I really cried so so much in some scenes. And bear in mind I am literally just using my browser translating tool lol, so I imagine a proper translation would be more emotional. Anyway, to me anything that makes me properly sob is great so I think this is a pretty good novel, but I haven’t finished it yet so I am not 100% sure (I think I’m in c94 or around that). Oh also, you can clearly tell there will be a ML when you start it but idk why the description makes no mention of him lol, anyway I like that couple. I don’t generally like CEO MLs but this doesn’t use some of the most tiring tropes of like girls being jealous or whatever.  <<less

I’m starting this (keeping up with the translations) and well I love myself a socially anxious character. Obviously there aren’t enough chapters to say much but I hve 2 observations. 1 is that I’m glad that the space acquisition was wrote in a more detailed realistic(?) way, after reading another space apocalypse novel that is also in this list I realized how those descriptions are necessary bc in the other novel it was somewhat brushed off and described pretty quickly. Here at least they write her thought process, how she discovers it and tests it, etc. nothing new but I appreciate it. Like, she uses the MC’s name a bit too much, almost every other sentence has her name, it makes it look a bit amateurish, for example:

After a full day's work, tired Wen Qian simply boiled some noodles and added lots of side dishes.

Only after eating her fill did Wen Qian remember the stuff she put in her space for experiments.

She discovered the frozen meat she put in was still frozen solid, while the cup of hot water she took out still burnt her hands with its scalding temperature.

Actually, the more I read the more ridiculous I think it is lol, in like every aspect it’s just as if the author makes it up as they go (so many historical inaccuracies plus inaccuracies in everything they mention, that’s not how many things mentioned work, but seriously… it’s kind of a historical mess lol, like everything about the foreigner). Plus since the beginning I felt it was weird how she whitewashed her parents that dr*gged her and lead to the OG host to die, and she blamed her (fake) friend for inciting the oriFL on not wanting to marry the ML, and sure she was at fault but she’s like wuwuwu my parents I love them sm and the mom is also like I wronged you in different situations except for drugging her? and like when the MC is pregnant she panics so much over it, understandable but they literally drugged the oriFL to death and they never acknowledged that lol, well obviously they don’t know she died but isn’t it weird how they just shrugged it off and the MC too! Like it’s ok she doesn’t mind but I don’t think the parents drugging her and insisting on the marriage is consistent with the parents shown later. Also, her family is kinda annoying imo, but the MC indulges them so that’s on her too.

Also, it’s kinda weird how she doesn’t want to change history like that by killing the emperor but hasn’t she already brought a lot of change by introducing new things to that era? I’d say the emperor dying 2 years earlier would be less impactful than bringing modern crops to ancient china (and crops that are native to other undiscovered continents like the americas lol).  <<less

I blindly picked it up, then I saw the ratings were pretty bad lol (back then it was 2.x iirc), but up until where I was left it was pretty fine. I'm just gonna add this here now before I forget it because this will probably be my last novel of the year so I guess I won't update this list again, I don't feel like reading anything new and I have a lot to catch up with when I finally want to read more. As for this novel I probably won't be reading it, it seemed decent to kill some time though, if I find myself bored and wanting to read a novel I could pick it up again but idk, it's gonna take a while until I get to this, I'm so behind the other novels I was reading. There's a fair share of things that make me raise my eyebrow as it often happens with childcare (+ entertainment) novels, but I guess it doesn't matter considering the type of novel it is. Just sit and enjoy, at the end of the day it's just another escapism novel, and it's pretty good at it with the MC offering fun wholesome services.  <<less

It’s not like a traditional novel with a chronological story, it’s more like little moments shared by the author as she looks back into her relationship with her partner. I guess in a way it can help the reader learn more about love as they learn about someone else’s love story and you get a glimpse of a healthy relationship’s dynamics.  <<less

There’s just so much you can do with 74 chapters though, I feel that the ending was a bit rushed but maybe the rush was in my head because I stayed up late to finish it since it was short, but yeah… it’s still a solid novel I guess, it was pretty fun. Edit: I MTLed it up until chapter 129, unfortunately the 130th one is messy on mtlnovel and I just cba to look it up somewhere else. I think it’s been a fun adventure novel, I’d recommend to just read the translation but to save it up to read it in a sitting, otherwise you might forget it, so I recommend waiting a bit. I’m not sure if that would disappoint some people, I was thinking I’d see some melodrama but nope. There isn’t much left, idk if I should finish it or just wait until the translation is done and re read it, it’s a fun novel that I wouldn’t mind reading again plus I’m only understanding like 80% of it lol.

Ummm tbh it is somewhat entertaining but after +50 chapters I figured there are better things to read, this is more of a mindless read. It’s kinda fluffy but idk if the 240 chapters are worth your time. If you are craving an innocent FL x possessive ML this can do the trick, generally that dynamic feels a bit iffy to me but if the characters are happy then whatever, I don’t mind it but everyone keeps repeating how the FL is so childlike and well… she really is. But yeah, I found it cute, I just feel that it’s kind of a waste of time, maybe another time I want to kill more time I could keep going but it doesn’t really have much of a deep plot I think (well obviously there is a plot, otherwise it wouldn’t be so long, but idk it doesn’t seem like anything groundbreaking), but it’s entertaining enough. <<less

Now that’s what I’m talking about! What a nice novel! Definitely of the best ones I’ve read this year and it never got disappointing. Since the beginning I was enjoying it and laughing and all until the last chapter it was a pleasant experience. I even found it quite wholesome, it’s a good one. I wasn’t expecting much of it and I always skipped this novel whenever I saw it because I thought it’d be yet another CEO novel but this was surprisingly great. Since they swap bodies there’s no real misunderstanding since they basically share everything. Also, they complement each other well which you could tell by the description but it’s nice to see... more>> that the two leads are equal in footing, it’s not the ML being in control as it often happens with CEO novels, maybe in the beginning it seems that he’s the decision maker but soon you see how they complement each other and how they both are just as capable. 

Also, this is irrelevant I guess but I liked how they didn’t censor city names, most novels do and I guess it’s easier to imagine everything when they actually say the cities. <<less
