MC doesn't have an OP ability and only know how to cook. So don't expect any action pack scenes in the novel. Most scene are the leads daily life of surviving the harsh environment while looking for a safe place to live. 

Romance is ok. It's there but not too sweet that will gave you toothache. Well that's for me, maybe for you it'll be sweet enough to gove you toothache so don't let my POV about romance discourage you to read this.

One of the things I found lacking is about Huang Yuan and Ryan. I don't know if I skipped it or not but I'm pretty sure I didn't but I did hope the author gave them an extra chapters or two cause their story is also intriguing. For spoiler:

Ryan and HY is on the road of being a couple when suddenly Ryan's wild ex appear bringing disaster to everyone. Ryan's ex save Ryan's life before so Ryan is very thankful to his ex causing HY leave cause he cannot stand them (anyways you should read it to understand well). So what I feel lacking is how the Ryan and HY reconcile. It's just that in extra chapters they're already a couple. Would've been great if the author write an extra chapter for them.  <<less

They said that MC is s*upid, naive and childish. So I'll give you a summary about the MC.

MC is an orphan who got adopted for the sake of the biological son who is sick and need donor in case his health got worse. MC knew about it but still grateful and love his foster family cause even tho their reason is dark, they still show him love and doesn't force him at all. So MC knew that he will one day die in an operating table. He is a neet and earn a living by writing novels and also his foster family sends him allowance.

So being naive and childish, I presume it's because of his back story. For s*upidity, I really don't know, I don't see him s*upid at all. And for the review about him not eating a seasoned wolf meat. Not all can stomach to eat something you saw killed infront of you with lots of corpse in the area. For some people It's hard to swallow something they saw moving a while ago and died infront of them in a gore way.

The plot is actually good. The MC and ML is not actually the most powerful. MC is not OP at all and the only thing he has advantage of is he knows the plot which by the way was change as time goes by. The twist about the leads are good. I just hope that author wrote an extra chapter for the OG protagonist and what happened to him as well as an extra chapter for the other characters like the first demon king. I want to know their story actually and what happen to them afterwards. <<less

MC transmigrated in a Ger's body, he is from an apocalyptic times with space ability which he carried when he transmigrated. Don't worry no OP ability was used here. MC barely used his space ability in this story, he mostly used the magic spring water in his space to cure and accelerate the body's healing ability. The magic water isn't OP at all, again it just accelerate the healing ability and doesn't totally heal the body after consuming it.

If you want a light read without so much dog blood drama, try this novel. This novel is all about the MC's life with his husband and kids, as well as the people around him.

I know that one of the cannon fodder Liao Jiao (i think) is bad for adultery but I kinda feel good about his ending.

Would have been better to see some retribution of Li Laosan and Li Ama and father. Knowing that nobody in them are working hard I wonder how they survive.  <<less

For the low rating review that says MC is naive. Yes he is kinda but I want to justify some of it. 

--First is 'he has 10 yrs of experience'. Yes he has but take note that he is not a fighter. He is a farmer before he regress. He lived with his friend in a basement before they were able to get in S base which he became a farmer. So that experience is not about fighting or advance science but experience in farming. 

--Second is about weapons, he has millions of money and didn't buy weapons. Uhmm I think those reviews forgot that you can't buy many weapons in peaceful times. How can he buy weapons? Tho he did get bow and arrows and that's it.

--Third, ability power. Again it was described that ability power user aren't many. When they first established the base, there are only 5 abilty user among thousands of people so it's understandable if the knowledge about them is only among those bigshots in the base and MC as a normal person is bound inside the safe zone of the base so he has never encountered any ability user in his past life.

Anyway, this is a light story in apocalyptic times. Base building and food management is the main point. 

Romance is there. ML is like a creepy stalker at first but at the so story progress he became a pe*vert, LOL. 

My issue is about the MC's past that wasn't explained like how he died and his dream that looks like his past but he can't remember and also how he regress. There's also a part where he became strong as well but wasn't explained like it was told in passing.

Again this is a light story, if you want something better with same plot I suggest you read "the reborn otaku code" something. I actually read both but haven't listed the otake code as apocalypse isn't my cup of tea. i haven't finished reading the otaku code eventho I first started it cause I got bored same with this one but because this has fewer chapter I was able to force myself to finish this. Don't get discourage with what I said, it's me forcing myself to read something that isn't my cup of tea that's why I got bored. If it's your cup of tea then maybe you'll like it more than I did.  <<less

The ML has mental health problem and seeing a doctor after the MC died so I understand some of his actions like lying so the MC won't leave him. Then ML locked the MC at home when he tried to leave. Also how the MC forgave the ML easily. Those are the reasons why the ratings in NU are low. Again, he has mental health problems after the MC died and even svicidal so I understand his actions. 

There's a cute pair of twins for the fluff. Also the side characters' story at the extra chapters is also cute, the AA pair of Li Chengyan and Xie Yu. <<less

It's about a sickly genius boy who transmigrated into the danmei novel his senior read. He chose to be with the villain instead of the protagonist s*um gong. I don't want to spoil so I don't want to tell the unexpected thing at the later chapter. 

There's also the psychological problem of the ML about the past events. The only con I see in this is I think the ending is abrupt like we need to end this soon so think of something to speed it up and the author come up with a ridiculous set up. Well with AI in the later story, the solution they think is aligned with it for futuristic setup but for me it's kinda ridiculous. Still you might want to read it cause the overall story is ok. <<less

I want to talk about that scene, about the adult version but I don't want to spoil but they're really emotional and will make you cry. There's romance but not to much but it's ok cause those babies fill everything up. Agh my kokoro, I will miss them.

Btw, it says completed but the side story feels like not cause it stopped without conclusion and also the author's note which made me disappointed cause I really want to see Nick's humanoid form as well while he still a cub so MC could carry and hug him like others.

Anyways back to the novel. It's about a 19yr old boy who has cong**ital sickness and later died. He was given a chance to live again with a mission to change the fate of the villain aka the ML. And of course along the way he was able to transform into human and gain different abilities to finished his mission. What I wasn't able to understand is how his parents got transmigrated again or they weren't transmigrated and was in the same universe actually. This novel is about two guys who had been reborn. One used it to avoid death and the other used it to attain power and strength but in the end pave way for the other. The other reborn is one of the ML while the other is the s*upid antagonist. The other ML is a transmigrator.

Edit: just scrolling and changing my reading list when I read this review. I think my explanation above is kinda confusing so I'm trying to explain it again.

There are 2 person who got reborn. One is the MC, who used his past knowledge to avoid death and the other is the antagonist, who used his past knowledge to gain powerband strength but instead pave way to the MC. The ML is a transmigrator.

It's probably me but romance is meh. No smvtty scene, even kissing is like he kiss him and he kiss him back. I don't feel excited so romance is meh for me. <<less

Then there's also Leng Yang, I don't want to spoil much but if you read some of the reviews in NU you'll see his name and who they thought he ended up with. But according to the translator Leng Yang has a different series on his own titled "The President is Destined To Be Lonely". I tried checking but it seems like it's not translated yet, don't know if the raw is already completed or not. 

Anyway, the smut is good. I mean it's hot and detailed but for me it's not enough. Anyway maybe it's on me and maybe you'll find it good. <<less

It's like the alpha is totally an O in every aspect but the author just pinned him as alpha and so is the the omega who is an A but labeled him an omega for the sake of reverse gender role of the novel. My explanation is kinda messy but I hope you get what I'm saying.

The story is sweet, no heavy drama and smooth sailing for both of them. The best part is the baby whom I didn't expect at all given that they have a reverse role. So I leave it here for you to guess how they could have a baby and yes it's their biological baby.  <<less

The MC did get revenge on those who wronged him tho not in overly dramatic kinda revenge that he k!lled people. Mostly are, since it's a rebirth, just preventing people from succeeding like in his past life. While in the ML side is the one who killed someone. 

Anyway, it's short and if it's long, the author could've put more details on their love story and other side characters like the ML's divorced friend and the MC's manager. What happened to ML's doctor friend. What about the MC's love rival.

If you know the basic gameplay of LOL, you'll definitely understand this novel. If not, it might bored you as big part of the novel is LOL gameplays in the tournament which I actually enjoyed. It feels like I'm actually watching a live tournament while I'm reading this novel which I find entertaining and makes me want to go back watching LOL Livestream.

Love story is smooth and good. I just thought that it would be more fluffy if the author gave MC more interaction with ML's parents.

Overall, for me who enjoys watching LOL Livestream before, this novel is entertaining, funny and sweet. <<less

If you're looking for a mystery, revenge and counterattack type of story in a novel then this is a go-go. Why? Cause me a person who likes romance got hooked in reading and finishing the main story. The MC and ML are not an OP kind of leads that has gold fingers. Especially the MC that regressed cause eventho he knows the future, he realized that there are more depths and secrets behind the deaths of his family. That the person who he thought is the mastermind is actually just a pawn as well so I got hooked and have to know who the fvck is the big boss.

For consolation for romance fanatic, the extra chapters are dedicated to the leads' romantic story. Uhmm not gonna lie I didn't finished the extra chapters tho, I don't know, I felt that it's only dragging. Welp that's me so give it a try maybe it'll hook you up as well and you might like the extra story unlike me. :p 

Extra story is from what I read has 3-4 parts:

- the after story of the leads or cohabitation story

- the story if the ML in the past... Spoiler so meh

- the story if the MC's family didn't die

- the other that I haven't finished cause I got bored so I don't know if there's more. 

So yeah, give it a try. I got hooked by the mystery and psychological aspect. The trauma of the MC and how the people around him handle him. So that's one of the best part of this story, the MC's family and friends died and left so his trauma seeing his loved ones dies one by one in front of him gave him psychological trauma that he carried back when he regressed. That's why the title is "little madman" cause he basically became madman so he can predict his enemies next move to counterattack. Am I saying too much? I think I did.. oh well that's it from me. <<less

There should also be psychological tag in here as both sides faced some psychological problems.

Things that aren't clarified or felt rushed:

- ML's mom sickness in the past

- MC's stepmom, where's the retribution?

- ML's grandpa, the one that I thought would be the biggest obstacle was just casually put to an end like that. It's just disappointing that in the past the MC and grandpa is close but after regression it felt like they're not that close and rushed. <<less

The satisfying part for me is when the s*umbag ex saw his first love again and found out that he pretended to be soft and gentle to use him. And that he regrets wronging the MC who is the true gentle and soft person but the best satisfying part is.... I don't want to spoil much but it's really not that big part I think I can spill the tea... If you don't want to know then please skip the part below.

So the ML was bullied and there was a time he was left behind a warehouse and thought he will die there but fortunately the MC found him while trying to look for a stray dog to rescue. From then on he copy the MC's temperament and that's when the s*umbag fell for him.

In short, the s*umbag, who used the MC as a substitute and was still looking for his first love and also recruiting people who looked like his first love to use as well, really fall in love with the MC temperament. The irony and regrets he felt when he found out about it so fvcking satisfying.  <<less
