had to lock in to read this, it’s unlike the other books in this list bc it’s more realistic, it can get a little confusing... more>> at times keeping up with all of the schemes going on (at least for me) but it’s not bad.  not super toxic from what i remember it’s more just the FL trying to survive. okay read  <<less

Genuinely the worst one on this list, the ML’s horrible and unnaturally cruel. He truly tortures the poor girl, nothing romantic about this it’s literally just torture. The FL goes completely insane and attempts to commit su*cide multiple times, it’s super sad bc she started as the kindest person ever in the beginning, all she wanted to do was become a teacher and help children but the ML stole all of that away from her and either killed or isolated all of her close friends and family.Atp the only reason I’m reading it is to see how it ends, one of the only books that has ever disturbed me like this. idk how people can... more>> sit down and read this and enjoy it, like truly enjoy seeing this poor girl have everything taken from her and become a shell of her former self it’s horrifying.

*the ending is also horrible, throughout the book if u ever think things will get better for the FL they won’t they only ever get worse it’s horrible to see 

the only reason i read this is bc someone said it was like the best thing they ever read and they always compare other ML’s to Ulrich..yeah pack it up bud he’s 100% the worst on this list worse than Nathaniel from obey me
