Many unlimited flow recommendations! List is sorted based off of my personal rating. I believe that all of these novel are first-class, that doesn't mean they are though. Boys love, Shounen Ai and Yaoi. Fun MCs and chill MLs. Mostly 1v1 novels. Mostly Chinese BL. This is international BL.

These are all BL I would most definitely will- and have -reread.

Small disclaimer; As I'm in poor health, I may occasionally write incomplete summaries/reviews for certain novels or not rank them. It will be explicitly stated if I have done so. I would also like to note that oftentimes I may go off on a rant- this is due to my hyper-fixation on unnecessary details resulting from frustration. I usually end up deleting those rants from my summaries.

MTL vs Translation;... more>>

MTLing this sucks, but is recommended. The previous translator for this quit because of some reasons, and therefore there's a new translator. Personally, I prefer MTLing alongside reading the new translation instead of reading just the new translation. I really appreciate the new translator for translating this novel and they did a very good job with their choice of words but unfortunately they either intentionally or unintentionally omitted some parts of the novel (random parts like a fight sequence or the like). They've also gotten a few of the characters names wrong and mixed up the perspectives, but again; they translated it and they worked hard.

--------------------Complimenting the New translator and talking about slight misogynistic undertones;

The main thing I appreciate a lot about the new translation by Mr. Hollywood, is that they 'down-played' any misogynistic statement. For example; The original text mentioned later on in the book that there's a small population of women because girls are weak-willed and sensitive. Mr. Hollywood elegantly rephrased the sentence to mean that although their is now a smaller ratio of women to men, it's because most women are more gentle in nature and sensible, not able to take violent action against others. It's not a significant difference but the elegant rewording does make it easier to ignore any misogynistic statements. It's strange though that any misogynistic statements were made at all considering two members of the main cast are strong, independent women who've proved themselves more than worthy and are even considered more brave and dashing than alot of the male cast.

Official summary;

A strange phenomenon fell down from the sky and aliens came over Earth.

Office nerd Fu Shiwu’s life was turned upside down, but luckily for him, Tang Xuhai, his fierce and powerful neighbour whom he wasn’t exactly on good terms with, took him on a journey to escape.

But Fu Shiwu could never imagine that halfway through the escape, this unbreakable man turned out to carry a steel plate in his body, which brought on an infection and sent him into a deadly fever.

In order to save him, Fu Shiwu, a white-collar elite who couldn’t even restrain a chicken, had to bite the bullet and go all out on the unknown terror waiting outside.

In this apocalypse, people survived with all sorts of tricks.

By having IQ, having muscles, or hugging the right thighs!

In order to compete for resources and talents, they also had to exhibit their character, flaunt their morals and push their very limits.

Fu Shiwu and Tang Xuhai’s team would like to implicitly express that: They definitely had all the above “virtues”.

This is a story with zero rebirth, zero transmigration, zero system, but still the right amount of golden fingers to pave a new way for humanity.

Fantasy Horror Shounen Ai Supernatural Yaoi

(I'm too upset right now to finish this review, I hate the recent chapters)- I really despise when novels TURN into pure dog blood or spreading sugar (romance/cliche) without any plot whatsoever:

It's REALLY similar to 'Paintings of Terror' (most similar), 'Matryoshka off limits', 'I opened a shop in the nightmare world' and 'Stop pretending to be a cute newcomer!'. It's like a lovechild of the 4, in all the best ways- inheriting the best characteristics of each novel to make it's own unique one, until chapter 200 that is.

Started off banger. Around the 200th chapter and 7th instance it started losing momentum. Main character is becoming uncharacteristically flirty. It's turned very cliche and dog blood now, each instance turning easier than the last. Originally I found this novel too be the most intriguing one I've read til date; all because of our MC, Xie YinXue. He's cold-hearted, willing to sacrifice even his beloved Godson and the ML for immortality yet he's also (occasionally) sympathetic enough to not let people he deems innocent or naive suffer- such as novices. He doesn't have the capability to be attached to people, as explained early on in the book, as a result of the heavens. This leads him to act only on whim, treating people however he wants.

Disclaimer:

Although this novel has a lot of strong female characters- like Chen Yun, who literally carries all participants to clear a instance- and is written by a female author there's (a lot of) misogyny in it. Especially with the constant and consistent reminder that females are weak and need protection. A quote from the novel "Among all the participants, Zhan Meng seemed the strongest. If even he found the stones heavy and challenging to lift, then mining would be even harder for the others, especially the female participants who might not have as much strength as the men." This is still reasonable but somewhere in the novel the MC decides to protect a group of participants simply because they're female, leaving the men to die. It's not too prominent but every now and then the author just has to mention how fragile, weak and delicate girls are and how they faint more because they have a weak constitution and are too fragile mentally to look at blood and other such things. When the novel was still well-written, this issue could be overlooked but now (chapter 250) that the novel has practically become glorified dog blood every single flaw in this novel is becoming glaring.Although this novel has a lot of strong female characters- like Chen Yun, who literally carries all participants to clear a instance- and is written by a female author there's (a lot of) misogyny in it.
