Actually based on the rating and reviews I should've avoided this but because I want some angst atm I close my eyes and took a dive.

I'm halfway through the novel and I agree with most of the reviews. Wtf is wrong with the ML!?

MC's grandpa and ML's grandma are friends and on grandpa's deathbed he asked grandma to take care of the MC because he will be alone after he left. Grandma was wrong in this but she engaged MC and ML eventho ML doesn't want to just because MC like him.

ML wants to build a friendly relationship first with MC so if ever they realize they're not suitable with each other they can part ways easily. On the otherhand MC actually just wanted to be engaged cause ML is an actor who is often not at home and has many admirers as well as good looking co-workers so just to be secure and has a reason to contact him he is willing and wants to be engaged.

So in MC first life he patiently waited for the ML to build feelings for him and endured ML's alienation and coldness. The last straw that made him stopped loving the ML was when he was dying and the rescuer called the ML, ML didn't even wait for the others to talk and just told him to not disturb him and that he's busy and hung up.

Now in MC rebirth, he gave up and wanted to dissolve the engagement and wanted nothing to do anymore with ML but ML suddenly doesn't want to dissolve the engagement and being delusional that MC is just playing hard to get and wanted his attention. There's also this line here that I really don't get "because I like him, I resist him". I was like, huh!?!?!? It feels like the author is just giving the ML random reason to alienate the MC so ML will chase the MC afterwards.

Author also wrote that ML and MC has good feelings for each other at one point in their childhood but ML forgot BECAUSE he has been popular since he was a child and that episode is just one of those but that moment he actually almost kiss the MC in the lips when they're young but in the show ML doesn't want any kissing scene. It's so contradictory.

He also didn't try to get along with the MC and just avoided him. It was also written that when MC is sick the ML will take care of him and as he take care of him ML feels something but keeps on resisting as he feels like he wa shackled and chain. I just don't get it.

Anyway, it's my POV and you might like it so don't let my rant hinder your desire to read it. You might like it and upto your taste especially if your into ML chasing his wife. <<less

I like the story plot. Some of my favorite genre and tags in one. Transmigration, regression and system are blended together. What I also love is that there's a solid reason and explanation on why there's transmigration and regression.

Ugh, remembering the leads suffering because of selfish reason is really frustrating. Which leads me to why I feel like eventho the story plot is great, the ending or conclusion is somewhat lacking. It's kinda spoiler a little bit but below are some of the things I found lacking:

-- first of all, after the antagonist ran away from loan sharks... that's the end for him. After he ran away, we don't know what happened next. The author just let him ran away and that's the end of him in the story. The author didn't even put a concrete ending like if he died somewhere or did he got caught or anything. It would be great if the author put a satisfying end for that selfish son of a b!txh.

-- the MC's family, his mother cheated and left him and his father for another man and the author didn't even include her in anyway, just narrate that his mother is happy in her new family. So be it but what about his father's side. He was psychologically and verbally ab*se by his stepmother and half brother as well as the relatives from of the stepmother but the author didn't even put any ending of them. Though it's stated that father is regretful for his action, what about the stepmother and half brother who ab*se the MC more than the father who just ignore him? Nothing.

-- same goes with the ML's family, it would have been great if the author put a more depth and background story. Again there's nothing, after the ML passed the entrance exam, he changed number and after that never heard anything from his family again. The ML's half brother and stepmother plotted him again and again but from the ML's side nothing. He just left home and that's it.

Anyway, if you're looking for romance then you can read this one as the author really focused on the leads romantic story. The sweetness and fluffiness are there, the youthfulness is there since the plot setting is from hs to college. <<less

I read some low reviews and just want to explain some of it before others get discourage reading this novel.... more>>

Let me explain first some terms, since this is not omegaverse (so no permanent marking) and the world only has 1 s*x which is male but has 2 gender namely male and 'female' but as the story goes along you'll read transgender as well. Also the setting of this world is that people here can transform into their human and beast form.

Male - are like alpha in omegaverse, they also secrete smell and repel each other and very territorial so they can't be with each other and could only be with 'female'. They could freely transform into their human and beast form.

Beast Female - are like the omegas. Males that has female glands that secrete smell during estrus and attracts male and also has the ability to get pregnant. They lost the ability to transform into their human form and as time goes by degenerate to their beast IQ.

Natural female - almost same with beast female but the difference are they can also freely transform to their human and beast form. Their IQ is normal that's why they could transform freely. They are rare and almost instinct with the setting that the MC is the only known remaining natural female. So they are highly valued by the males.

Transgender - males that are experimented to transform into female. Before they became adult and their glands matured, those organization injected something into their glands that results to their glands dying and halted their growth as male so their appearance looks like 'female'. They are also used for bad deeds and prostitvtion by the organization. They also get mental and physical issue as the time goes by.

So back to the transphobic issue, for me I don't see it as transphobic. Looking it at a different angle cause that's the world setting. Maybe the wrong here is the author's use of word. If the author only give the transgender a different name or call then maybe the others won't see it as transphobic. It's not that they freely went into surgery to change their gender, they are forced under different circumstances. And the process of them is not scientifically proven by the society. So I understand why they are hated in this novel cause instead of being accepted they cause more harm to the society. Plus in the book setting, male repels other males and very territorial so they couldn't be with other males.

For the reviews about preference between male and female, again, that's the book setting. If they finished reading it maybe they could've read that in other planets the female dominates the male and they value their male cause male there are much weaker than female.

Anyway, that's it for me about the novel's issue.

If you're into fluff then this is for you with their beast form especially the cubs in later part. <<less
