The MC is likeable and doesn't have a huge gold finger since due to the butterfly effect things start changing immediately after his resurrection. This made it more believable and interesting. The ML is good. He is OP, pretty possessive and very loyal. Not my favorite ML I've ever read but he was ok. The son is cute and a sweetie, the extra at the end about him was super cute and could have been its own novel. 

My only complaint about it is that the author can get a bit rambly sometimes. Like you are in the middle of a conversation and all of a sudden the author thinks it is a great time to info dump a whole bunch of background on something mentioned or the person the conversation is taking place with. This makes it seem disruptive and can sometimes make you impatient since you just want to know how the conversation ends. This is a minor thing, maybe more of a personal annoyance. 

The translation is excellent, with very few typos and the flow is great. I love the little explanations being inserted in the paragraph versus being footnotes, it made it easier to read.  <<less

The relationship takes forever to develop. The ML was in a long term, 15 years, relationship with someone else at the start of the book. Mind you that relationship seemed quite toxic and frankly was not good for him. When they finally break-up everyone makes such a big deal of him ending a relationship that was so long. Even the MC refuses to pursue him or even believe that relationship was really over for the longest time simply because of how many year were invested into it. I find that to be quite ridiculous, doesn't matter how long you invest in a relationship if the other person becomes selfish and toxic then good job to you for getting out of there.

Once we move away from that a bit and the ML and MC start dating, the other man just decides come back a couple of times to try and get the ML back. But he comes back like 6 months later, then a year or more later. It makes no sense for you to expect someone to be waiting for you after all that time. Just seemed unrealistic. But even then those encounters were very unsatisfactory, there was opportunity for some well deserved face slapping, but the author never acted out on that.

The last thing I didn't like was how it ended. The "problem" that was thrown in at the end. It seemed to come out of no-where and just made a sweet story sad. I know the author was going for a "we'll be together through better and worse", but as a reader it just felt like needless melodrama.

All in all I finished this quite quickly and I wanted to know what happens next, so definitively worth a read. <<less

This novel is fun. No great innovative plot here, but lots of face slapping and such. Crazy over the top telenovela, with touches of melodrama, and just crazy over the top situations, but if taken for what it is, it is a fun read. 

The ending was a little mehh and rushed, but all in all worth a read.

Update: The extras are better than the ending of the book. Lots of sugar and cuteness.

Update: This has been such a struggle to finish. I am forcing myself because I am so close to the end, but it honestly just got BORING. I love slice of life novels, so the low drama, low plot usually wouldn't bother me. But this novel just didn't capture my attention all the way to the end. It is the typical "ML & MC are so good at EVERYTHING" that there is never any issue. The ABO world plays a minimal role on it at the end. The system is practically non-existent in the later chapters. Their relationship has no conflict (internal or external) but there is also no development, just "bam, I like you, you like me, but we gotta wait to have relations 'cus we are in a serious relationship". There is just nothing to hold your attention.

Lots of fluff, cute and not a lot of plot. Wish the omega had more of a backbone and that he wasn't a young child that falls in love ASAP, would have liked to see some more conflict and plot. But as it is, it is a very fluffy read.  <<less

The main character has such a "gold finger" that you never feel like he is in any danger or that anything will go wrong at any time. The relationship develops and is a done deal in the first few chapters, so no excitement there either. The villains drop dead without the MC doing much about it, so once again nothing all that exciting.

So all in all it does not keep the reader engaged. That being said it is still entertaining enough if you are in the mood for this kind of book and have nothing else to read. <<less

Then once they finally get together it was less interesting, which is quite sad. The author was not able to make their relationship all that endearing or the supernatural going-on all that engaging. So I just finished the main story and have not gone back for the extras, I don't think I ever will.  <<less

Instead I am being hit with social inequalities, sexism, mu*der, mu*der attempt, decapitation, su*cide, stalker, over the top drama, bullying, etc. (there is more). On top of that there is basically no development in the relationship whatsoever. 

I have decided to drop this since I never got interested enough to go back to it. Might decide to finish at some point, but it is unlikely.  <<less

The start is pretty slow. He goes back to one year before the apocalypse. Most novels only go back a few months and then speed through this "preparation" stage. However, in this story we have a whole year, and we are not speeding through at all. I am 20 chapters in and we are still about halfway through that "before" year. Lots of spiritual cultivation, and training, and buying, which are frankly not the most interesting.

The ML has shown up once, but due to the quality of the translation it was a bit hard to understand what was going on. You can kind of deduce things by the end, but mostly there are some big chunks where we are left wondering WTF just happened.

Also, not sure if it is due to the translation or to the original writer, but the MC has some inconsistencies when it comes to his feelings about the ML (before they meet in the second apocalypse). At some point he is saying that he just wants to take care of him and keep him safe and repay the debt he owes. But then he is saying how he misses him and has feelings for him, but then goes back to the original thought of just taking care of him. To be honest going by his past experiences it doesn't make sense for the MC to feel anything other than gratitude for the ML at this point, since their relationship was not particularly romantic in any way; Spoiler (originally the MC was forced to be in a relationship with ML by the ML)

I read another 20 chapters and I am still finding it not that interesting. Have dropped it now for a while. Thinking of going back at some point and trying to read things up to the start of the zombie apocalypse at least, but no rush in doing so. <<less
