It's nice, lately I've been into these kind of stories and this scratched the itch, it has extras with two side stories in alternate universes and I actually ended up liking the modern CEO one more lol, it was funny, maybe I'll go back to reading CEO novels... For example there's a scene where someone hires some men to deal with the MC and after she calls the police on them and gives them a box "for their employer", it obviously wasn't going to be a good thing so idk why they even gave it to him, it was a spring-loaded fist that hit him that also had some dirty talk audio that embarrassed him. What did he and his subordinates think it could've been? bfr. But yeah, it's just a silly story like that. I guess the humor / style can get tiring but that's really up to the reader. Oh they are sooo in love and it's full of dog food. I liked it, especially the moment when they fell in love, it was so cute! That giddy feeling is contagious. You basically get the satisfaction of the original novel and the fluffiness + angst of a romance drama. The story in general was well worth the read, although I liked it better at the beginning before some of the angst happened, but it was fine, I guess it makes the love story more impactful and beautiful and highlights their devotion and deep feelings, but I was expecting pure fluff and face slapping, although I guess I could see something coming, but at least... more>> it wasn't a cliché car accident which was what I thought would happen.

The only thing that isn't really an issue with the plot or anything was 1) she would introduce fruits from the other world to her own world and brought a plant from her world... ever heard of invasive species? I felt that was a bit reckless 2) the ear-fold cat thing was a bit weird to me because she herself was talking about how that breed was due a genetic mutation and they suffered and whatnot and she literally bought the cat from a pet shop... thus supporting the industry. They gave the breed a "happy ending" though but idk (spoiler at the bottom), I just kept thinking it was weird that she'd buy it despite thinking that the breed suffered. But those were basically my only icks, and the lack of more chapters haha, I often skip the extras because I get tired of the novel by the end, but this one really needs them because I need more, but I guess it was fine this way too, I really liked this novel a lot, I think I might reread in some years, it was worth reading.

spoiler: she basically managed to make the breed free of the genetic mutation just by bringing it to the other world and the cat having kittens with a local cat?? no idea how that'd work considering their ears look like that due their malformed bone structure. And after that she even became a breeder in both worlds after "fixing" the mutation?? well it's not wrong probably... and I guess it's also the cultural differences because where I live the sale from cats and dogs from breeders has been prohibited, I think most people get their pets from friends anyway, or shelters, but yeah I guess this is a cultural difference...  just a pet peeve though, the novel in general is pretty good. <<less

spoiler alert kind of, but a bigger warning that the following text mostly consists of my rambles reflecting on my own life lmfao soooo yeah this probably won't be relevant to anyone but me, I just wanted to rant:

 I liked that it's taken a forgiveness direction (probably, I haven't finished it but it seems to be going that way). I wanted the oriFL to be face slapped at times, but the MC is after all a kind girl and her patience doesn't come across as frustrating, at least to me. Her green tea attitude is undeniable but why can't a high schooler change for the better? Idk, I liked that, because it's making me think about my acquaintances and I've seen people say much harsher things and being more two faced than the oriFL, and that while being older than her. So I think it's fine for her to receive forgiveness. Honestly I had been put off this novel for some time because the only review about it wasn't too positive, but I don't feel that it was that frustrating plus that whole MC helping oriFL thing didn't actually last that long (which honestly I was ready for and I was ok with it, that was the point of the novel), but that stopped after like half of the novel.

As for the CP, I liked it actually, it also made me think about my own flaws haha because it wasn't particularly smooth but it also wasn't frustrating. It's making me reconsider my attitude, not that I thought my attitude was good, I hadn't really thought about it before I guess. Well, it's just making me realize that a cold war isn't the way to go. Which seems obvious but I can't help it, and I guess the guys I've talked with didn't care about me either because I feel that most of the time it'd be me taking the initiative to make amends (although it was often my fault too), but well I guess we just weren't meant to be. But yeah I hope this serves me as a reminder of just talking it out instead of avoiding the other person, even if it's not meant to be it's better to communicate.

Oh also, interestingly in most of the novel the FL is fat and isn't obsessed with losing weight as it often happens in novels, she transmigrated as someone fat (she looked like her but overweight) and I guess because she considered it like a dream she wasn't bent over losing weight. I haven't finished it though so idk how she'd look by the end of it, I guess by then she should've returned to her OG world so back to thinness but idk haha. Also at the beginning, when she was in her OG body she said she wanted to meet someone that liked her for her inner qualities rather than her looks but since she was beautiful she didn't know how that felt. So yeah, I liked that both the FL and the ML didn't care about looks like that, plus they both went through overweight days and have some inner insecurities but neither of them judged the other when they were in that position. I guess their transmigration helped them get together and helped the FL find love that doesn't care about looks. <<less

Anyway it's pretty interesting, in the first 2 arcs the romance is minimal, she doesn't really fall for him, in the 3rd arc she finally starts showing some interest and in the 4th arc they go deeper (for the record she doesn't have the previous world memories, she could but she doesn't feel the need to I guess), so if you want something with deep love since the beginning this is probably not it, but the ML falls deeply so there's still some love there. The roles are reversed compared to other novels, the FL here has the power, she's the richer and stronger one and keeps saving the ML and basically carrying the ML so that's refreshing and a nice change from those novels where the ML does everything and is the most powerful man. The FL is absolutely OP and the ML... in some arcs he's totally carried by her lol. <<less

It’s entertaining and I could’ve kept going but I also feel that it’s a waste of time, at least it gave me a wake up call. Being a long novel you can expect the typical things, secrets that can’t be solved yet, her companions also having their own goals, people going after them, etc. It’s entertaining for sure, but this is no masterpiece and everything seems forced, the characters aren’t realistic either, I guess they’re typical novel characters though. I can’t really excuse myself to keep reading it because I feel that I am wasting my time for some momentary entertainment, if that’s what you are looking for this is pretty neat.  <<less
