If you want a story with a real non human male lead. One that actually has character background that’s not a complete crock of bullshit. Who genuinely gives you the chills. It’s well written and deeper than the usual once over novels you’ll see here, so if your a baby reader delicate and soft with thin skin and with a fragile and easy to attach emotional state then this is not for you, probably? Unless you want to graduate. 

Reading this to simply call it a romance novel does not settle right with me. Let’s just say that. It’s not actually bad. Just that romance and love doesn’t really feel like the right words for this novel. For the relationship between these two lead love is not the word. It’s not enough.  <<less

Ahem now that I’ve calmed down I can say that the reason this novel is here as you can maybe see is due to the merit of the main character alone. The rest of the story can vanish into thin air and I wouldn’t miss it all that much. The main character is the gem of this novel. I genuinely love his design and his dialogue absolutely pierced my heart.

I’m dead they killed the main character (not literally) but they threw away his character design I.e. killed him. He will forever remain my second to first love. Emperor Nero is actually my first love but they feel so different I didn’t want to rank them. But with this death I now rank it Emperor Nero first and this one Second. <<less

One thing though, there's a lot of plot holes, and inconsistencies. One moment you have a dystopian cyber punk world and the next everything is basically described the same as a modern world setting with some historical roots inspo. The only thing being left is the MLs as a hint to the whole cyberpunk setting ( you know the whole biomechanical parts + mutant lover thing). Characters will be forgotten and thrown away like a half eaten meal. ( so much potential going to waste here) <<less
