Continuation of untranslated novels

09/2023 - 喜上眉头 - from the same author as 如意事, ML and FL are both reborn. ML was the emperor and FL was the empress, ML died young from overworking, and the FL lived to an old age as the empress dowager. Their relationship wasn't one of love. They were courteous to each other and had an amiable relationship but there was no passion. So the ML seeks to resolve that and wishes for her to live the life she deserves which meant ending up with someone he thinks she truly loves but jokes on him. The author wrote, "The premise of everything should be respect." And that is literally ML. He respects and truly supports the FL without being overbearing. He was a gentleman through and through. The novel was heartwarming but also had its funny moments. The author really knows how to make you invested in the side characters too, everyone was three-dimensional so you were invested to see how their story played out. Loved everything from this author so far!

Books that have not been translated at all and turned out to be great (for those that are ok with MTL)..will continue to add on to the list as I stumble onto more novels 

帝師大人，你娘子太毒了- the manhua "Don't Mess With My Mom" on bilibili comics is actually based on this story

玉无香 

 嫡长女她又美又飒 - this one was highly rated on the site so I had to check it out. The beginning made me a bit skeptical, but it was really good once things started escalating. I can see why this is highly rated. A rebirth story with a strong female lead that's a general. In settings like this, women are always seen as the weaker s*x compared to men and they're not expected to do much. And even if they're strong in these novels, there's a common tendency to have the ML be even stronger than she is or they often need to be rescued by them. But the FL in this novel is an anomaly to this and she is truly on an equal footing with the ML. Strong, decisive and does she what she needs to do to achieve her goal. ML is there to exchange ideas and mutual assistance. They both don't let their feelings for each other get in the way of their goal. But it is veryyy long 

娘子万安- I'm really liking this one so far. FL was unfairly mu*dered at the hands of her fiance/husband's family and she is reborn into a girl that's known to be mentally challenged but in a loving family that is coincidentally related to her ex-fiance's family. It's honestly not a revenge story thus far bc refreshingly enough the ex fiancé is actually not a bad guy things are not black and white. Instead, it very much comes across like a detective/unraveling conspiracy type of novel. She tries to help her family out of a conspiracy while using her "mentally challenged" image as a cover. She and the ML is super intelligent and honestly, everything (the interactions + the plot-- for ex, instead of suddenly becoming normal again she wants to slowly show her family she's recovering) makes sense. Loving family and it's looking like the romance between the two will be very sweet ^^ And it's actually quite humorous LOL If you like Butterfly's Shadow Beneath the Moon's novels you will like this

喜遇良辰 - from the same author as above. I like it and both the ML and FL is reborn together and from the beginning, they work together. 

06/2023 - 齐欢 - from the same author as above as well. Rebirth historical story. A lot of mu*ders and political intrigue that the FL tries to analyze and solve that ties into a bigger conspiracy. 

03/2023- 医妻三嫁 - a transactional relationship so far, no misunderstandings and it's comical. both FL and ML know their boundaries and doesn't let others take advantage of them and you can see that the FL wears the pants in the relationship haha -- update: honestly this is nonsensical in the way that they're always killing everyone that gets in their way without any repercussions and always winning in the end. will drop it altho i might skim just to see where this goes

04/2023- 墨桑 - highly rated so I had to check it out. Just started it but it comes off as a palace intrigue novel that's well-written. The FL is an amnesiac transmigrated killer(?) who is cool, straightforward, intelligent, chivalrous, and more than capable of getting what she wants based on her own abilities.  Looking like the ML falls for her first LOL she has no interest in him as of now and just wants to live her life - update: have this on hold for now and tbh idk if i would finish

04/2023- 心动预警 - modern romance between a director and actress

05/2023 - 两分熟 - author of "intense love". Modern romance, college couple that broke up due to circumstances and gets back together later. Fencing world champion x celebrity 

05/2023- 他站在时光深处 - so far I like it. Modern romance of a surgeon x anesthesiologist. I like the way the author writes. Altho I do think some pacing of the flashbacks can be better overall I'm enjoying it thus far. I see that she has other works that are popular so I might check those out

05/2023- 乘鸾- really good. historical romance with a supernatural touch that keeps you guessing. The story pacing is really good and so far nothing feels like a filler and its a page turner for me thus far - same author as Phoenix Destiny here on this website

06/2023- 结婚而已 - the sudden marriage between the two is obviously in real life not believable but it's a sweet modern-day romance! A bit comedic too. FL is a smart woman with her own career and ML is the founder of his company but he started with nothing 

06/2023 - 向银河靠近 - same author as above ^ modern day romance between FL who is a new pilot and ML who is an established pilot. ML falls for her first and chases her. another easy going sweet read

07/2023 - 如意事 - FL is reborn to when she was younger and she wants to save her family. Some of the story's twists are easily foreseen due to a lot of foreshadowing on the author's part but I love how heartwarming and funny her family is. The general grandfather especially indulges in her and he is the pillar of the family. I was invested in some of the side characters as well.  Will look into other novels by this author
