I cannot emphasize how much you should try to read welcome to nightmare live. It's ranked so high, currently, in jjwxc just to show how good it is. As a fellow horror enthusiast i can say that it's on par with GHG when it comes to the character development, the feels, the thrill of each game is just so exciting. I might even argue that the games are better in WTNL. And the themes on it is so much more deeper than usual, it explores topics of human nature and dexterity. I'm sad cause the story is very long, more than a thousand chapters, and the good GOOD really juicy parts are are a bit on the latter half of the story, but it hasn't been translated  that much but the mtl was decent.  I can also vouch for how good haunted places live is. It gives a similar feel to ghg but so much angstier and more tragic and is multidimensional w/o the games and stuff, but more on battles between faction. It's more lovecraftian otherwordly horror than typical horror. It's such a new and fresh but also familiar take on the horror bl genre. It also gives of a "doomed by the narrative in every universes and timeline" feels for the main couple, like how ghg is. It's a rlly the whole world is against them vibe. The superpowers are so interesting i've never seen anything liek it yet on danmei. Anyways the author is lianxi lianxi and it's not even her best work yet so pls check some of them out too if u have the time!
