      @FlippyFlop seconding Game Director from hell, I think it's the closest to your request for actual game development. "Conquering the Other World starts with a Game" is very similar to "This Game is Too Realistic" and "Game of the World Tree". "Cultural Invasion in a Different World" has a few segments with game dev but it broadly covers all media types.

    God Level Game Designer. Found this one when I finished Almighty Game Designer years ago. Currently just mtl with no nu page, but honestly pretty good.

    Try losing money to be a tycoon! Protagonist creates bad games on purpose but accidentally makes it really good! (Eventually strays into other businesses but a good chunk is game development/design)

      Ah, I knew I was missing something! Yes I've read it before, I think I dropped it after he started going hard into the food branches. But it was very fun while it lasted.
