The MC was narrating the story as if he was talking about someone else's life. But mind you, you'll be the one feeling the frustration, irritation, desperation, struggle, and dedication that the MC is low-key feeling and narrating throughout he novel. ML is not a s*um but he has a shitty personality for sure. Don't worry, this novel has the right combination of dogblood and dog food.  <<less

When I was reading this it felt too familiar. Then it just took me by surprise to know afterwards that it's the new work of... more>> the author of No One Saved Me. Although I still loved the angst that it brought me and left my pillow stained with tears but I didn't feel any lingering attachment towards the characters unlike the ones from the author's other works. Though, I still highly recommend it for a quick angst read.  <<less
