ICDS has summoning? ... I think he has some elementals, I guess. It's not really the same, imo.
I'd like to add "Only I level-Up/Solo Leveling" for another kind of necromancy - the summons being a primary focus of the novel. "Emperor of Solo Play" for another. ... Hmm.. I can't think of any others offhand. There are tangential novels. Like... "The Amber Sword" features a type of summoning based on cards, sometimes, and the MC of "The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor" has a habit of bringing sculptures to life to fight for him, and even does a stint as a necromancer for kicks and giggles. ... and then a stint as the captain of a ghost ship. But that novel is loooooooooooooooong and the necromancer thing is only a tiny part of it.
Otherwise, hmmm..
Awaken Online is a novel series that isn't on Novel Updates, and features a main character necromancer. I recommend the series a lot for other reasons, too. The MC plays a VRMMO run by an AI that likes to give players intensely personal quests and watch their reactions, and pushes the MC into becoming a bit of a psychopath.
Wake of the Ravager, a novel on Scribblehub, has an interesting take on summoning, too... but it's unfortunately still way too early in writing and there's not much to read.
@Skoll028 where is summoner is going ?
