MC: Kwon Eui Hyun seems scummy from the start (he ignores ML being ab*sed by his father, dies and didn't want to try again but the system forced him to return back in time whe he and ML first met over and over - he tries to ignore ML and raise someone else and that fails, and he gets desperate he believed some random person claiming "to kill a God is to make them love", soooo he convinces his father to sponsor the orphans and not take any particular one home, and he visits the orphans often to ensure they grow up safely but his true ulterior motive is to befriend ML in the attempt to ensure ML doesnt kill him when he destroys the world BWAHAHA He indulges MC cuz he probably is low-key scared of triggering MC, so when he searches and saved Yoon Hwa I'm like wondering if Yoon Hwa could have been the true love interest but that would highlight ML more of a villain LMAO... for instance, MC finally takes ML and the kids to the beach after half-heartedly promising and when ML is like "come play with me" even though MC acts like a tired parent he'll go up and dip his toes in the water while Ml is splashing around LOL although Yoon Hwa is very energetic, it doesnt seem like MC is forcing himself to get along due to a sense of responsibility HAHA idk maybe i am shipping the wrong people BWAHAHA but yeah basically MC's character develops from a selfish/cowardly depressed heir (he didnt help ML because he felt it wouldn't change anything and he gave up believing his own father would change cuz his father only values people who are useful for his political career) into a tired afterschool babysitter with undertones of depression (reading this novel has a gloominess to it, aside from MC sometimes being cruel to ML as a way to vent his frustration of being trapped in time loops)

ML has a thing for wanting to lock up and chain MC with golden chains and in multiple arcs he does in fact plans it and has actually purchased and hides the golden chains (though it's for show). Usually in cannon/main plot lines, MC is oblivious and chooses ML so ML restrains himself, and the golden chains don't actually come into play unless it's the extra chapters where MC and ML have met under different circumstances and ML would unleash the YANDERE possessiveness LOL (in the extras MC would just transform into a kitten to escape the chains LOL).
MC: Tang Qing (MTLs ML's nickname for Tang Tang Baobao = sugar baby LOL). Although his memories are erased, he still falls in love with ML again and again. I feel bad for his golden retriever brother Tang Bo who is working hard to ensure his brother can peacefully stay with the ML LOL. Anyways if you decide to read for the imprisonment plot its like chapters 81 ish (FL keeping ML and him being like "...you aren't good at taking care of others")... around chapter 117 is when ML tricks FL to his remote villa cuz he couldn't keep a distance anymore (her going on a blind date stimulated him). These chapters were based on one site so im unsure if they are the actual story chapters btw it might be different when the translators get further in the novel or on different websites haha
Also, im surprised with myself LOL but my favorite part was the wholesome surprise proposal where FL's friends kept popping out of nowhere while shes on a date with ML and gave her flowers- obviously the ML being his gentle considerate self arranged to propose to her and invited her friends to be a part of the experience cuz he understands her so well. She also told Lin Xin (the transmigrator friend whose thoughts spoiled the plot for FL and make her self-aware it's a "novel world") - she can no longer hear her heart and the world felt real - because her wish became true (she is no longer alone) and the "bad endings" didnt come true (everyone lives happily and as friends lol).

He thought he was in unrequited love, but he eventually decides to pursue MC and wait for him (so like, golden retriever schemer cuz he eventually schemes to bend MC). Also, he was very traumatized when MC got stabbed by one of the villains (whom MC knew planned to r*pe ML) so ML goes yandere and beats up the guy... basically whenever MC is the one who is in danger ML is the one to secretly retaliate and MC was unaware of his dangerous and dark side (MC signs him up for self-defense to protect himself LOL). MC only really got to know ML's darker side when ML they reunite and ML reveals he remembers who they truly are/truth of the world. To be honest... I wondered if there were more chapters exploring their past interactions instead of MC casually mentionning things ML revealed him before this world LOL (foreshadow was so subtle lol)
MC: An Cheng (pretty white haired Boi on the cover). Looks edgy (cuz of the "Ai" that controlled his body while he was gone LOL) but is a cinnamon roll. (ML looks like a cinnamon roll, but is dangerous LOL). Him being sleepy as a golden finger is funny cuz at one point he checks with the system if something is wrong and System 007, a black kitty, is like "nah I would ring the alarm meow" so cute! Also I honestly love his adoration, affection and love for his little brother An Qi and he really wanted to succeed in his mission and return home because (SPOILER) he felt guilty and felt he failed to protect his little brother TT omg I was horrified by the true villain in MC's world and I am glad ML's gift to MC was to give him the chance to prevent the bad endings. So huge TW (trigger warning) ML's baby brother was a victim of implied non consent and SA ab*se by the fake family friend who betrays them, mu*dered their parents and stole their inheritence holy sh*t the darkest and f*cking heart-breaking moment was when his baby brother was crying and screaming for him to take him home, then shuts down and dissociates/disconnects - be warned :( (its implied that he passes shortly after MC died before MC went on missions to return)
Plot: so it starts off like the summary as a campus novel where two hot roommates are just bros, the "main character" is chased by pe*verts, and later on "the straight one" realizes his feelings so they start dating and as they send villains to jail it becomes seemingly peaceful except the world "glitches" (like, tries to "correct itself" by targeting MC and ML's lives) so ML gets suspicious of a being calling itself "system 001" and eventually... MC and ML figure out someone is trying to sabotage the mission. MC dies protecting the copy/clone of his little brother (the truth shocked me - he knew it was an illusion the whole time, but couldn't help caring - i honestly believed the narrative that leads you to suspect his brother was there, but MC missed his real brother and recognize the differences and can distinguish truth from false). So MC is in a coma, but ML keeps him in another space to protect/hide him which hints at the truth of the world, its origin and ML's real role in MC's mission (cuz MC would have been the first to complete 100 missions). It was so sweet when they reunite.
Also, i really like their good roommate who games with MC. Even MC was like "if only he was part of the world" (well, unless it was lost in trandlation lol apparent MC can tell who is on a mission vs who is NPC?????)

ML: Zhao Chufeng/ Li Xuangming - possessive obsessive scheming h**ny emperor top LOL like... he took advantage of his father who chocked on a date to inmediately claim the throne and use his power as emperor to have MC cuz he couldnt forget MC's cute smile /cute (silly) flirting and he was aware MC's family was planning to marry him off... total domineering top BWAHAHA and what made me laugh to tears was the fact he takes a giant block of rare warm jade and has someonr carve it into... bedroom toys omg HAHAHA. Ah, yes, when MC was in the capital he gets jealous and catches MC flirting with prostit**es so he chains him up... basically ab*ses his power to keep MC by his side legally as a "Great Historian" but doesnt make him empress until the end (likely to protect MC). Although this emperor really does have yellow garbage in his head, his heart is sincere cuz he really does take care of MC - he applies ointment intimately and ensures MC's meals are well-thought out (he paid attention to MC's preferences when he stayed in MC's home territory before, so meals MC has from the palace were all delicious, nutritious and has medicinal properties cuz MC has a sensitive stomach). So like... MC is his first love I assume?
Other side yandere (SPOILER) MC's childhood friend Li Xuangjing-ge - starts off as a gentle gege... rebels cuz he felt ML stole what was rightfully his... and further degenerates into "If I can't have you, no one else can" and attempts to shoot MC with a legit arrow
MC: Yan Yihuan - spoiled pampered third youngest master who starts off naive and foolish (he would be like "hey little beauty" but he's so simple and cute that his cheeks get pinched LOL it was in fact ML's trusted friend that pinched MC's cheek lol). The translators notes made me LOL cuz author calls MC a "big genius" but he's so silly that he thought ML was a demon/ghost so when the guards gaslight him that nothing is there he goes back into the room and ML shuts the door to lock him in LOL. Also, ML deceived MC so MC doesn't find out he is the emperor until like months later when ML calls him back to the capital cuz he misses him. Huge spoiler... turns out MC's soul is incomplete which explains his simple nature that doesn't overthink LOLOL
So like plot... cliché overbearing emperor chasing after pampered spoiled rich boi... with dashes of some political intrigue and i didnt expect MC's soul/forgotten past to be amazing but yea thats cool, but the main focus is the romance and the good writing that leaves things to the imagination LMAO

The charm of this quickwear series is that MC and ML are pretty consistent in personalities (and are realistically influenced by the upbringing/experiences of their world - the writing is good) and the author doesnt recycle the same formula, so I found myself reading multiple arcs in one sitting because the arcs are intriguing - overall I wonder if this might go in the direction of MC forever endlessly reincarnating with ML because of love... I'm unsure if there is build-up for MC to return to his plane administration job or there are so many arcs because ML destroyed more worlds than we can imagine lol
ML: Tan Tan (his surname is usually different but he always has the name "Tan" in his first name). In worlds where he experiences the most trauma and ab*se - he would lean towards his cruel and bratty side, otherwise in worlds where he and MC met earlier or where MC saves him, he's sweeter/cute, a little clingy, and cries very cutely when ML does him. He tilts his head, has honey-colored eyes and is so beautiful that ML cannot resist him in every life. Heck, I like his playful side in the world's where his spirit isn't beaten down (these are worlds where he and MC meet earlier). Alas, he is a villain - in one world he had good parents who were brutally mu*dered by the pe*vert emperor that wants to force him to be his plaything. Or in a modern world where he has doting parents, he is born with a "criminal brain" (making his a born "anti-social " disorder and his loving parents were concerned he'd become a serial killer like his uncles). Otherwise, even when he was a good person, he ends up being targeted by pe*verts which is the more common reason of his villain origin. Like, the pe*vert emperor built a golden cage to ravish him (he ends up sleeping with ML in the golden cage to torment the creep LOL) or he has a life where his "disciples" wanted to make him their plaything, but they don't love him and the loneliness was depressing - btw he was adorable in this arc. Basically he'd say something grandiose, ML would be like "we cannot do that we are stuck here" and he'd be like "makes sense" and then teleports them LMAO
MC: Yu Zhou... matches ML's freak LOLOL actually he's a good cool guy who is capable, reliable and kind-hearted. But also... matches the ML's freak. Lemme explain, so like, ML usually is the one who acknowledges he himself is gay and Tall Handsome men who can discipline him like MC is his type hrrrng but also MC can be "unromantic" at times (but lol ML is always blushing cuz of MC). In many words, MC himself loses control and sleeps with ML because he is attracted to him (in most lives, he sees ML as a seductive and cute fox), and ML is the only one that MC feels temptation towards (otherwise he is indifferent to other beauties). MC treats ML special - he is affectionate in his gestures (spoils ML with snacks, sleeps side-by-side, thinks about ML) - and he sometimes doesnt realize this until his friends in the world point out his behavior. Or, in lives where he is more mature he recognizes he's in love with ML. He usually says "I'm sorry" before he unleashes his inner seme and dominates ML - making him sob/cry out in pleasure LOLOL sometimes... it doesn't seem like MC remembers his identity as a plane administrator and he doesn't seem to be playing any roles which it why the series gives off more of "reincarnations" theme.
My favorite arc is where MC thought he was transmigrated into a messy R18 tr*sh romance with ABO/Guide-Sentinel setting but refuses to let ML be gang-banged and takes on the roles of all tops very seriously LMAO his system (his friend in disguise) was very supportive and was like "since you'll need to be prepared to play 69 tops I got deer juice and vi*gra for you!" (LMAO). The best part of that arc (aside from ML thinking MC is into role-play LOL) is the moment where they were in their susceptibility periods and felt sooo good being vulnerable and having "a rush of constant dopamine" (I think author also meant to include oxytocin??) - leading to them looking at each other obsessively. The writing was good, and also, it really illustrates MC and ML having a special connection.
The arcs are good, I recall the first one is enemies-to-lovers (and after that, MC falls quicker for ML because the love was always there from the start).
I think the 2nd arc, ML was like "if it was you whom I met under the plum blossoms, I would be a loyal minister to you" (and so we get two alternate extra endings, one of which the wistful thought came true - MC is the emperor who falls in love with ML at first sight under the plum blossoms, rewards ML's family with treasures and seduces ML to become his empress and supports ML's career - ML legit was like "i wanna get more territory for my man" and helps MC make the country prosper LMAO)
The world where MC was ML's bodyguard... it was hilarious cuz ML makes MC wash his underwear and MC was kind of mentally venting at the fact he had to memorize the different scents of the face and foot masks ML uses LMAO i laughed so hard when ML bangs on MC's door angrily cuz he's like "you're eating hot pot behind my back while I'm dieting!? We have to suffer together!" LOL (the arcs had some dark moments too - MC forgave ML for trying to kill his friend in their childhood wtf but also... in the timeline where they were not childhood sweethearts, MC looked forward to meeting ML on rainy days.
Theres an arc where MC is an older dragon that raises ML and its hilarious cuz ML was a naughty egg that bounces and destroys things/wreck harvoc so MC often kept a close eye on ML giving ML a sense of security. So when ML was kidnapped and brainwashed, he vaguely remembers he hates tomatoes because someone threatened to cook him in tomato and scrambled eggs. The alternate timeline i felt was one of the saddest ones cuz ML was waiting to meet and thank MC (because MC briefly protected him) but realized too late MC was gone (he couldnt hold on any longer/they reunited too late).
The Crimson Abyss version of ML was adorable - he's a "jade-like" skeleton and honestly I think the author had fun writing how beautiful ML's bone structure is LOLOL MC quickly accepting the fact he loves a skeleton who loves to eat and loves sparkly and pretty accessories is also peak romantic comedy LOLOL
There's a world that ML destroys, but when MC was like "whats makes you think I wouldn't love you?" He uses his power to bring back MC, so MC is reborn and finds him again, and they fall in love all over again. Of course there are setbacks - it wasn't obvious MC already cares about him (cuz MC was afraid of ML's destructiveness from the first timeline as he witness firsthand how terrifying ML's power is, so he would punish ML everytime he drew cuz he thought that would prevent ML going down the same path... at the same time he kept ML close cuz he never forgot his first love).
I think the shortest arc was where ML was a mukbang taotie food vlogger and MC made cooking videos as a hobby LOL ML was just hungry for love
Theres an arc where ML is MC's missing ex-boyfriend... and its heartbreaking in both timelines when MC suspects and confirms ML is a ghost who died young (that's why they lost contact). In the "original timeline" ML already lost his memories and became the evil boss of a horror dungeon, so when he and MC meet, MC is already unhinged from surviving the horror world, and basically won't ever let ML out of his sight (he literally teleported behind ML, grabbed his waist and was like "so you were here", rips off his clothes and does him in the ferris wheel LOLOL meanwhile amnesiac ghost ML is feeling shy heehee)
And... im still reading LOL

There are six worlds and the pacing is quick. The development was interesting and its fun when the "children of destiny" simply like MC and it makes ML jealous lol. MC is also smart (even though ML calls him a silly cat), cuz after the first world (he was ready to use all his points to return to his first love), he finds the ML in other worlds and eventually suspects ML's identity as a "judge". Also, the system is so cute and funny (he's a glowing ball MC likes to play with as a cat) - whenever he sends out complaints or reports an issue the world is like "there's no problem" - turns out it is because MC is blessed to be loved and be favored by the world LOL

ML: Lu Yichuan... YANDERE OFF THE RAILS. He really went insane with grief and couldnt cope with MC's death. He attempts to unalive himself twice due to unhealthy obsession and attachment... until he discovers the cat by his side was MC (before that sometimes he would just say insane and unhinged things like, he was so drunk he picked up MC the kitty and was like "your eyes are so pretty, would you give them to me?" Because he recognizes MC's eyes LOL but also he had very terrifying and dangerous thoughts... he also didn't notice it was MC cuz in the past he deluded himself that MC reincarnated as a bird etc so he ignored MC's human-like behaviour until magic happens... and... I teared up when he heard MC's true thoughts "i thought you didnt want me anymore..." and "even if you no longer recognize me, I'm happy to be by your side like this". He really couldn't let MC out of sight for a while and was paranoid. ML is scary LOLOL like, the novel feels like a thriller where only MC is oblivious to his danger cuz many years passed for ML but not for MC, so when ML is being controlling MC felt the air was strange but couldn't pinpoint the problem LOL (ML saw MC was going to leave cuz he was literally on the fence so he demands "come here" but in frightening ways LOL)
MC: Jiang Heng is sunny and sweet because ML raised him and protected him all his life (they were understandably co-dependent... ML's family is messy and MC was his solace and he felt MC only belonged to him and was his home... meanwhile MC felt secure with ML especially when he felt he no longer belonged to the family as a "fake heir"...). MC cares most about ML and chased after him when he was reborn because he regrets not living long enough to go to college together. He was also concerned about ML... MC "bullied" him while he was acting as MC's "weak" personality so he gets revenge by drugging and doing MC...he constantly tests MC and loves the surprises MC has in store for him). Also described as having a "suffocating level of possessiveness" towards MC (so MC felt guilty when he teased another ML and got a kiss on the cheek, he was worried Ruan Zhixian would kill his only friend for kissing "his toy"). He's also petty - he be playful to MC one moment and then he takes MC to a villa he bought for him where the other dangerous MLs are waiting because MC played with all their hearts... another ML assumed MC was romantically involved with him for the sake of world peace LOL "Ruan Zhixian was a psychopath. If Shen Yan didn't date him, he would probably go on a killing spree and destroy the world. The words 'destroy the world' sounded funny, but if they were applied to Ruan Zhixian, people wouldn't laugh. He had the ability.". We also gotta talk about the prison scene where hes wearing white prison-wear, chained up to suppress his super-strength and enhancements and he's behind a glass wall, but he still breaks out with his bare hands like a super-villain cuz prison cannot contain this badass who isn't over his first love and he wants answers on why MC left him LOL (I mean, he chose MC even when he saw MC's "mediocre" side (MC kept telling him he's an ordinary human, but MC is very special and dear to him)... its also implied his body is special which explains the high IQ and stamina hehehe poor MC)
ML #2: Blaze - at first seemed to be the most "normal", but his upbringing was definitely abnormal and he is the arsonist at heart, like the main ML has destructive thoughts... MC treats him as a friend (calls him princess LOL) and didn't want him to suffer so he didnt run away and accepted the desire of wanting to lock up and hide MC away cuz MC understood it was a result of his twisted upbringing manifesting as extreme possessiveness in response to unmet needs and suppressed longings from childhood LOL. MC probably also thinks the desire to kiss and be kiss is from being touch-starved ("skin hunger") LOLOL at some point he's sleeping walking and grabbing MC to sleep together and begs for kisses and MC is like "... do bros kiss?" LOL, compared the the first ML, he looks like the "safer" option but... MC only wanted to be friends while he craved for more. Anyways I like his little robot "Little Blaze" who is so cute LOL
ML #3  Warren and Falson. One wants an ideal romantic destined partner and was deceived by MC's honey-trap (he sold him on the idea of him being his dream lover LOL) and the other has a seriously twisted Odepius complex, wanting to call MC "mommy" and is like "I don't want a daddy, wait two more years and I'll be my own daddy" LOL it's cuz MC "died" saving him causing him to be so moved, so when MC is unconsciously affectionate to him like rubbing his hair he likes MC more and more - he gets an extra alternate universe chapter where MC actually takes care of him LOLOL (laughing cuz it still keeps them in character despite different circumstances)
MC: Shen Yan, seems like a normal person pretending to be as crazy as end-game ML in this thrilling cyberpunk futuristic world, buuut he reminisces his own chunnibyou past and channels that energy when acting "as insane as the terrorist protagonist" like the summary LOL (he's basically like "me too!" for everything except doing it all night, that is where he puts his foot down LMAO). Anyways throughout the plot he flirts with all the MLs to survive and they keep each other in check. He's worried the end-game main ML might kill him when he's bored so he uses psychological tactics to bait ML cuz he knows that ML loves the thrill and danger MC traps him in. He also had a nightmare about 5P which makes him want to run away from the pe*verted MLs LOLOL his final choice makes sense considering he needs an equal and strong man who challenges him intellectually and enotionally (the one who brings out the best in him, accepts all of him, and also respects when he says "no" which MC and I didnt expect LOL - When MC didnt give consent, he gracefully accepted it and left, MC was speechless cuz he probably didnt anticipate this one ML to accept no as an answer considering he probably drugged MC once - i know its bare minimum but still, that stood out HAHA). Although he emphasizes he is ordinary (cuz he isnt crazy he prefers living in a peaceful world compared to the the villain group of MLs), he and the true ML are a power couple LOL and the true ML is the one whom MC misses most (he thinks about his neighbour a lot whenever they are apart heehee). As for the other MLs - the "husband, son and friend" - here is my assumption; probably was never really romantically interested in the friend (only really felt a platonic connection and MC was uncomfortable with the friend-zoned friend wanting more), the son doesn't respect boundaries and annoys MC sometimes when he oversteps/touches/bites without consent, and the husband failed to win MC over cuz he was more into the idea of love and MC treated him more like a tool to protect him (MC played house with him but it didn't feel real).

It makes sense why she has a dedicated and strong will to live based on the mission the system set for her- so when the Heavenly Dao was testing her by threatening her life, 'Pan Qiankui slowly sat up from the cold floor and replied: "I am going to die, but I want to die in his arms."' Because, she felt her original life was unremarkable and that no one needed her poor Kuikui!!!!! Of course her self-sacrificing mindset will make ML go even more YANDERE LOLOL

LMAO his behaviour gets outrageously hilarious - so they meet again in the real world and shes picked up a part-time job at a bar cuz the hours are flexible and the pay is good, but he is very possessive and cannot stand the thought of her giving other men attention so he stages a scene where he saves her from workplace harrassment (its written so hilariously, MC is aware she provoked him cuz she gets him, so she just goes with it cuz shes like "ohhh you wanna play domineering boss and senior? Alright ill be the little white flower" meanwhile her actual boss is speechless by the ML's behaviour LMAO)
MC: Yu Li - charming and manipulative (she sweetly calls the system "darling" and "treasure" and it melts and does what she wants so she thinks its "so easy to fool" - she treats it well though cuz her impression of it is that of a helpful cute child curious about the world, so the impression changes to "easy to satisfy" LOL). Usually amused and unfazed with the surprises of the infinite world/transmigration world, and carries herself with an elegant and lazy look, has eyes like a "seductive fox" LOL. She didn't reach out to her fiance right away, but instead focused on understanding the new world and decided to help her "horror actor" boyfriend (she figured out helping his ranking would keep him alive and she's willing to save him). Although she enjoys messing with him because he's hot and psychotic, she feels a special connection with him (she said its because like attracts like... although its believable, MC puts in some effort in caring about other people whereas the ML does not and is only gentle to her LMAO). She really does like the control over him (she told the system she pursued him first and shes good at flirting with him) and even the male lead felt he was losing control (he can't help but feel attracted even when he pretends to be indifferent LOL)... MC is very clever too and understands something is trying to get between them and manipulate them (she hides it well but its subtly hinted she is suspicious of the car accident LOL).
Anyways I like that the MC treats the system well (i hope it remains sweet), FL is aware she is using the system to her advantage, and she noticed it is child-like and curious about the world, so she promises to take it out to play however they meet the ML and FL is swept away by his pace. After he drops her off she sneaks off to a park to watch a sunset and tease the system that was like "Is this for me!?" - soooo cute. Although FL is calculating and "dangerous" and acts like she pretends to be gentle... this choice demonstrates she cares about the system and she is genuinely a gentle "sister" to the system (they spend a lot of time together and she expresses her honest thoughts to it. She even tells it to hide sometimes to protect it LOL). I havent finished reading the whole story... so I just hope she isnt forced to betray the system (she probably sees it as a chip but it looks like she sees it as a companion) and i hope the system remains innocent (since FL is the type who wont hesitate to stab/hurt others for her boyfriend's benefit...)
Writing - the pace is good. The transition/bridge between the past, the horror movie arcs and the world they are plus hints/forshadowing/build-up to the main couple's true origins are well connected and the flow is smooth. The author laid out a thorough groundwork for the plot and does a good job of fleshing out the main couple and their dynamic. I like the way the personalities and behaviors are described.

Poor MC though, cuz he feels horrible for bullying and tries to tone it down, but he is afraid of losing his soul if he doesn't comply. ML: Liang Shanyuan/ Ah Shan / Zhao Yujing courtesy name Si Nan is a paranoid YANDERE who wasn't instantly in love with the MC, but naturally and logically develops romantic affection after they got to know each other better LOL. That's the charm of this novel, and when he does fall in love the weight of his devotion is heavy and MC will never be able to escape his entanglement. He's truly a villain - he's a 500 year old evil ghost known to eat the hearts of any living being that crossed his path and no longer remembers the memories of his human life (he doesn't care). He wears the skin of the living by making deals to fulfill wishes (usually revenge) which is why he was the adopted "daughter" that resembled Liang Shanyuan when MC first meets him, and behaves as if he's watching a play while the fierce ghosts torment the living. He himself is intrigued by MC because by touching her, he no longer feels the karmic fire burning him causing him immense pain (a curse inflicted upon him when he killed a monk who told him he will suffer if he continues doing evil). He follows MC and tries to seduce her by saying he wants to be closer because he wanted to possess "his antidote". He is OBSESSED and POSSESSIVE and PARANOID so when he overheard she didnt want to travel with him he uses the monkey demons to scare her and her companions and pretends to save them to gain favour. He also read intercepted the letter she wrote to her parents becausr he thought she was afraid of him and was going to ask for help (but the letter was normal so he let it go and let it be delivered to the parents lol. Anyways the MC's maid confronts him becaude she vaguely noticed he is abnormal and not feminine, so he mu*ders her and uses another ghost to control her to spy on the royal family and as a future chess piece...). Later on, he is insanely jealous of the childhood friend (Jiang Zhijie, a genuinely good and kind person who likes MC) he ruins his character by framing him punching and beating "herself" and manipulated/bewitched him into drug addiction. He also put a spell on MC's brother so that he can hurt his eyes whenever he wants (he usually uses this trick whenever he wants to separate MC and her brother, for example Xu Ruyi was worried about MC and was riding the horse with his sister so ML made his eyes sting and convinced him to switch places so that MC is in his arms LOLOL). Meanwhile, MC accidentally inhaled aphrodisiacs and confessed she likes ML, he's like "I wanna make you a ghost so that we are always together" and shes like no r u crazy LMAO so he legit says "ok then lets die together" and gives her his weakness (a tiger doll in a wooden box) and MC is like horrified and they have a healthy conversation about feelings (well, MC is the sane one though leading the healthy convo. ML's humanity is barely there and his sanity is only intact because MC's presence and touch relieves the constant pain that drives him crazy LOL) anyways they sleep together around chapter 73 heehee (ML was like "I never told you I was a woman" BWAHAHA, then they do it again on their wedding night (MC unaware ML was pretending to be the groom), and they did it again in a carriage in chapter 76, and then hate revenge s*x chapter 82-83 and doing-it-until-unconcious play chapter 94-95 LOLOL) anyways ML is seriously dangerous and has unhinged thoughts like wanting to lock up MC to be his exclusively and this was waaay before he felt romantically towards her. Also, MC's unstable soul constantly dreams about ML - she saw him in the original novel when he possessed her body and orchestrated a mass slaughter in the palace out of boredom. She also saw his original life, she was in the body of a fox he saved and was accidentally killed when he, originally a kind and loving prince, was driven insane by an evil cult that manipulated him to kill everyone he loves (which makes sense why he was "damned" and became a powerful ghost wandering the world)... but also FL gets him LOL: "There was a feeling that this ghost could love her and be intimate with her in the last second, but in the next second, he might strangle her to death.Unstable, moody." - too true, he once gifted her a purse that he bullied a ghost to sew cuz he couldnt be bother and pretended he made it to gain favour. Later, he burns it because he couldnt stand the thought of her wearing a purse someone else sewed LOLOL dude u did this to yourself
FL: Hua Zhuo behaves like a TSUNDERE because the system will punish her if she goes OOC and the original soul was known to be domineering (one of the wishes was to bit*h at the ML because originally he cruelly killed the native Hua Zhuo). She herself is lovely and kind and to alleviate the guilt of being a bully, she gifts expensive things and food to those she belittles (thus causes misunderstandings that she is shy and awkward with affection = tsundere LOL). Yes she is afraid of ML but she grows dependent on him because he consistenly is reliable and saves her whenever she is in danger (although she isnt aware he is the manipulater behind many of the dangerous traps she walked into - LMAO yes he even pretended to be her childhood friend and groom in the fake wedding to marry her LOLOL). Her sweetness to him and healing makes him most obsessed with her and since she isnt bewitched by him ML interest grew more and more because he wanted to win her favour. He even said he wants her to be willing and voluntarily chooses to be with him. Obviously, his gentle facade and soft smiles are genuine and real with her and he takes care of her. Its inevitable she would fall in love even though she knows he lies to her sometimes. She also cant help but feel sympathy especially as she understands his past through her dreams... she has a cinnabar mole on her forehead. ML told her moles exist so that they can be recognized by their lovers from previous lives... at first i was wondering if MC actually was the little fox who wanted to pay back kindness to the prince buuut the author had something else in store (SPOILER - closer to the end, the ML recalls the first timeline where after going crazy he finds out his origins and the irony of becoming just like his enemy, so he sent FL to reincarnate because her corpse that he possessed (and it's kind of implied her ghost lingered semi-concious...) accompanied him for many years and he wished to save at least one person from his destruction... and he hoped if she returns, he hoped she would tell him not to do the evil thing that cannot be reversed which came true - ML and FL were always destined to be entangled and owe each other karma). Also, FL observed
"When there is a quarrel, he calls her princess or your highness. When he feels affectionate, he calls her Zhuo'er"
I also find it adorable MC roots for the romance between Xu Ruyi and Meng Qiuci, the main protagonists of the original plot lol

As for the side couple the dynamic is like tsundere baddie sister protective of the silly sweet sister x golden retriever with a motorcycle who loves to tease and follow his tsundere queen XD it was adorable when he asks MC if she knows him so she calls him "future brother-in-law!" LOL).
