This series is my absolute favourite. The games was so well done~ Idk how to author can write it to be so trilling and fun as well. One of the few series where you can actually figure how win some of the games. Plus there are is also a 'system' + Props + Skills + Apocalypse! The ending/ mystery is also quite unique (the hinting by the author though~) <<less

MC & ML: The MCs are very similar in which they are both indifferent and yet wanting to seek thrill in their life. The MC was enjoying himself so much he wanted to stay there kek.

The games was so thrilling and Interesting! It can really keep you invested even though there is no mind-blowing explanations and puzzles. The highschool instance was so good! Definitely my favourite instance of all-time. The romance was heavenly as well: Enemies to lovers (the best tag); the tension whenever they met, I can't...

MC: fast adaptability, brave, kind

The games in these was very straightforward (kinda aight) but its strength lies within its cast. The characters really grows on you as you read and when they die, you might actually cry a river. You can really feel their desperate struggle to live but yet they... On another note, this series is quite infamous for its surprise reveal, so be ready for a bomb. The main reason why its so high on my list ahahaha.

I felt this was way too long and too short at the same time... :( Love the after-stories though such a nice closing. The series was way too long as it was 600 chapters and I got bored after like 300 chapters. I was not a big fan of the combined instances with all the role-playing and conspiracies. I felt that if it was longer, there might be more singular instances than what we got. The first half was way too good though so I'm gonna keep it this high. <<less

I recently reread this and I have to say this series has a lot of memorable instances. The instances is very different from other survival games and is unique. The solutions to everything is also really fascinating. This is a top tier series but I personally felt that the MC is a bit lacking compared to the other survival series. Not really sure of the reason. <<less

Rather than focusing on the instances, it fixate more on the impact of the system on earth and how humans eventually counter-attack. This was a slow-burn, fun and even boring at times but then the plot hits you like a train... 

This had a lot of potential but I feel it was not fully utilized due to its short built up. However, the games and characters are not strong enough to carry a long story, so I guess it was fine. <<less

This is made by the same author as Card Room (her other works are so good too) so its quite a treat. We only have uni-students in the game world so it much more chill. The people are just generally more kind-hearted and discipline. The atmosphere is so different from other survival games, making it a 'light hearted' read in this genre. The skills and stages are so unique ahahah: they are based on uni courses (I can't) You have skills where you have to use a formula to levitate, sentence people to immobilize them and games where you become a cell and have to split to create an embryo.  Amazing author *bow <<less

Can't resist starting this and now i'm in mtl hell :) This series sure has some complex instances. For the later ones, the entire arc can reach 50ch+... It was pretty good but i'm not super into it hmm. Best arc is still the 'frog' arc hands down. <<less

It definitely feels more like a story arc rather than an instance level due to connection it has with the nightmare world. I also really enjoyed the romance for this one! <<less

Finally found a something decent after searching for so long. The instances have just the right amount of fun and complexity to keep me entertained throughout. However, everything else like the character, story background, game world etc felt a bit neglected. If you just want to read some thrilling death games, this is a great choice: if you are looking for something more, this is not it.... more>>

I like the concept that art is the center of focus and how one has to evaluate it to find the key. Some of the arc was truly interesting and trilling even; however what made me drop it was the characters: I find the MC boring and the ML even more so. Additionally, the variety of games are quite limited with the restriction that forces people to work together: those who don't, just become canon-fodder. The quality of this is high but it is just not for me. <<less
