When I first found this story, I really thought the title meant "bl**job villainess" instead of the more sane "broadcast jockey villainess".

Truly went all in on the harem part. Originally, I could only approve of Dungeon Damien, Ilya, and human Clyde. I was disgusted by Ozworld and Euges. However, things have changed. Dungeon Damien is only lovable during his debut arc and Euges pleasantly surprised me. So now, I accept Ilya, human Clyde, and Euges. I hope Damien and Ozworld spontaneously combust, preferably infinitely for the latter.

Theresa herself is good. She's likable and it makes sense why others would like her too, even on top of her naturally attracting and collecting all types of living beings in the game like Pokemon. I don't even remember another author-turned-transmigrator character that actually loves the world that they created, not to mention on Theresa's level. She's obviously aware that the male protags are deeply down bad for her, which makes her obliviousness at the simplest things rather endearing. I think it's terrific how she's considered to be a god in the world. Her naturally being an object of worship and adoration goes against how she's reluctant to genuinely love and be loved, even with the whole ass polycule she has going on. I like that they finally addressed how Theresa can be susceptible to the roles she played in the dungeons and develop affection for the male leads; letting her have time for herself in the final semester is good. Ozworld becoming a professor in the final semester, though, is disgusting. Also, I LOVE LIBBY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The arcs related to each male protag are enjoyable. Damien's arc has the best emotional stakes, has everything I love to see in a tragic romance broken. Very adorable that Dungeon Damien loves Theresa so much, and heartbreaking that she was only able to leave because he was willing to sacrifice his existence as an act of true love (with the kiss). Hate him becoming an antagonist when he merged with original Damien, and how original Damien has seemingly disappeared instead of the two assimilating. I thought that his turn as an antagonist was really damn short, wish it could've been longer; but then again, if it was, I would've hated instead of pitied him. Ilya's arc is long and I don't mind that because man oh man the amount of romance in those chapters actually reaches heavenly levels of crazy. I've seen yanderes acting worse than everything Ilya's shown thus far, so his red flag isn't glaringly bright right now and is more like a nice pink because of how much he's insanely attracted to Theresa.

Clyde's dungeon arc at the start certainly started all this fun, although I suppose I like the aftermath rather than the arc itself. Clyde's demon arc, while decent, didn't really hit me as hard as the ones before, and obviously, the highlight of the arc was the aftermath in Theresa having to deal with a world where Clyde's deleted and replaced... by Ozworld of all people. The butterfly mask person is Clyde though, so separated lovers fr persevere. Calling Theresa his Psyche? Plus notes to you silver man. On a side note, while brief, I like that Theresa was able to confide in Clyde's angel self during Ilya's arc and Clyde himself was able to learn of love before dying. So now we know what he's been up to during the banishment into the void; Theresa's now having her f*cking third arc or something with Clyde at planet Signio.

I said in a previous version of my review that I can't get behind Ozworld and Euges, so it's good to say that this only holds up for the former. Ozworld is so infuriating that I just had to write multiple paragraphs full of disgust and rage, all directed at him.

Ozworld is way too slimy and capricious in a yucky way, worse than the actual archdemon in the cast. I'm not at all intrigued by his past and his abyss, his arbitrary interference in the broadcast is annoying, and him constantly kissing Theresa from the very start is obviously creep behavior. Particularly, I hate how he deleted Clyde and made other characters and previous BJs suffer like this. This mofo self-inserted himself, in addition to rendering yet another Clyde arc into a separation one. Repulsive. He's done way too much bullsh*t that I don't think the author can convince me that he's an actual love interest, but I do absolutely love that she managed to one-up him by making him lose it through kissing. I LOVE how Theresa finally has a sense of superiority over him; it slightly warms my heart that if they somehow unfortunately end up together, it'll be a love-hate relationship (the hate obviously being represented by Theresa). It's revolting that he's Ilya-ing himself into becoming her new professor.

The way this bit*h forced a dungeon situation with Theresa, just because he thinks that she's biased against him due to *absolutely deserved* hatred, making her f*cking live out her previous life again and shove himself in to be her beacon of light... it really makes me sick. f*cking scolding Park Jeonggi that he shouldn't bully Jiwoo to get her attention meanwhile he's doing all of this with that very same f*cking mindset, rewinding time whenever he f*cks up or just feels like it like a p**sy, then acting like nothing's wrong. I would've been able to tolerate his manipulativeness if he had at least been endearing, which he is f*cking not. He thinks it's a game and always undermines Theresa's agency, right from the very start when Theresa was Jiwoo by making her a BJ.

Ozworld deserves to fail, for all the times Theresa has to give in to what he wants. I want to see this motherf*cker fall off his high horse and willingly become the dirt that Theresa walks on without expecting ANYTHING in return. If he thinks his love is so much better than the others while being built off lies, then he deserves to be hurt by Theresa. The author's doing a fantastic job at making him cosmically infuriating, it's genuinely impressive. I really don't want him to win, no matter what. Also! No wonder this bit*h is the way he is; he's programmed to not be able to love. Idgaf about your sob story though. Develop your cognitive empathy and emotional empathy before love, b*tchass. "I only love her but she doesn't love only me" WAH WAH WAH BOOHOO BLEGH I don't wanna f*cking hear it you goddamn baby.

Which is to say, live news: THANK GOODNESS CLYDE MY DEAR IS HERE!!!!! THANK f*ckING GOD THERESA HAS HER HANDS ON THAT MOFO'S WATCH!!!!!!!!! ILYA SWOOPED IN TO SAVE THERESA FROM OBLIVION AND DAMIEN IS IN THE BACKGROUND FIGHTING NPCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CAN SEE THE END THIS GODFORSAKEN KOREAN DUNGEON ARC IN THE HORIZON OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO WRECK THAT f*ckING RED FREAK WITH THE POWER OF ACTUAL LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Theresa throwing herself into the void can still be part of the plan!)

Anyway. I do like how Theresa had to Scheherazade her way to make Euges not kill that court lady using Sisyphus's analogy of all things. My opinion on the off chance that she ends up with this guy as disappointing still holds up. It's basic, that's that. I still don't really want to see a Callisto situation when people at the palace had to wear shoe coverings whenever this f*cker gets pissy. Tyrannical ass manbaby. He redeemed his more aggravating qualities in Cecilia's dungeon and, I must admit, the way he fell for Theresa was pretty dang cute. Cecilia was adorable as their fake daughter, I really did feel bad for her since she was just an unhappy kid acting up; it's nice that she became one of Theresa's butterflies. Wish this arc was as long as Ilya's, even though, yeah, it wouldn't make sense narrative-wise. There just wasn't that much conflict in the dungeon aside from Euges's regression clock incident. This guy's glaring red flag now, though, *is* having the same clock motif as Ozworld and being an emperor like he was in the past... but other than those two, Euges is acceptable enough for my liking. More than acceptable, actually, but yeah.

God damn. Something something about the older love interests in this story. Ilya and Euges are definitely the most reliable ones amongst the crew. Love how they dote on her in similar but different ways, befitting their statuses/jobs. They're obviously chronically b*tchless but somehow also have a lot of experience in leading Theresa during their scenes. Like, Theresa's first kiss scene with Euges? Hello? I was more charmed by this one languid kiss than most of the other kisses in this story, like just in general. The scene doesn't have the same frantic energy that Theresa's kiss scenes with the other dudes have, it's unhurried yet romantic. I f*cking dig that. Okay, since I have a big soft spot for Ilya, I like that one scene after Clyde's disappearance where Theresa finally breaks down and is comforted by Ilya. He sneaks in his own horniness while pampering her, but ultimately puts her first. [Professor Felix is just like me fr, me and him are the ultimate Ilya truthers.]

Theresa's confirmed to not want to go back to her original world, she loves her current game world and wants to stay. I'm fine with that, and it's nice that she only wants to use her wish ticket to bring Clyde back into the world. Clyde seems to be endgame seeing how much drama is built into his character, but Ilya and Euges are definitely going to be part of Theresa's side-polycule (real) (trust) <<less

JUN IS SOOOOOOO ATTRACTIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As much as it is sad, I love how she was able to withstand all the pain she received as a supportive mage and remain strong. The knowledge that she's from another world probably made Jun compartmentalize easier, but it's not like she can take Fabian's betrayal lying down, so she chose Meyer as her new bet. Even in actual games, buffing characters can easily be replaced by players for what seem to be more important characters (I'm fallible towards this kind of thing too), so I like how they included that kind of discrimination and applied it in the world. It makes Jun more sympathetic too and gives her a natural reason to be on a disadvantaged position. She makes up for her lack of physical and magical strength by her game knowledge and tactical skills, as well as being a trustworthy and likable superior. I was ironically kinda ready to be disappointed by shallow writing in relation to Jun being a worthy character with her support capabilities (i.e: the story biting off more than it can chew), but the author was able to show me and like everybody inside the story that there's no need to look down on her, that you need to think further instead of seeing the surface. Smart writing, love to see it.

I incredibly love the choice in making Meyer a complete dork for Jun, where she often has to step up to be the more dominant figure in the relationship. Like. He's become a whole ass trophy husband after she became emperor. The Grand Duchy is basically Vince's now, and Meyer's only job is to make more merchandise of the Black Knights and babysit their kids. I enjoy seeing their slowburn romance. While I do think this story lacks more chapters and overall focus in that department (compared to the action), the ones that do focus on their romance make up for it. I cannot stress this enough, but I ADORE that Jun ends up being the more proactive one because Meyer is a big buff softy. Her handcuffing him during the first night.... OH LORD GIRL YOU FREAKY AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The side characters are memorable and well-defined. Many can certainly stand on their own without their relation to Jun or Meyer, with traits that stand out. I'm sure a general consensus between readers is that August is a favorite, I myself am of the same opinion. I really thought at the start that the story would build a love triangle and pull a not-so-celibate stance on August, but he really only became the unwilling couple's counselor. Aside from that, I appreciate that Axion embodies the full D&D wizard stereotype, even more so because he's really funny to read. The special forces trio were adorable sidekicks, and I like the latter addition of Anasta and Jeanne into the troupe. There weren't even any real love rivals for both Jun and Meyer, and that's super f*cking cool because it's just straight fun and provides a lot of focus for the action. Speaking of, the dungeon concepts and battle scenes were well-written and easy to follow. <<less

It's a tragic, sad, foolish, and heartwarming love between two very broken people. Nice pacing and the ending is adequately satisfying. Surprisingly, the esper-guide aspect of the story seems kind of in the background and underutilized.

I thought this story wouldn't take itself too seriously since the premise is literally Christa banging Ragnar so that she can steal his sword and kill herself, but it turned out to be actually gut-wrenching. Christa and Yudina suffered the brunt of the crown prince's inferiority complex and sadism, and Ragnar was always the last one standing. I really didn't expect Christa to actually die, even after all that. She's been through way too much, having no self-esteem yet being able to love wholeheartedly. The stuff about the gods and the holy sword tied the whole regression thing quite well, in addition to Christa being the goddess Erna's "incarnation" of sorts and the dragon being her true dad. Ragnar really is a devotee of Christa, I love it. I also like that he and the dragon slowly became friends through constant unwilling exposure. The dragon really gave Christa two gifts before he died: her memories, and her firstborn (the reborn baby dragon Fafnir).

Ragnar becoming a complete worshipful fool after meeting Christa again in the imperial ball is splendid. A healing arc right after that avalanche of angst, where their relationship can now be one built genuinely and organically instead of being one built off conditions, that's just really good. Christa deserves love, she deserves Ragnar's love. He might be lovebombing her to hell, but at least he's never gonna let her go. He also taught her the joys of m*sturbation to defeat her abandonment trauma, we love intellectual kings and queens. On top of that, his unwavering and unconditional love for Christa gave her so much security that she's unashamed of wanting him, of being the dominant one in their f*cking. Teasing him, making him cry, advancing on him shamelessly. Waiter! More assertive women and pathetic clingy men please!

Anyway, Defeating Eilio through public shaming is... something alright. Wish Ragnar could've just chopped his body up and display the remains in a highly visible place, but that would make his and Christa's lives not peaceful. I do like that it's rather similar to how Christa was witch-hunted in her past lives. Her incidents were certainly of the misogynistic flavor, but I'll take what was ultimately dealt to Eilio. The random h*mophobia in relation to the church wasn't surprising considering... well, it's the church... but come onnnnnnnn y'all already have mu*der and human experimentation. Taking it up the ass should be the least of anybody's worries. (And fyi, I'm a lesbian who's not into sodomy. Justice for the gays and other freaks who do, though. EXCEPT YOU EILIO.)

Above all, thank you for punching the guy who said that it's a woman's duty to produce a healthy child, Ragnar. Feminist king fr.

I do have to note how pregnancy is basically portrayed as a liability in this story (at least, to me). The way these women are held hostage by the fact that they have these damn fetuses growing... is realistic, which is maddening. What happened to Yudina in particular is exactly why abortion needs to be an available choice in the real world; it's horrific to have to live through that, and the woman's life must always be prioritized. (I'm stressing the "IRL" part because I'm not so brainless as to genuinely be angry about a rofan novel not being pro-choice enough. Babies are cute, but I don't share the same sentiment as these rofan girls about them being more important than grown ass *living* adults.) <<less

It's tragic that she has to resort to using it, but I think Charlotte's "steel mentality" ability is pretty funny; it really is just the system making her lock the f*ck in, albeit not working when she's in physical pain. Dietrich becoming obsessed with her is really no surprise considering their circumstances together and how his past planted the seeds of the darker aspects of his personality. I like the terrifying horror game elements, where Charlotte is forcefully controlled by the system and has to constantly do damage-control post-possession, and Dietrich is the unblissfully aware victim who has to step into action every time bullsh*t happens.

From Dietrich's perspective, I guess Charlotte is like a broken person who's forced to act as a malevolent eldritch horror being, so he grows to sympathize and then obsessively love her. She has to constantly suppress her emotions, always being calculative with her choices and interactions. Although pitiful from how ruthless she's forced to be, this does mean that Charlotte has little opportunities to be genuinely brainless like other MCs. Furthermore, being forced to assimilate with the mansion itself, having to lose her humanity in order to pull off a chance at escape... now that's quite terrifying. And it's worse because it was just a big fat lie to ensnare her into the mansion's trap.

Love whenever stuff from outside of the mansion is introduced, like how the temple's dealing with the curse. Whenever more lore about the mansion is revealed, I clap with my giddy little hands. However, the in*est attack was truly surprising. That reveal was f*cking crazy, like OH MY GOD YOUNG LADY GET UPPPPPPP!!!!! And to think that later it'd be revealed that the diary lady, mansion assimilation lady, and current Charlotte herself are all the same people... Both in her past and current life, she lost her autonomy and became a victim of barbaric men. The same tragic love too with Dietrich, who lacked freedom as well.

Charlotte's always the one to hurt Dietrich first out of her desperate selfishness, but at the end of the day, they're both powerless. I'd curse the world too if I had to live like that. You can say that she doesn't have to be so cruel, but that's how she preserves herself. Dietrich knows full well how evil Charlotte can be, yet he still loves her in all of her broken and vicious glory. He etched her name to his arm Kakyoin-style to not forget her entirely, and even after reuniting with Charlotte who's now known as Emily, he still fell for her. This man is a loser who I respect.

On the other hand, I genuinely feel afraid of Johannes. He's a f*cking demon, truly. Don't know what will happen to Noah, but I hope he survives until the end. I half-expected the reveal that he's Charlotte and Dietrich's child, but damn it still felt like I was hit by a damn truck. Like... he's just a kid. He's just a little guy who's stuck there. I need those demons (mansion demon and Johannes) to perish already. <<less
