Rating: 5/5- All time favorite and a definite re-read.

The characters are wonderful and the concept of a male only society was well created. I personally loved the wholesome interactions between the MC and ML and because I’m easily satisfied by characters that are cute and adorable and dedicated, this couple served me enough fluff and happiness.

Secondly the side characters and especially the parents of the ML were really enjoyable and even the villain was well developed. The cowardice of the shou was actually so well written and not off-putting.

I personally... more>> enjoyed the extras around Gary and Ludwig, although I would have liked to read more about Fred and Lara too.

Couple goals definitely go to Shu Shu and Edgar! <<less

I'm crying because there's no more to read, I really wanted more sweet stuff between Edgar and Shu Shu and maybe they're children too...

Why, WHY DID IT NEED TO END?! T T

Tho I'm telling you the firsts charpters really didn't catch my attention, until ch15~ that I couldn't stop myself, now I'm going to re-read this, Is such a good thing! really! just be careful! The sweetness blinds!!!

A treasure.

The story is really interesting. At first, I thought it would be a novel that only sold meng. Turns out I am extremely wrong. Shu Shu is cute, but he is not like other protagonist who only sell their cuteness and definitely not in an exaggerated way that make you want to roll your eyes. And he is strong, in his own way. Now let's talk about Edgar (aka ML). An indulgence type, which is the type I don't like that much, but surprisingly I really like him! Usually,... more>> this kind of ML follows every words that MC said and overindulgence. But in case of Shu Shu and Edgar, their relationship is equal. Nah, how could a country bumpkin and a crown prince have an equal relationship? That's why I said this novel is a treasure. Edgar loves Shu Shu and because he (SS) isn't a typical (sub-beast) man, the chasing methods show their love. Also, the side couple! They're quite many side couples and I love everyone of them. Especially the extras.

Let's discuss the plot. It is very much interesting and in my opinion there's only a few plot-holes (for example Shintia (?) - I think I write the name wrong), but it doesn't affect the main story so I don't really mind. Basically the plot-holes are the side characters' whereabout (I only question about their whereabout at the end of the story 'tho because their disappearances are not sudden/weird, just a matter of course. But it still a missing plot (???)). Also, the story is not long-winded. When the plot should progress, it progress so it can keep me interested the whole story. I even feel like I need more! Author, if I am not mistaken I think at the end of main story you gave notes that said you wanted to write the lions couple's story! (And I really want to read about them!!! T_T).

This is the type of Novel that you want to read when searching for fluff but usually don't get much definition of in other stories. I loved the plot and the story entirely. It was cute and fluffy and I know some had concerns regarding how the MC acted in the beginning but he legit had a phobia and PTSD from having been almost eaten numerous times by snakes so its a LEGIT fear psychologically for him. I also think that MC didn't realize how much he had become dependent... more>> on ML in this new world. MC had JUST turned into a Human from being a damn hamster, of course he was going to want to stay by the one he had become so close to and had taken care of him. As a hamster he had become accustomed to being taken care of. That's the whole premise of this Novel. So if you're reading this with the outlook that the MC is a normal human and should be independent then don't read the novel.

That's not to say that the MC is easily walked all over, in fact he's very outspoken on everything and does what he wants. He's super cute with stuffing all sorts of things in his mouth. I honestly love this novel and recommend it to anyone who wants to read something cute, fluffy, and with 3.d. Characters. I've reread this Novel at least 3 times so far when I can't find any other BL to read. <<less

I couldn't get past the first 15 pages I believe so it could get a lot better but....

It took the airhead 3 days to realize he was no longer wearing his skirt....3 days... Not hours.... days.

Plus he faints at the sight of trouble then when regains conscience his master plan is to close his eyes and tremble. Not to fight or escape even though the author says he has escape magic. Nope just becomes a trembling mess quick to give up at the sight of danger.

If the uke wasn't such an airhead that had no will to do anything this might have been interesting.

But I could be biased. I like the ukes to not automatically be useless without the ml. Really dislike authors who write female or the gay male be so delicate and useless that watching paint dry is better entertainment.

I loved reading this! Super fluffy and lovely interaction between the main couple. Loved reading fearless Shu Shu (somewhat) overcome his fear and Edgar becoming silly. Idiot couple best couple!

The extras are kinda so-so. I liked them a lot but it was frustrating reading all the faceslaps delivered shsjjs novel netizens doing their shtick (sigh) 😂

Didn't really expect to enjoy this as much as I did!!!!

I really enjoyed it alot and wish for more. Really I am quite in the mood for these type of stories 😸

The MC is literally a hamester lol. He is very true to his hamester character yet special which is lovely.

I don't know if it is the translation or what but I don't like it when referring to the more submissive male as a female like (mother / princess)

It is a trope in bl but still this division of a dominant top male that act as male and submissive bottom male that acts like a female annoys me greatly. There are even real females in life stronger than those sub-beastmens.

Another thing that annoyed me greatly is

Gary is a beastman. MC decided to bring him up like that so why the hell are all the family think of him as sub-beastman ? Gary him self didn't like sub-beastmen food or treatment (playing) when young and he is stronger than most beastmen sooo why force your preference on him ?? He is not a sub-beastman. (Although the author did mention that gary did whatever he wanted it is still anoying that his grandparents and father still think of him as such) the point is... In the extra adult gary turned out that he likes sub-beastmen food more (maybe because babies food didn't contain meat back then ?) And mischievous gary suddenly became the type that likes to lay low and don't fight and quarrel then at the end because he become pregnant he and all of them considert him as sub beast man rather than abnormal beastman. The idea about him being beastman is just a naught

It's really funny. I love all the characters and the style of writing is great! The side story at the end is amazing. The MCs sons are so cute! The big brother is so over protective of the little brother. No matter who you are, if you read this novel, you're going to laugh.

What a straight forward hamster boii!!! I am completely done with ML who in order to eat tofu have to lose several layers of skin or trick the MC with underhanded means. The hamster boy simply says "let's f**k" and they go down to business, this novel doesn't even have any smut, but it's the principle that's important!!

Generally the MC has a hamster mindset in a human body, so this mindset leads to several funny incidents within the novel.

For example, once the ML accidentally played p*rn while trying to find a film to entertain the hamster boy, and instead got completely red faced. While the hamster boy watched it and simple reminisced about female hamsters mating and his life in the cage.

The story itself is really light hearted, and the ML is not a bullheaded person and genuinely cares for the MC. There is no tragedy or deep schemes. So the novel focuses on the blossoming relationship between the two leads, as they work out the logistics of being different species and mindsets. As the hamster boy transmigrated different worlds, and the ML gets sexually confused.

Also the ML is a snake beast person and the MC is absolutely terrified of snakes, so the hamster has a lot of mental blocks to overcome

A nice fluffy story with some little action and slow romance. World building is neat as well, nicely described and the story didn't confused me. MC's actions are always straight forward from start to end of the story which is cute, lovable and funny. ML also has a nice character development. I can't say much, overall, it's a good and relaxing read.

I recommend this story.

Very cute and heart warming. Conflict is pretty minimal, straight forward plot, and everyone gets a happy ending. Read this if just want a light-hearted novel or if you're tried of drama and angst.

MC is kinda dumb in the beginning but becomes smarter later on, while ML is very patient and accommodating.

The extras include their childrens' lives too. My favorite characters actually aren't MC and ML

This is a very cute and chill story. It's quite on the slow side when it comes to pacing but it's not too dragging. There's not much uniqueness to it, but the use of tropes and the characters aren't annoying.

The MC doesn't become too powerful. Strength and intelligence-wise, he focuses on medicine on the last stretch of the story and becomes hailed as a genius doctor, but remains dull in other areas lol. He also retains his earthly morals and humility as a hamster so he doesn't become prideful or... more>> excessive.

As for ML, he's quite loyal and loving, if a bit on the jealous side. He initially followed after MC in the beginning because he felt like his protective instinct for him kept him sane and grounded, but his feelings for him grew in a relaistic manner. MC tried to be brave and cared for him even when he was obviously trembling and scared of snakes and even treated him like human when he wasn't even aware that ML was human.

As for the tone of the story, the story is shaped around the climate of opinion after ML's parents' generation. We slowly get introduced to how difficult it was for ML's "mother", who was a commoner, to find his place as a royal because he was disliked by ML's grandparents for being a normal commoner who they thought was undeserving of their golden child. In contrast, MC is welcomed with open arms and warm embrace by his in-laws and the people were just happy that their prince found someone he loved. The previois generation had a dog blood drama going on so it provides the tension that the current generation lacks.

It's an easy and cute read, nothing exceptional, but enjoyable nonetheless. <<less

If you want a light hearted story this book is probably for you. Full of fluff and sweetness MC Shushu the hamsters ? Will definitely melt all the hard-bones in you’re body. He is probably the most cutest hamster ever.

I practically scoured through the entire raw, and I say this book is really worth reading.

As for the h scene, there are probably a lot but it was disappointingly skipped by the author. (Drops shoulder.) To those who have read this novel haha I feel you guys ~❤️

I've finished mtling just now and all I can say is that it's so good.

First, I love how very appropriate the title is and has never stray from it's original topic. I cannot judge the writer's prose styling since I am just reading machine translated version after so I am quite regretful for that. However I love the overall plot structure and the pacing is pretty good. Not draggy, IMO. No dull moment at all. Also, this is one of the few ml's that are on the cute side but... more>> I find cool at the same time. I like uke's character design. It's just the right amount of cuteness without being helpless in an annoying way. The pacing of the relationship is pretty good, it's not loaded with tropes but they are charmingly one of a kind pair.

All in all, I could give this full points. I'm very much satisfied. Will read this again in one go after the scanlators go further on their translation. <<less

A light hearted story with an interesting permis and setting. Every arc feels pretty complete and like it could end there and then, only to be followed by another arc with a different setting and feeling but the same characters.

The role of Cultivation in this story and how it interacts with the physiology is I unique and interesting.

The cultural difference which the hamster encounters are taken into account but not blown out of proportion.

The MC has a low EQ- sort of, but doesn't come off as degradingly dumb, just hamster... more>> level intelligent. MC has some out of the norm behaviour and values, but that are consistent and explained by his background. Making his behavior fun and refreshing.

ML is a typical, asexual-until-I-met-you, cold faced, overpowered, influential, clever and charismatic but silently good-natured perfect guy. He is also an ideal representation of the thoughts and values of his science fiction, Alpha-Omega world. The twist with becoming a snake does add a layer of complexity to his interactions early on. Along with slowly learning the foreign Chinese language that MC speaks and whatever misunderstandings that develop from that.

This story goes places. Every arc is very destict almost to the point of being remenicent of quick transmigration novels.

The first arc comes off as a wilderness survival story.

Following that there is

the returning to society with the typical Chinese internet gossip and slandering scandals and the inevitable 'face-slapping' in polite society

This is more of a fluffy story than yaoi so it's actually got plenty of cute interactions between the MC and the ML. The MC isn't the shy type at all so although things go down between the two, there really isn't much blushing (was there any?)

It's cute but the story's not that deep, so if you like that this is for your.

This is just a fun and silly little story. Very lighthearted and fluffy. The plot is also something you shouldn't take too seriously. Definitely not something you pick up if you're looking for a solid plot and great characterization but if you just want something quick and fun to pass the time, this is for you. I enjoyed my time while reading this but unfortunately, this is something that I would quickly forget. This is a kind of story that nothing sticks out, but I don't regret picking this... more>> up. <<less
