Finally... after all these years, I've found someone else who also hates this disturbing 'raise a kid just to marry him/her in the future' trope I hate how common it is, especially in CN novels for some reason (or maybe it's just that I read more CN novels?), and g*ooming is treated like peak romance by some people who definitely haven't touched grass in decades. I remember writing a review where I called out the fl for g*ooming the ml in several lifetimes, picking him up as an orphan child and even as a newborn, nibbling on his ear when he was f*cking 7 years old, and I still get angry dms on here from the diehard stans of that popular novel for daring to speak a word against their 'comfort read'. Yikes.

I really wish this was taken more seriously, even 'separating fiction from reality' has its limit, fiction is written by real people with real beliefs that affect the real world and I doubt someone who's fantasising about literal children is sane in the slightest. Portraying it as something normal and even romantic isn't helping the real victims of g*ooming and ab*se.

I'm ashamed to admit this but I've read 8, was a fan 3 and 1 is on my reading list. Most of them I read cause the manhwa (manga) was pretty. I had just started reading webnovels  and liked what everyone liked. NU needs and update to change the rating. I'm an evolving human, like let me erase my mistakes.
