It wasn’t one of those domineering must conquer the world type things. This was just a really well paced laid-back book. I loved the ML though like being able to see into his thoughts was so great. I don’t think I would’ve enjoyed this book as much if it did not have some of his POV.  <<less

I loved this. I am such a sucker for an OP MC With this type of personality, this was very much in the same line as everyone knows I’m a good person. I did start to get bored around the 10th world and at that point I felt like each world was lasting a little too long, but I find that seems to be common among the longer running QT novels. But still, I truly enjoyed the dynamic between the MC and the ML and I am absolutely going to go read the sequel. It looks like the sequel is an unlimited flow. But honestly, I really think they did a good job with this... more>> dynamic. It also could just be. I enjoyed all the tropes. Plus OMG the freaking guide was the top in the guideverse, enough said.

It’s more just the feeling. I got while reading this. I enjoyed the romance. I enjoyed each of the world. I didn’t feel that they were scary, but they definitely had atmosphere. I kind of wish instead of having to go through the background of the big bad that I could’ve actually learned more about some of the side characters relationships like I would’ve loved maybe two chapters devoted to a couple of exam or like an alternative universe devoted to some of the ghosts that were extinguished throughout the plot  but overall  this was good. Also, I have no idea about why some of the reviews were saying this was a BE it was not. The HE is resolved in the last chapter of the book and then has three full chapters of extras. And honestly, there’s so much foreshadowing that you know this is not going to end with a BE. <<less

I don’t think everyone will view these as kids, but they’re the age group that they could be my kids so for me I view them as adorable children. I also really enjoyed that the MC did not focus on revenge. This is not a face slapping story. It’s a story about how the MC changes his life to try to find happiness. I adored how clueless MC was about the ML‘s feelings and it’s just the relationship is so cute. I cannot say that enough it’s adorable. I’m hoping that the ending doesn’t go flat but even if it does, the buildup is good so I would reread this. <<less

But I did enjoy the characters. The side characters were fun if dumb as far as their intelligence level and they were fun to watch interact. Regarding the plot, I don’t know if it’s a brain issue on my part where I just didn’t understand it because it was too complex or if it was an author issue or a translation issue the translation was great though, so I’m leaning towards an author or in all honesty was probably just I didn’t get it so I did skim some things cause there was no way I was understanding what was happening. All in all, I actually enjoyed this the bits of humor that were given the different instances the relationships between the players I liked all of it. I actually wish there was more interpersonal relations, and I’m hoping that things get wrapped up more in the extras. <<less

If I didn’t have a thing for OP, frivolous and shameless characters I don’t think I could read this again. The story was good everything actually got wrapped up. I was surprised because a lot of stuff that didn’t need to be. There was introduced in the story but it all got wrapped up face slapping was pretty low-key bad guys got what they deserved. Good guys got good things overall the story really is about the MC and his interactions with the ML. They throw a lot of other stuff in there but like it’s really just unnecessary or maybe not unnecessary but it doesn’t stick in your mind quite as much as how shameless the MC is. It was a really fun. Read to see the next thing he was gonna do. Super OP however like you know, this guy has no problems. I would reread but like my God I don’t know about that website. It was so bad. I read everything on my phone. That’s the only Internet I have and like this is just not mobile friendly. Not to mention you get a big warning on every single page to turn off Ad Blocker. I don’t even have it on because I really want to translators to be able to get whatever they can but like this one’s just aggressive and it’s in your face and it’s so offputting. It can definitely take you out out of the immersion and if you’re like me and bad with names it’s confusing definitely in a couple places were a bunch of new people are introduced all at once was not fun and it was very confusing. However, I enjoyed the book despite all of that the MC is very very OP the ML is very much kind of a mystery like you don’t really know about him. You don’t learn. It’s all told but I still enjoyed it and I enjoyed the interactions with people. I don’t think character personalities really stay consistent or maybe they do and then this is just an unreliable narrator in certain areas. But overall it was fun. I don’t know if I would reread this more than once it’s not gonna be on my yearly list but I enjoyed it enough to do it again. The extras are not complete but you’re safe to stop after the first extra and it’s practically perfect. I think the second extra also is totally fine but I would not read the third extra until it’s complete because that just leaves you hanging. <<less

And I guess that means the author did a good job because at one point they even stated that the person didn’t do it because of those reasons they just did it because they s**ked, but I don’t know this whole book was basically just about the wonderful relationship between the MC and the ML but they really tried to get involved with the backgrounds of the people that had caused harm to the MC and made it this big huge plot that was kind of funny cause it was never really that big of a deal like it was horrible And they never said it wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t the point of the story and it was never made to feel like a big point of the story so then I just have such a letdown. I don’t know it made everything else feel cheap like why bother putting it in here. The story would have been just as good without all the villainous behavior and having the tragic background happen just because sometimes tragedy happens and still having the whole surprise of the MC’s identity occur there’s plenty of stories like that so yeah I don’t know. The whole villain thing was just really pointless and distracted from the charms that were the strong points of the story which was the relationship. Going over the relationship it did get a little bit boring sometimes but not often in overall it’s just a nice very sweet tooth decay silly story. I still read this as fluffy. Not a lot of brain power needed to understand what’s going on which is why I was reading the background in the tragedies And the awful people in the MC’s life is minor like they never were any main part of this story. Overall, I would still reread this for the MC and the ML’s relationship. <<less
