Super fun and light read. Lots of funny scenes. The MC is cute and loveable. I like how he’s determined and would keep trying even if he’s scared shitless. His progress is enjoyable to read. Just that, spiritual power is OP in this (they could do a lot of various things and probably has no limit to what an individual could do lol). If you want action you might be disappointed but if you just want to read about the cute interaction of the MC and the ML, this is... more>> already good. Some of the side character stories are okay. <<less

Maybe some of you would find the start of the series a bit slow or boring or uh-huh cute but that's it. But I'll suggest you to just keep going! Because this novel keep getting better and better and going to shake you with excitement of the their many Epic Unique Cute Adorable Hilarious moments!!!

I'm not joking. It's Full of Fluff but also very Funny! It definitely has many moments where I would laugh or gasp with the "I did not expect that!" thought.

And then the Characters. MC is Adorable!... more>> Only naive because his knowledge and others' knowledge of the world were different. But he's also intelligence because his Cultivate and Spiritual Power, so he learn a lot of things he WANT to learn! He's not perfect and he admit his flaws and even annoyed by his own flaws (it mentioned many times) but also not ashamed to admit it. He's a hard worker even when he also like easy lazy simple life. He's not shy and have no problem being narcissistic because he's confident and proud AND HONEST! He's not perfect but he's perfect the way he is!

ML is also Absolutely Wonderful character! He's definitely not perfect but absolutely Lovable character. Patient, Understanding, Doting, Strong, and Adorkable.

Even with lots of unexpected moments, the flow of the story is really Great! It didn't leave plot hole. Everything makes sense.

Ans I really really enjoyed the Public Opinion/Social Media moments!

I really Love this Epic Journey! I didn't expect I would Love this novel this much!!! Truly Epic. <<less

The translation was great, clear and concise, I didnt notice any mistakes or small errors so it doesnt even feel like MTL so thank you LADA! Youre awesome.

The MC Hamster Shu Shu stays in character the whole novel so imagine a pet hamster just wishin for a chill life, just want some good food and good company at night, so this novel is pretty chill from start to end.

The world building wasn't fully developed and you feel like each chapter a new information might randomly pop up, dont be alarmed... more>> its gonna be smooth sailing. Side characters are gonna be there.

So in short its a cracky novel, dont take anything seriously and youll might enjoy it cause the cuteness didnt won me over but still cute fluff. <<less

Its ok. MC isn't really special besides his abilities. I mean, I guess he was cute in the beginning but it got boring later on. I felt like some of the side stories were more interesting than the main story to be completely honest. The only reason I read till the end was probably for the sake of just being able to say I completed the novel (I dislike leaving anything unfinished).

Overall I'd say that this is a great novel for killing time. I noticed that this novel took me... more>> a lot longer to read because I would only pick it up when I'm extremely bored. At the same time I was hoping to be done with the novel already because halfway through it felt like nothing was really happening. Now that I'm done reading, I honestly feel like I accomplished something lmfao but also I'm glad I read till the end because of the side stories.

Anyways, I feel like this novel was more good than bad. Good because it has a pretty sweet storyline and great side stories. Bad because it feels dragged on (especially the later half) and also has a somewhat boring MC. I would recommend reading, however, only for those that can tolerate novels that feel longer than they actually are/ should be. <<less

This really was a good and interesting read.I'm not a big fan of novels which only have fluff to offer but this novel's fluff? I'll stuff my face with it anytime, anyday!

I'm actually glad that ShuShu our MC was a hamster not a previous human so the actions he took rather than being called naive/s*upid were just adorbs!!! He had no scruples about being kept since he was a hamster but he still had conscience to pay back favours.I loved how even though he was scared to death he still... more>> helped Edgar because he was the 'nice person' and thats also how Edgar fell for him too. Can I mention how much I love his narcissistic personality? I would always grin when he acted like that. He was simple, innocent yet witty and competitive and thats why he mastered etiquette and medical knowledge. If he ever felt inferior, he worked hard to be better and perfect. He was open with his affection too. Ultimately, becoming popular and loved by all! Seriously I loved him through out the novel!

Edgar our ML was ofc as mentioned by others was a wife s*ave.I think he's more of a wife s*ave than all the other MLs i've read. If ShuShu called a dog a cat, Edgar will unhesitatingly call it a cat too! And I actually loved it! He was not overbearing at all. Never fought with or forced ShuShu. He was totally respectful of ShuShu like whatever ShuShu says goes! He was loyal af! Affectionate af! Like 10/10 I wish I could get a man like this too.I was actually tired of just seeing Marshal MLs in interstellar genre so a crown prince was a breath of fresh air.

The plot was fluff fluff and fluff as I mentioned but surprisingly it was not nonsensical fluff rather it was so interesting to see the life in the wild and then How ShuShu and Edgar became a couple with ShuShu's interesting antics and him striving to be the very best! It was so cute to see their children and their cute and clumsy interactions! Tho it wasn't thrilling enough to make me hyped but I still binged it because it was interesting and cute (making me feel very happy)

There's no detailed H-scenes/smut but the novel clearly mentioned that they did it and a bit of how it went and after effects. It wasn't like they fell on bed and now its the morning. So I was satisfied!

The Extras of ShuShu and Edgar were extremely cute! The extra about Fred was ok but the extras about Gary were really too long and many with so much drama (face slapping) I would have still preferred cute fluff. But still the last extra of ShuShu and Edgar spending their vacation lifted up my spirits.I love love this couple!

Sweet, so sweet that I may visit the dentist for a check up... but if he forbids me reading this types of novels... then I shall NOT obey.^^ If I were to say something negative is... that it is SHORT!!! Too short and so much space for continuation that makes me cry T-T. It is slow at the beginning, made me cringe sometimes in the middle but happy that there are not unreasonable plots + drama, only the necessary but again it was short. As you may have noticed, I... more>> consider it short... but objectively this novel is the type that you may consider sweet + sweet without ups and downs (at least big ones) and it may come across the MC has the answer for others but he himself was not of much help for himself.

The lonely hamster had a dream to become a human and live in the comfort of modern society only to be transported to another world, another place and even completely different universe? But even then, his simple mind did not go away (it can be considered his second nature) that it could be considered both attractive or annoying but for me it's attractive because sometimes simple things are the answer (much to my regret, sometimes...).

One of the best slice of life bl novel for me. The name suit the novel so perfectly.

Love the story, the Funny and Fluffy Moments and the interaction between MC and ML.

This is my 2nd novel of this author (1st is SAHRJ) and I really love how author doesn't make uke's like the usual one who get shy doing intimate things. I love how uke's too take more action to be intimate.

Well, shu shu is the best. He's so adorable. Love his Dorkiness and narcissism. I can't get... more>> enough of it.

I really like how the Author kept his animalistic nature (being scared of snakes) till late, even being afraid of his own children and then let it slowly recover. Well, this kind of things are better if shown in slow progress as it really is not easy to overcome ones Fear

This is the first time I have been fully satisfied reading a bl novel (except for s*x scene part.... can't help it). We got pretty much every Other couple story too and main couple kids love story. Now where can you find a novel like this (even giving us kids love story). well, I would have love it more if Author gave us a bit more of lion couple story, especially after they left that planet. Although for some people it might be like dragging chapters But for me, I loved it.

The only thing I feel a bit unsatisfied is that we never got to know the origin of the red bead inside Shu Shu. I really wanted to know but then again if it really comes out then who knows this novel might not remain Slice of life genre anymore. <<less

Its a absolute good read. I hadn't read it for a long time although it was in my reading list with good reviews. Kinda regret it.

I didn't like it at first cause the MC is a hamster! I don't want animal romance! I want beastmen romance! (Yah I thought its animal romance)

Its light read with absolute fluffy moments and MC's former useless (kind of) tendencies are completely justified. It didn't felt irritating at all

I gave 4 stars cause though its good but still felt a little dragged. Not much... more>> filler chapters but chapters are dragged. <<less

One of the best chinese BL novels I've ever read. Like the chinese culture about cultivation was presented in a way that is easy to understand and the interactions between characters are very reasonable and understandable that you cannot find any fault as to how they act. One example was when at the beginning we see the ML acting protectively and loving towards our MC even though he does not know him and when we don't understand the reasoning behind this we'll think that this was because of a cliche... more>> love at first sight so their is not much time to u know cultivate and relate about the ML's feelings because he already fallen in love without a reason. But as we go through the story it actually explained that it was normal for the ML to act like that towards the MC cause of instinct (it is set in an era where humans have animals characteristics and the string protects the weak) and we began to appreciate the not so quick and also not so slow burn romance that happened between them because we were actually given time to see the progress of their relationship and how they fall in love. Hahaahha dats just my opinion thou

You have a hamster & a snake... surely that's not as bad as a plant elf & a dragon (if you know you know :))

Mediocre story at its best, but still pretty enjoyable. The main couple's interactions were funny & cute. A lot of pampering & teasing usually floats my boat & this check-marked my criteria. Even the extra chaps were incredibly cute (I really liked the youngest's story). If you like furry creatures & a fluffy couple, this can be a pretty worthwhile read!

Love the story of how the MC developed his feelings for the ML. ❤️ Love the face-slapping especially the last few chapters of the story (written in the spoiler).

My favorite part is the story of the little prince, the youngest son of Shushu and Edgar because the entire planet doesn't know that he has the characteristics of a sub beastman and he is a little prince, they thought he is a beastman. The little prince had a boyfriend but his bf's family doesn't like him. Then, a third party came and ruined their relationship. That's when the entire planet knew that the little prince is Shushu and Edgar's child. Love the face slapping in this part.

Loved every single moment of reading... so sad the journey ended, but I feel I was given closure with the extras. It was wonderful 😭😭

Gonna miss the characters and the development, so glad I read it.

I appreciated the consistency of mc's lack of knowledge in a lot of areas which makes him not a total perfect fit in every situation. The cute moments were of course enjoyable and not everyone was a cannon fodder, which was nice too. However there were a lot of chapters that contained too much details of things that weren't needed and 99% of the chapter titles were SUPER spoilers. If I wasn't still invested in reading I would've been contented with just looking at the table of contents and be done with it.

Shu Shu is a little hamster that learned how to cultivate to become human... unfortunately something went wrong and he didn't completly finish his turn and somehow landet in a strange forest. Deciding that he can not meet humans while having hamster ears and a tail, he just nested in that forest to cultivate, since it seemed to be rather safe there.

Unbeknownst by the little hamster he was already watched and safeguardet by a big snake that realy wanted to take a bite of this cutie.

Edgar is the crown prince of the beast emprie and just escaped and ambush. To survive he had to explode his beast core. For beast men this means he will never be able to turn into a human again and will sucumb to his beastly nature someday. Deciding to do a last good dead he keeps that cute little sub-beast man safe and will bring him to the next settlement as soon his injuries are healed. Sadly its rather hard to get near that little hamster that seems to be deadly afraid of the snake....

My Opinion:

I realy love that story... so cute. No overly drama. Fluffy. Though it keeps you imeresed in the story.

Don't make the mistake thinking the whole book palays out in that forest. It's just the starting point. ShuShu decides rather fast to teach the snake cultivation, so he doesnt need to fear the snake anymore.

ShuShu isn't s*upid, he is just untaught and has to muddle through. But thanks to his golden finger he is advancing fast.

I love the flow between MC/ML. They do know their onw faults and accept their partners fully. There are no overly dramatic misconceptions and misunterstandings cause MC and ML communicate well and are booth straigt forward. I realy like that.

To the person who read 15 chapters and decidet that the MC is s*upid and timid: He is a hamster that lived 200 years, there were countles snakes trying to eat him... of course he is afraid of snakes. Please try to learn reading forshadowing and you would know that the MC is a weak-to-strong charkter.

I highly recomend this read. It's a feel-good read. <<less

I really recommend this story if you are looking for something cute and light hearted. Eventually things get intense, but MC and ML face it together as an adorable strong couple.
