I have to put this in B-tier. Though it's very entertaining and I actually love the story. But again, the same as other BL novels, both the characters too powerful. The best thing is that they don't really outshine each other, though almost to the end when they started competing professionally, the ML, Fang Jinxing, felt a little bit redundant. His presence is so paper thin. This story has always been about Jiang Chen, and I do respect that. At least it's consistent in this area.... more>>

The e-sport didn't happen until very very very late, like, almost the end of the novel. The story itself revolved around the two of them playing this holographic game in a future setting, which is actually quite fun. I love the rag-tag team. I enjoy every bit of their interaction with other characters, though some of them felt like they're just there for plot sake and don't really matter in the end. Too many characters, not enough time to develop them. <<less

It was not implicitly mentioned, but it's a reborn story. So same formula as other reborn story, the life of both leads change due to the fate of the universe. It was too long in my opinion, and the story could be hella confusing at times. It's saved by the cute interaction of the two leads, but it's not enough to keep the story afloat. 

The e-sports part is okay-ish; sometimes it's too fast, sometimes it's slow; sometimes it's not properly explained, sometimes it's explained in details. There are many confusing action done by a character in the story, which implied that he remembers the life before reborn, while no one else didn't. But this character is not part of the core team of the story, so his presence felt redundant and unnecessary. 

The author did explain about the life before reborn and it got me all teary, but it's not enough to tie all the loose end together. Overall, it was not bad but also not too good either. <<less

Interesting concept, but execution was not. NSFW chapters are quite hot, which is a plus. Relationship a bit too messy, a little bit too dramatic, and identity reveal is dragged for far too long. <<less

This story is always about Lin Yan and Jing Yuanzhou, and their "adopted children" that formed into one big happy family. Lin Yan is also OP, but the OP-ness is also followed with the big flaw, which is his fear of being in enclosed space. There's no mention whether it was treated or not before, but we can see that throughout the novel, even up until the end, he still very much plagued with this trauma. It's not illness, it's a trauma. And it's not easy to fix. Even though the process of how he gradually could overcome it little by little might not be as scientific or even considered as "legal" in medical, but the magical cure is not there. There's still limitation for Lin Yan, and that's makes him stay balanced with the other male lead, Jing Yuanzhou.

Jing Yuanzhou is one of my most desired men, along with Luo Wenzhou, Lan Zhan, and Hua Cheng. My love for Jing Yuanzhou is how he's not the same model as other male lead: the cool, aloof, arrogant, those who is only nice to the person he loves. He is known as not liking to talk, and he chat once in blue moon, but from the communication with his past teammates, his friends in the e-sports circle, and even with his current teammates, he's not your usual male lead. He laughs often, he did talk to his teammates often, he is what you called the caring daddy. The name "Titan" really showed his capability and strength in the e-sports arena, but outside the area, he is just Jing Yuanzhou.

In this novel, the side characters are not forgotten. They're not just the foil for our two male leads to look brighter and shinier. Each one of them shines in their own way. Chen Yushen, Bi Yaohua, Gu Luo, and even Jian Ye the support not forgotten at all. They're all memorable. Even their rivals are also memorable. Each fight is fought to the highest degree, and it's really fun to watch them outwit each other. 

This novel is what I considered as a very fun journey. All characters are really great and the friendship is thick. Main characters are mature so their relationship is progressing in a way that's adult-like as well. It's also reborn story, but it's formatted in a way that's less confusing, which is a plus score.

Even though it's reborn, it's not even very prominent in this one, it's just being used as the main setup for making the MC has the baseline to create his own team. 99% of this story is about e-sports. Romance is there, but it's slow burn. But it's still very entertaining and fun to read. <<less

Mixed feelings. Do I think it's that bad? No. But is it good? Also no. It's not decent, but it's also not bad "BAD". It's really mixed to me.

The summary is so misleading. This mistaken identity doesn't even matter because it lasted for such a short chapter, and Han Mo, the other male lead, not even fooled. Yan Yibing is the main character, so of course he got all the glory. He won the championship, got the hot man, and even the blessing of the parent. All in one go. No compromises. But to me, the 2 main characters, Han Mo and Yan Yibing, both so bland.

Yan Yibing had the personality of a thin paper doll. Really really really paper thin. He is good looking, rich, and good in PUBG. Other than that? There's nothing. What about Han Mo? He is hot, handsome, and love Yan Yibing. Oh, he's also good in PUBG. Other than that? Nothing. So Han Mo also had the personality of thin paper doll. He's supposed to have this sad past, with his mom dying due to her illness and his father the scumbang. But it was brushed off under the rug with almost no mention of it at all throughout the entire story. Even though Han Mo was kicked out of his past team due to Yan Yibing's own one-sided perspective in life, this was not even the major problem between the two. They fight and bicker? Yeah, they fight and bicker like elementary kids. When Yan Yibing was the person who somehow had the hand in killing Han Mo's mother, whether directly or indirectly. But it's really just swept off, and this was not even the main problem in the couple. Han Mo doesn't have any hard feelings loving Yan Yibing, and had always been obsessed with him for so long. By this point, I'm not sure whether I wanted to continue, but I did. And the ending was so predictable it got me bored.

The story of the side couple also kinda eye-rolling at best. The author had this tendency to make their bottom to be this naive and clueless type of guy. They don't realize that the other person love them unless it's said to their face. 

Gasp! The audacity of actually having a brain and knowing that other person felt something to you! Shouldn't be in BL novel! 

Sarcasm aside, it was not a pleasant read to me. None of the characters appeal to me. When I read this, every chapter felt like it's just stretched out and felt so long.

The story is the usual e-sports, but with quite a lot of funny points. The main character, Yu Zhaohan, is someone who creates a false persona in order to be the "captain" that everyone respect. His childish personality is so hidden, until it's found out by his teammate, and kinda ex-enemy, though in a cute way, Shi Du. Then their relationship started from there.

It's not a perfect story, but it's also not that bad. I had my fun share of laugh throughout the story. There are times when it's crazy and there are times when it's actually quite good. It's a balanced story, and I do like that it's all about the e-sports and the 2 leads playing together and reaching the highest point in e-sports together.

Because it's e-sports, you will see the usual e-sports dynamic. Livestreaming, fans commenting, the competition, and so on. It's all present. Nothing new. <<less

As the title said, we should be honest. Be strict on honesty. Yeah, and that's the only thing that ever happen in this novel.

The story started confusingly with all the online names in a game, that suddenly didn't matter from around chapter 40 to the end. The online game, which was supposedly the main catalyst of the whole plot, suddenly become useless. The mistaken identity issue was overblown in the real life, to the point where I can't understand why the two leads, He Lang and Yang Juan, could even get together.

Not only He Lang was so strict in honesty, he's also strict on himself not accepting that he might like a guy as a guy. He was angry for almost 30 chapters, only to turn soft in the end for reasons unknown. It's really unknown. He suddenly feel angry when Yang Juan got close to others, got a boner, and in the end decided he loves him. It's really that abrupt and sudden. 

Reading this novel feels like I'm reading 1-star book. It feels like there's no plot, and I'm not sure about the personality of the characters. I think even the author had forgotten about it with how sudden the personality changes. It feels like there's no consistency throughout the novel, and it's extremely jarring to read it. <<less

When I read this novel, I feel the deja-vu, like I've read this before. In the middle, I realize that it had the same vibe with another e-sport novel that I like, though that one has better characterisation, and in some ways, better plot.... more>>

This novel is not that bad. It warranted the B-tier. It's the usual e-sport story with the main characters, Rong Yi and Xiao Yin, to be the most powerful couple in the existence of MOBA, at least in this story. Rong Yi can even make 100% accurate prediction on how the enemies will move, which is beyond amazing to me. I didn't watch MOBA often, but I feel like making 100% accurate prediction all the time was a little bit over the top. This skill was also not really being explored in the end. It's just mentioned here and there, to make Rong Yi so powerful. The fact that he picked all the best people in the e-sports with 100% accuracy a little bit overdone, but I guess the author need to establish that Rong Yi is awesome. That, to me, is what kills my excitement towards the character.

The area that I think is a bit overdone:1. Rong Yi is too powerful. No one can come close to him. Xiao Yin is a close second, with him being the God in the entire league, including the international team, and also the person who can create AI system as well as powerful businessman. Plus, he's also so rich no one else can counter him. By this point, I've given up on the characterisation. It's more about the race of who is going to be more awesome than the one before.

2. In the beginning, we were told that Rong Yi was afraid of camera. When we learned about the reason behind this trauma and fear, I actually think it was awesome. At least, there's a background to it. But of course, this was resolved in just 1 chapter, and it's during the extra not the main story, and it's not even with the help of specialist. Sure, let's just use the boyfriend method filming me everyday, even while having couple activities, to counter the trauma. I can't believe the author think this will work. Maybe that's why this is put in the extra instead of main story? But when Rong Yi suddenly appear in the main story with no problems facing the camera, it actually got me baffled. I thought I miss some chapters. 

3. The past between Rong Yi and Xiao Yin not really being explained clearly. What happened back then? They got separated because of rumor? Is it because they have disagreement? Is there any problems with Xiao Yin's family? It feels like this part is not clear and leave more questions than answer. Did the author forget about this, thinking they have explained it? Or the author just trying to be tricky and let us think what actually happen? I won't know the answer, but what I know is that I'm not happy about it.

I would not say it's bad, but it's not what I would recommend to others as well. Might as well read better novel. <<less
