story doesn't f*cking do.
The author pretty much refuses to flesh out side characters. I know, they're "side" characters, but it's honestly pointless to introduce a cast and only offer scraps afterwards, their world feels really damn small as a result. For example, Laila has at least 12 living siblings, and yet only about 3 to 4 were introduced. It makes sense for the inhumane Marquis to have so many children, however the lack of interactions between Laila and the Hildegarde siblings was such a missed opportunity, even with the excuse that she's not close with any of them. The Marquis' attention on Laila could've started so much sibling rivalry, but nothing happened aside from the lake incident. Sion's siblings received adequate expansion during the chapters that they do appear in, but Laila's own siblings... even the ones she loved... were just there to conveniently move the plot. Laila's goal of living old is heavily intertwined with her family's death, so I don't understand why they introduced Sion's deceased siblings and show his interactions with them (showing us why exactly he's so hellbent on killing the Hildegardes), and then not do the same for Laila and hers. Even Kidon and the Marquis, despite being pivotal characters in driving the conflict, were glossed over and only given the bare minimum screen time. They don't antagonize Laila and Sion as much as I thought they would, their presence as antagonists are just plain weak. Actually, Sion's own situation in the temple wasn't even expanded on, and that's CRAZY considering how his identity is being a damn hero.
The entire way they handled Laila's regression issue is so contrived and quite frankly an asspull. I can buy a terminal illness being caused by the regression stone, but Laila's sister coming back from the dead SOLELY to introduce a way to deal with said illness is... mediocre. The arc still functions, but it's just... ugh. The sisters don't even f*cking interact beyond necessary. You could've replaced her with another new character and it still would've had the same emotional impact. Sion's fight with the human Evil God is a last-minute conflict that came out of nowhere, started by a barely-there antagonist. The way the Evil God was defeated... I can't even express how disappointed I felt. I had no real expectations since the story's quality had already gone down towards the end, but like? Never seen something this anticlimactic. Astounding how a story with a somewhat interesting premise can end in such a painfully rushed and nonsensical way with an entirely unneeded arc. They could've easily ended the story after Laila's regression was handled, instead of dragging it out in this way. But like, okay. It's cute that their daughter was introduced in the end as the new hero. Whatever.
Disregarding my complaints about the writing, the good parts are still nice. I just wish the story was better in the severely lacking areas. Laila is endearing and lovely. I wish we got more chapters about her past lives, especially the one where she managed to escape on her own. I did manage to feel sympathy for Sion despite what he did. He doesn't have a grudge towards Laila specifically, it's just because he grouped her up with her family, which is fair considering his past. It, of course, doesn't justify his mu*ders of her. I do wish there was at least one timeline where Laila killed Sion in an attempt to save her life and it still failed at preventing her own death (such as being caused by other means like in her first regression), would've really tugged at my little rotten heartstrings.
I buy this romance because at the very least, Sion was the one who fell first, and yet he didn't dare to truly love her. If he WAS the first one who did advances instead of the other way around, I would've been infuriated to ungodly levels. Sion is shameful enough to not be audacious, so Laila has to be the one making the moves. She deserves to have that upper hand on him (being the proactive one in their relationship, I mean) despite her, quite honestly, unfounded guilt. Still though, kids, don't actually fall in love with someone who committed unilateral violence towards you in real life. Laila was so high-strung in her youth because she's always stressed the hell out from her body being engaged 24/7 in the fawn reaction, sucking up to somebody you're afraid of to not get hurt is awful.
Anyway, Taylor is always a joy to see, my favorite silly man. I also appreciate how Cecile acts like an actual big sister who loves to tease her younger brother.

Whatever. Not reading the side story chapters.
TL;DR:
I love Helena. I love the twins. I love Aiden and Jane. Do I love Caligo? No. No, I do not. No matter how much he grovels, it'll never be enough to make up for his past deeds. "But people can change", you might say. Yes. But sometimes that sh*t doesn't matter. Sometimes it's better to f*cking leave the person you hurt alone instead of "making amends", which is something Caligo doesn't do. Because OF COURSE the guy gets the girl, no matter what wrongs he did towards her. And OF COURSE she still goes back in the end because at least "he's sad and regretful". HAHA! This is a Korean romance fantasy, so of course they reconcile! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (I say calmly as my body falls off a cliff.)
Long Version:
Caligo is so wish-washy and the only thing he's been right about is that, yes, Aiden *does* have better chemistry with Helena. Every time this absolute braindead moron asks why Helena doesn't approach him and goes on a jealous fit... whose f*cking fault is that, I wonder. "She's an Eskel", yeah and I can put a bullet in your oh-so-handsome-can-do-no-wrong brain, how about that. I can break your f*cking ankles and tear your eye sockets off, so that you can't go 100 yards within Helena's vicinity or set your sinful gaze upon her. I'm secretly setting up a restraining order against this motherf*cker on Helena's behalf, because knowing or doing that herself would eat her up. That's how s*upidly nice and insecure she is.
The story was going so well... and then Rosalith and Aiden's mom appeared as mindless plot devices. Now everything's so asinine. I'm not satisfied with seeing Caligo merely regretting his decisions. They got rid of Aiden's actually thoughtful self for this shit. This man is an actual f*cking villain. A musty ass tr*sh can. An imbecile's ego being responsible for thoughtlessly ruining a woman's life, that's always scary to see. What's worse is that Helena STILL ends up with him because it's a regret novel (although the main story did end in a somewhat open-ended way romance-wise). It's not like I didn't expect it at all, but I can't my disappointment. What does genuinely sicken me is the fact that SALIZAR is the one to reunite Helena with Caligo, despite her wishes to finally be free of the life that chained her down.
I really wanted the twins to run away with her and go to Aiden. Yes, I'm still saying this even after what Jeremy did after he found out about the rumors. It doesn't erase his mistakes, but he's an emotional child. Joshua has her back any time; I know that Jeremy does as well, he was just lashing out. Aiden may not have the power to protect Helena and is a coward due to circumstances that society enforced upon the two, but goddamn at least he doesn't NEGLECT HER DESPITE HER OBVIOUS SUFFERING OR IGNORE HER ATTEMPTS AT COMMUNICATION OR MAKE UP ASSUMPTIONS TO JUSTIFY HIS MISTREATMENT OF HER LIKE A CERTAIN SOMEBODY.
Caligo was likable only in the previous arcs, he can die now for all I care. And, you know what. I'll just say it: Caligo and Helena don't have any chemistry together to justify any of this bullshit. It was nice to see them finally f*cking communicating in the end, but I'm so mad about this story BECAUSE Helena had to suffer so much before this man finally became truthful. It's like beating a defenseless animal to the curb over something it can't control.
Disregarding my various grievances, the farming stuff and Helena's relationship with twins are endearing. Jeremy and Joshua are the light of the family. Helena's guilt and doormat mindset are understandable, as well as her kindness and hard work. She's real tough and lovely, I appreciate that she grew a backbone and leaves on her own accord, even under really shitty circumstances. And honestly? I really do love that she's still accepted and embraced in Frantor even after the dumb f*cking stunts that were pulled in the capital; she's their princess Diana. Aiden... is tragically a second ML, and Jane is the emotional support fellow runaway pseudo-yuri maid.
I wanted Helena to survive from the start. She deserves happiness after everything she went through. However, even after the story ended, I still maintain my wish that her illness remained incurable. It would've been sad for the kids, sure, but they could comfort her in her final days. They have to be the ones to remember Helena and protect her legacy after she passes away. They'll learn to never treat someone else the same way.
On the other hand, Caligo can rot in hell for even having the mere conception that he can heal things. Thinking that he can f*cking "save" her... so pretentious. Who the f*ck does he think he is after doing all that. I'll acknowledge that Caligo definitely isn't the worst amongst the pantheon of regretful MLs, but he's so pathetically undeserving of Helena that he has become a special flavor of infuriating. This bastard keeps forcing his presence around Helena, even after she already verbalized her resentment towards him. A happy and romantic ending isn't always the answer. Helena outright admitted her fear of him, because of all that damn emotional ab*se. You expect me to support her STILL ending up with that man? Just because he finally became a little bit more honest? Grovel more, f*cker.
And OF COURSE the treatment worked too, because that's how motherf*cking science works. The only plus side to this situation is that Helena was given the choice of whether to do it or not; I still vividly remember how revolted I was that he approved research of it in the first place without her permission, though. Caligo will never be someone who deserves to be with Helena. He disrespects her feelings and choices to comfort his guilt-ridden selfishness. She needs to live because he can't stand the thought of her being gone. It works out in the end ONLY because Helena does deserve to live.
I've read countless stories where the guy is an as*hole and the lady is a helpless victim, but this one takes the cake in frustrating me the most. Helena's only crimes are not loving herself and being born into the wrong family. I still wish she met someone new at Horion who can genuinely embrace her, and most importantly, *knows* how it feels to be in her position. It doesn't need to be Aiden. It doesn't even need to be ROMANTIC, just somebody who has felt such prejudice and remained strong.

It's good I guess, but I hate the s*x scenes. They just feel very out of place to me. I find it strange how the dark tone during the early chapters, especially the suffering scenes of Aria (I'm not writing that damn full name), is pretty much gone once the romance comes on screen. It's jarring, because I really expected and wanted them to continue that nighttime possession routine; it was such a fun concept.
Carl (also not writing that name) has no business to covet Aria in my humble opinion. I don't even have strong feelings about him. I really do think that he doesn't have the right to go after her, especially with how awfully he treated her in the past. I don't CARE that she's a new person now, it doesn't give him a pass to dare to like her with so little shame. It's a mix of gap moe and Aria's own charms stringing him along, but I still am not a fan.
Aria's struggle with her voice is the best part of the story for me, Aria's loyal guard dog Sir Maicher comes in second place (this guy gets a pass from me because his ass didn't kill her <3). Her voice is an especially meaningful thing to her because it's always been a personal struggle even in her previous life, and that's some really nice stuff to overcome. If Carl really wants to repent, he better just let her go and support her in having a career as a singer. [See how consistent I am? My go-to for every story with a "regretful" male lead is for the lady to leave the man, simple as that.]

I wonder why Evgenia didn't just stick to the amnesia excuse and use it to make other characters do exposition for the info that she lacks. Far less suspicious than just feigning that she remembers everything, considering how she sustained a whole head injury. Aside from that, it's a good story so far. Euclid's obviously gonna try to divorce Evgenia because he feels like a burden, since she's way above his paygrade; this arc's still far from what I can tell, so I'll stick around until the first chapter finally arrives in the main story. But like, locking in despite being terrified, grabbing the sword of her deranged sworn enemy with her bare hands out of pure protective wife reflex, then threatening said enemy while doing it? Euclid if you're not gonna go absolutely manically crazy in love after this and match Evgenia's freak, then IT'S MY TURN MOVEEEEEEEEEE
Kaiden's narcissism and sadism towards Evgenia is... surprisingly entertaining? Like, wow. What a ridiculously childish a**hole. If I were in og Evgenia's position, having to endure all that and then getting "dumped", I would also gladly carry out a f*cking coup. I do feel for him since he had that crazy unrequited love for og Evgenia, but he's such an insanely obsessive and pe*verted d*ck that my sympathy evaporates. It seems that our villainous girlie here originally only "wanted" Kaiden for the throne even at the expense of her pride and reputation, but also to protect the other noble ladies. It's even revealed that she compensated her victims behind the scenes, because they were initially targeted by Kaiden to get Evgenia's attention. And honestly? With that reveal, I'm willing to bet that the coup was done because she wanted to get Kaiden away from Melissa at all costs.
And Euclid. OHHHHH Euclid. No wonder Evgenia is head over heels for him. He keeps his distance because of his condition so that he doesn't break Evgenia's heart, but he's always grateful and still falls for her anyway, never failing to protect her and even trusting her love in him instead of doubting her when they had to face Kaiden together. Anxiety is normal, but suspicion isn't. On the other hand, Damien constantly preaching and telling Evgenia and Kaiden to repent, because he knows how the original story goes, is hilarious. If the three male leads of this story were to be assigned as traffic light colors, then Kaiden is red, Damien is yellow, and Euclid is green.

Good mystery and good characters! I like the way they tied up all the plot points, and pretty much every relevant character got their time to shine. It's pretty convenient how they solved the crimes, but I appreciate that it's not mind-blowingly contrived and makes sense.
I absolutely adore all the technical criminology terms used in the story, though it can go overboard with how Charlotte acts like a "nerdy" IRL investigator; this ain't CSI girl calm down. She should just revise the justice system with her position by the end of the story. Regarding everything related to Cortina, I like how it's acknowledged that pacificism is better in the long-term for solving conflict. Don't start bullsh*t AND don't bury sh*t or pretend they didn't happen, take accountability.
If I were to complain about anything, it'd be the whole Imperial Ability thing. I know this ability is to "make up" for Charlotte's half-commoner blood ("oh she's actually special" yada yada), but I just feel icky because of the classism of even needing that kind of legitimacy to justify her ascend to the throne.

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition! (The doomed toxic yaoi-het love triangle side character subplot)
But seriously, a good read with an interesting concept, good execution, and nice character dynamics. The writing style keeps an omniscient third-person POV; it sometimes can go overboard with spelling every bit of nuance out, but the story's show-not-tell aspect is still good enough to compensate. I do admit that I quite enjoy the choice in writing style regardless, since there's an oversaturation of first-person POV stories that do way worse. One thing I find absolutely peculiar is that the author doesn't name characters that, while they are clearly supposed to be unimportant in the long run, are indeed important in a particular arc. By this, I'm referring to Lionen's friend and the viscount's daughter; even though they probably won't show up ever again after this arc, it's tedious to only refer to them by their titles rather than by their actual names. Even Hans got a name despite being... him.
I love how they handle the regression as something that's not even an outlier, but something that had happened to a previous Bolshevik. It's so nice to see a regression MC reveal her secret early on, simply due to the trust born of the similarity they have in terms of luck. Like, genuinely, it's refreshing to see a story without a "liar reveal" or "secret reveal" going on between the main characters. There's no contrived plot to explain why Riina's luck is abysmal while Einar's luck is the opposite, I appreciate that it's a "it do be like that" situation. Of course, there are some cliches used as story beats, but I'll never dismiss that it's well-written. Einar's status as the lucky boy works in unlucky situations like a deus ex machina that keeps Riina safe, which can be overly convenient, but is fun to see.
Neither Riina or Einar have bleeding hearts even though they do end up helping people, which is a nice deviation from the "I have to help at all costs smiley face" trope. I like how Riina is naturally indifferent yet rational and cautious, while also acknowledging her more emotional past self. She's clever enough to monitor possible threats but not directly work against them due to the existence of her unluckiness. I like how the romance is slow-burn, where Riina notices Einar's feelings first but doesn't reject it outright despite her experiences (and it's not even because she likes him to the same degree too, simply because of their camaraderie). Einar doesn't rush to figure out the extent of his feelings and is slowly changing his monotonous life to do fun stuff just because he wants to, but mainly for her sake and to be with her. I truly adore that he doesn't do the whole obsessive lover shtick and is just a chill and nice guy for Riina to have; really thought he'd be an overly cheeky overbearing bastard, but I've once again been proven wrong by how likable and considerate he is towards her.
Smith and Jane are functioning antagonists. Smith is on the weaker side since he's pretty powerless to stop either main characters now, but Jane still has a chance of doing something dumb that can harm Riina given her motivation. Case in point: the poison. I do like that Jane keeps a facade of absolute self-control and being "above and unreachable" despite her rage inside. Her delusion of being the duke's real daughter is idiotic, but superiority complexes can indeed do that.

It's an adventure constellation rofan story featuring Wendy and friends. Since the story is essentially set in a feel-good remake, things pretty much work out for them in the end of every conflicts. I like how Wendy's slowly getting stronger as an underdog. The action is solid, while the interactions with the constellations range from mildly interesting to fun. The cast itself, though, may be a tad bit too big. Like, why are there so many children and teenage characters?
But speaking of constellations... I find it so mindblowing and sort of absurdly funny how the story namedrops Goebbels of all people, but only refers to Josef Mengele as "the Angel of Death" and doesn't namedrop him at all. Exactly why the author made na*i Germany figures into constellations despite the others being mythological figures, I'd never know, but I do appreciate how they're framed as the bad guys the entire time.

Good action and good characters. Cherry is charming and fun to follow, I love that she doesn't do a complete 180 and change her entire behavior: still bratty and headstrong, but more responsible given her previous life's memories that she's now aware of. I also appreciate how she's so prideful that doing obviously weird sh*t even for the sake of survival doesn't truly faze her all that much. The relationship she has with her parents is endearing, really love doting yet unethical villain parents; the backstory of her running away by herself on a ship is the best thing I've seen in a while because yeah, why WOULDN'T you rebel that way with all that money.
The supporting cast are surprisingly memorable, even with 9 or so people in the Brunel team. If Harrison ends up dead later... or even worse, if he turns into a love interest for Cherry... I would f*cking bite the author through my screen. I like how both Ethan and Nox view Cherry as a fascinating specimen and begin to like her genuinely as a result. I also pray that Aurora takes the yuri route of falling for Cherry, even though it's also highly unlikely that it'd work out with Ethan there; I'd rather this happen instead of Aurora being an antagonist or straight-up an irrelevant side character.

Lilibet my darling heart emoji
I love the chapters of their childhood together. It's very heartwarming to see these siblings bond over their hardships, and at the same time, it's obviously heartbreaking that Elizabeth has to step up and become a parental figure for her siblings even though she's very young. I find the way the time-skips happen to be rather sudden, though.
I think revealing that Timoteo's power is regression and not regular foresight is cool, but the way they did it was rather... rushed. That mini arc sure did cement Timoteo's feelings towards Lilibet and his willingness to protect her, but it was just way too fast for me to really feel his sorrow. I didn't feel any particular stakes at hand because we obviously know that Lilibet is safe in the end. Also, I kinda miss when Timoteo was more snarky, annoying, and argumentative when with our darling girl. It's fun to see their bickering since she doesn't show that side of her that much with her siblings.
In typical rofan fashion, Lilibet is surrounded by a duke, a mafia boss, an up-and-coming tower master magician, and a sword master. I do so love that the latter three are just her overprotective siblings and not her love interests. Edward, Daniel, and Leo are all very likable. I love the arcs related to their respective struggles and how they come to love Lilibet even more because of how she keeps them safe every time.
I'm fully on girlie's side with how annoying the boys' sabotaging of her relationships is. It's not even a matter of them violating her trust, but more so that their behavior leans towards being overbearing. Lilibet can't live *for* herself with their overprotectiveness. It's not to say that the boys didn't do their best to also support their sister, but I believe every parentified child deserves to have a break from raising their family and/or interacting with them, especially since she's already an adult after the time-skips.

I love how they established Pandora and Erf's relationship way early in the story, so it's just a matter of her getting sh*t done and dealing with the unrequited love of four grown-ass men. Love how creative the paintings/locations were, as well as Pandora's painting abilities.
I like how both Noel and Eric's relationships with Pandora end so tragically, but Eric f*cked up significantly more by lying about his whole identity and not committing even until the end. I'm surprised that Pandora *didn't* wonder if she's just Eric's side-chick with how sneaky his ass was. Her nonchalance, apathy, and indifference after her memories were sealed away in the jar... it's unexpectedly hilarious. She's like, "You'd ride or die for me? Okay..."
Would Erf count as a catboy? Is Pandora a furry? Yes.

TEAM CAIL 4EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE'S THE BEST ONE OUT OF THE BUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! JELLA LITERALLY HAD TO FORCE HIM TO GO AGAINST HER MEANWHILE THE OTHERS ONLY HURT HER WITH THEIR QUOTE ON QUOTE BETRAYALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If Jella doesn't end up with Cail by the end of this story I might just kill myself. Seriously don't get why Yuphe and Niel are sad that she doesn't trust them when they literally denounced and alienated her, acting like overthrowing Jella would "save" her. Not liking how Jella misunderstood when those actions would make any sane person misunderstand? The f*ck were they expecting? Lunatics. She's not a f*cking pet to mess with and then take back in again later. Contrived ass reasons to justify their betrayals. The only one who Jella actually wronged is Cail.
[He couldn’t hurt her just to capture Yuria.] But you did just that? You hurt Jella in order to capture Yuria. That's what happened in the end.

Picked this back up again and it's still charming. I love Fu Yunruo's journey as a single mother and how Wenwen eventually bonded with her after he got over his previous-life resentment. Her venture into botany is easily one of the best parts of the story, alongside obviously the childcare. The plot of the Fu family being against Yunruo is contrived and frustrating, as it is with a lot of family drama stories. And Si Yue... is likable enough I guess.

I pray to GOD that Nahyun ends up with anybody other than Yuhan. I do NOT care. I DON'T APPROVE OF THIS!!!!! IF MY YURI POLYCULE CAN'T COME TRUE THEN SHE SHOULD AT LEAST END UP WITH SIWOO!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway. I love how fake Nahyun acts to get points, and I hope she doesn't view Yuhan any more than a friend at the end of the story. It'd be amazing if she maintains her internal disdain and aloofness towards him, especially since she has access to his POV. I can't say that Yuhan hasn't gone through character development up to this point, he's definitely better and more likable than he was at the start of the story. But I just... f*cking dislike the idea of Nahyun ending up with the original protagonist of a male-oriented harem novel. It feels so icky... and Nahyun definitely has the same opinion, given how she quit reading the novel in the first place because of the harem setting. And, ugh, the comment section drives me f*cking nuts jfc these guys are so gross with their debate of Nahyun's v*rginity. This sh*t is why I don't like it when webnovels bring up "girls and boys can't be friends", it's just plain DUMB and IGNORANT and DISCRIMINATORY. The commenters are all probably incels who dig the male-oriented harem sh*t too much, but still.
Side note, I honestly kind of like whoever Tornito/tiger guy is.

IDK WHY BUT I LOVE THIS STORY SO MUCHHHHHHHHH (I know exactly why, it's everything I gushed about in the following paragraphs. This is seriously one of my favorites of all time + currently is my favorite.)
I know a calm and collected protagonist isn't anything new, but I find the author's take of it with Kana to be refreshing. She really does embody caution. Doesn't do things that she doesn't need to do (i.e: meddle because "it's wrong to let [EVENT] happen") and knows her boundaries. Usually, when I see this type of character, they can be heavily embellished as a "cold-hearted beauty" by others and every living being on earth is attracted to them. Kana, instead, is appropriately in a supportive role in the grand scheme of the plot. Kiriel being attracted to her *is* an outlier, but that in itself isn't surprising with how their relationship is built up. Her connections to other characters don't feel shallow or callous despite her job. It's adorable to see Kana's bond with her spirits, love every bit of interaction that she has with both Celia and Gnome; the chapters where Kana was getting to know Gnome were so cute.
True to her role, Kana doesn't have any particular instance of outshining Letie. Miss Protagonist herself stands well on her own as the setting's "main character" without feeling like she's written as "less" than Kana. Letie really does feel like a typical regressed main character. I really dig that the story doesn't have to dumb her down to make Kana shine, because yes, it doesn't need to. Kana's spotlight exists in the sidelines and the background. I'd definitely root for Letie if the story had been from her own perspective. There's a bunch of stories where the main protagonist possesses a side character and then all the cast redirects their focus towards them, yet the setting here gives clear repercussions towards that kind of thing happening... it's refreshing, I love that.
To me, Kiriel's character is also honestly kind of new in a sense. He's the typical tower master character. His personality is depicted as prickly and uncaring of pretenses, like an actual D&D wizard, but his behavior is not to the point of being unbearable, which is a godsend. He just always has a "I have better things to do than this" type of attitude that leans more towards boredom rather than outright being a hostile as*hole (unlike many other webnovel tower masters). One thing I love is that his curiosity towards Kana doesn't seem forced. I pretty much hate it when "curious" characters are interested in the main characters *just because*. That's lazy writing. So, Kiriel being initially interested in Kana because of her family business and wind spirit, and then building it up naturally over time to him becoming interested in her own self—it makes him quite endearing. I view it as also being consistent with how he originally became interested in Letie due to her "precognitive dreams". Of course, it's a spectacle to see a main character outright asking her love interest if he's interested in her, and Kana doing it out of a sense of caution rather than shamelessness is especially delightful. Kiriel's obliviousness is his own bane.
His feelings becoming Kana's main concern, since it affects the setting and thus her star ratings, is a nice conflict to have. The setting prohibiting Kiriel from admitting his feelings and even him getting weird premonitory dreams regarding her library transmigrator job are also pretty cool plot points. Love the shadow/ragdoll imagery in the dreams. Kiriel's weird perceptiveness is all because of his interest and attention towards Kana, after all. Oh god he's such a pining loser </3
I like the balance that the story gives to all the relevant main and supporting characters in terms of perspectives and screen time. Celia being Kana's animal sidekick and "hidden" ability isn't so outlandish since the rule of maintaining cultivated abilities throughout multiple stories also extends towards Alderaan. I love how cute and friendly she is with Kana, they match so well to the point of Celia even sharing Kana's cautiousness. I feel like Richard and Ethan, who aren't the main focus in relation to Kana, aren't forgettable to me too. They have adequate presence and I really appreciate that since in these possession/transmigration stories, male characters tend to be written as obnoxiously pestering to make an impression, which this story proves to be unnecessary. Arguably, Kiriel *is* written in that way, but his pestering isn't annoying or invasive.
Kana's own friends, Evie and Olivia, are both lovely in their own rights. Olivia seems to simply function as the bridge between Kana and Alderaan, so there's unfortunately not a lot of focus on her own friendship with Kana (in addition to their different levels of social energy), but I still like the focus given to Evie as the cute introvert friend that Kana can be truly comfortable with. It's also fun to see Kana interacting with her spirit summoner friends from the Four-Colored Leaf Guild. Alderaan does his job well despite being ill-fitted for a rofan, it's cool to see another transmigrator in the same story who's an ally yet does his own thing. Him being even more action-oriented than Kana is a nice contrast to her cautious disposition, man I love their coworker dynamic (which Kiriel is constantly jealous of like a fool). Dude would excel so much as a knight character but is instead stuck in an administrative job, how sad. It's funny that he also sort of became a supporting role in Kana's own love story with Kiriel.
