Why force yourself through dull chapters, questionable trope choices, and those "I'm going to edge you until you squirm, only to give you a vague description of rising sheets and dripping candle wax" type of intimacy scenes? I mean, can we at least get a new color for the sheets for once?? Can the scene be more comprehensible instead of feeling like a literarified version of an abstract painting made by a three-year-old chimpanzee?!?
