This relationship was mature and health and while there were ups and downs I always advocate and love for couples to communicate. They stayed away from toxicity and this one was just a breath of fresh air for me who's read a lot of dog blood  couples lately. (I love ml's personality!!!) <<less

I was looking for the High that I got when I was reading FOG (one of my first intros to esports novels) but this one didn't give me the similar eagerness to absorb and read thru the pages. It was still good nonetheless. the esport aspect is really well done, the characters were great (I love Bai Cai's personality) the side teams will make you root for them too and the Team of Gods make you feel all sorts, pacing was good and I especially appreciate that there wasn't that lowkey kor. vs. chn. thing going awn. It was good but because I was expecting too much it fell a bit off. Great read regardless.   <<less

It was about acting but theres also him being good in business then him being good at cooking and it felt like it didn't make me focus on one aspect... whether its about leading a new life without influence from the novel!mc or is it revenge or face slapping or acting or business or being this jack of all trades i truly didn't know where we were going.
