I did not expect this to be so good. It just feels great to read. The MC is funny and smart and strong, the heroines have great characters and character developments and even tho some start a little rough the progression is steady and swift so it never felt dragged. And he's not going around picking up anyone. They're few even tho he has a lot of fans that genuinely feel like fans more than romantic interests. ... more>>

Another importantthing for me is, at least for the first couple hundred chapters I've read, the original protagonist is just a good guy doing his own thing. He had a harem in the novel but he wasn't really that interested in pursuing that it just happened so now he focuses on strength and does not antagonize MC but seem him as a goal an rival whikr the MC habdles the world trying to make the meet wich is potentially dangerous so MC goes around like hes in a minefield while og protag as an aloof great guy, it's really funny and refreshing. 

Is it wish fulfilling? Yes, but its not just a lucky protagonist that gets handed things he works hard and does everything right and risks a lot and has a hard time behind the scenes while mainting his incredibile image he built up. He's unknowingly making himself a child of destiny and he has ro keep up with that levek of expectations (while of course enjoying the benefits) and thats what's the story is about imo <<less

It's not exactly wish fulfillment or romcom but the MC and the romance are so good that I had to put this. Despite being R-18 it doesn't happen very often and the story is the focus and as a power fantasy it's one of the best things I've ever read. All I'll say is that it has some of the best fights I've read <<less
