Sweet, wholesome relationship development, not really any toxic elements about the relationship between the MC and ML, and the plot moves at a good pace. The MC is a bit naïve, but it's because he's been put in a completely new culture without any guidance, so it's understandable. This is a good story to read if you're just looking for some fluff to pass the time. 5/5

The first half of the novel is undoubtedly 5 stars, but then the later half was very inconsistent, with only a few beautiful scenes accompanied majorly by bland and rushed ones. The overall plot was too convoluted and plot-hole filled but I'd say the highlight of the story is the characters. I wish the cute descriptions were less, most of the scenes I felt were cute were ones when cuteness wasn't blatantly force-fed and was natural, such as the MC being courageous for the sake of the ML even though... more>> he is a coward, and the ML protecting his husband when others scared him. <<less

This story wow..

Animals? Cultivation? Royalty? Futureristic? Mechas? Mpreg? Waaa..??

But I loved it!!! I was invested!! Shu shu is really adorable, and if anyone says he is naive and bossy come find me! (Joking), he was a true blue hamster from birth.. Please remember that..

I was transported to so many different settings, and immersed in the story between MC & ML

One of the MPREG tags that I would totally recommend! Currently, I'm still a newbie to mpreg and omegaverse related BL novels like this so this review may seem unreliable LMAO

The plot, setting, and the characters are all well-written and described that their own characters are really funny and entertaining to read other than the main couple themselves.

The MC and ML were my most favorite and the fluff did not disappoint me. The emotions and the cuteness in this novel is really overloaded and inspired me to read more chapters.

Moreover,... more>> it was just so funny and ironic that hamsters and snakes could be a family and even even birth to little snakes and hamsters although having a prey-predator relationship (it was said in the title so....) And also, I really liked the face-slapping revenge of the characters here as well as the barrage comments of netizens in the chapters.

Full of cuteness and fluff. Definitely worth reading! <<less

Omw, I absolutely adored this book. I loved how it showed gradual change of feelings and overcoming your own shortcomings. I loved all of the characters but it also breaks my heart whenever I am made aware of the passing of time and changing of seasons in novels, like my heart aches with nostalgia.

There is always a twist, not a single moment of respite. When one dangerous situation is resolved, another immediately arises. 😰

I am recommending this to every fluff lover, and of course everyone can try giving it a go.

Plot development is really good. MC is silly and cute and ML is so sweet omg. I loved all the pair in this novel, Face-slapping is too good.

ML is really very considerate bringing MC food and protecting him in wild. MC is so silly and cute and ML goes along entertaining him. I give story a 5 star and translation 5 star Kept me engaged from start🥰

5 stars for the main story, but 3 for the bonus arc, because contrary to the main plot, it felt too much like a Chinese face-slapping story, dragging too much and making you feel frustrated. Thankfully the main story was fun and the plot was a bit unpredictable

This story is about a romance between snake and a hamster. The plot is just suitable for the world setting since there isn't much drama and would not give you a feeling of angst. The interaction of the main character and the male lead is very fluffy.

I loved so much this novel!! I started reading two days ago and I've already read all chapters available. It's fuffly, lovely, and altought it's a kind of ABO this novel doesn't have a society opressive for the sub-beastman and even accept relationships between beastman x beastman and sub-beastman x sub-beastman. There is obviously reference a s*x but isn't descriptive what I personaly prefer because when we have smut tag normally there is so much s*x scene and to little description of slice of life. Another great addition to the fluffy BL genre set within the Beastmen world. Recommended for all lovers of cute and lighthearted novels, without angst and drama. Very similar to "Number one lazy merchant of the beast world".

Highly recommended!!

The characters are lovable, and consistent with their nature. It was a light read but the world building and character development were well written. Full of fluff and quite refreshing.

I'm happy that I read this cause my initial impression is that, it's instalove which I don't like so I was always putting it off. But after reading this far, it's just a protective natural feeling of ML being a beast to a sub beast that develops to love. ❤❤

Don't get me wrong, I'm quite fond of ML but his behaviour towards his friend, Calvin is kinda unacceptable to me. It's shown that Calvin has been a good friend to ML since they were young but an incident where Calvin's mother betrayed the royal family happened and this incident could harm MC. At the time, MC was pregnant while Calvin was in the prison. It's understandable that as a husband, ML would wanna be with MC, however, can't he at least spend a little bit of time to clear Calvin's name? Instead ML just rejoiced on his baby after he got Calvin out of the prison without conversing with him whatsoever. Is his relationship with Calvin that shallow? Wasn't Calvin the closest friend to him?

Well, ML's friendship is actually better than most ML in BL novels so I just brush off this bit even though I'm still dissatisfied. I would rate it a 4.5 but I'll just give a 5. <<less
