This story did it’s job well in regards to sticking to the Slice of Life genre; no political intrigue, no martial arts nor cultivating activities and no roller coaster-like events. The side characters were plenty, active and weren’t just there to make the Main CP shine brilliantly (bcz friendship is magic✨ Lol jk)

Title is misleading since there’s not much farming. The main character Zhong Ziqi takes the gourmet food route to become a wealthy landlord. As for his ML Zhao Zheng’an their relationship is warm and fluffy before and after his recovery.

When Zhong Ziqi gets stuck with his “foolish husband” Zhao Zheng’an, Zhong Ziqi cares for and protects him especially from name calling I like how he doesn’t just allow people to keep calling him a fool. After the stereotypical bump on the head semi heals Zhao Zheng’an only then do the MC and ML accept each other as a couple. While both sides have tr*shy families, at least Zhong Ziqi’s newly reunited family turns out to be kind and caring to both of them. I like how there were no dramatic hidden backgrounds both characters just built up their business to the point where Zhong Ziqi got to live his life in leisure with his happy family.

The story is good. Slice of life with some fluff, no angst. Other reviews are right, the title should really be changed since there was only very little farming and most of the plot revolved around the MC and ML doing business.

I don't really like the ML.

I don't find him cute or adorable. I don't understand how the MC fell in love with the ML; he didn't do anything particularly romantic. I think the MC can do much better than him.

The plot is, once again, okay but nothing memorable or outstanding. It's just the MC getting richer through his cooking.

I've read over half the story and I don't think it's worth it to finish the rest.

This is very Enjoyable Slice of Life Transmigrated into Ancient Time novel.

But so far I have read this novel until this chapter (64), they don't do Farming. The Farming they did only mentioned, and it was only Once! They mostly immediately do Business; MC cooks and then selling them.

This kind of novel is nothing unusual, like many Danmei Transmigrated into Ancient Time novel, it's still very Enjoyable. So far, nothing big or spectacular happen, except about ML's condition.

Finally have the mood to continue read this novel. And I'm pretty pleased with it! Since I continue the rest of the story, there's no more Dramatic moment our main CP or any side characters have to endure. All the Side CPs get their Satisfying Ending! And the Maternal Family of MC finally met him and now they're Whole and Happy!!! I'm Absolutely Pleased with the Ending! Thank God! <<less

This time, MC is the ger being married off to a fool, and while they live their married life, his husband is still sick and slow in the brain. I was being skeptical that no way the author would let ML be like that and it's true lol

The relationships between MC ML and their neighbors/friends are also not exagerated, and flowed in a slow normal step. They help him selling food, then they help each other with the store.

It was a nice story... though I have to admit that I'm a bit disappointed in the lack of farming... I have really bad luck, this is my third novel with farming in the name but it barely has any...

But overall it was nice, both main leads were likable... and the secondary characters were interesting....

No farming at all, more to business and yes, no golden finger, no suddenly found ginseng and get rich, no super OP ML with outstanding background, no super pretty MC that everyone will just fall in love with him.

MC transmigrate and the only thing helps him is being good at cooking. And no too much of family drama, and no low IQ villain.

There is no farming and even the fool is gone at chapter 33. I dislike how fast paced this story is and that there are no women at all. It feels strange. MC and ML are ok but I can not really understand how they fell in love.

The story has holes and things not really explained but it is also an ok story you can read when bored. It's like the cheap version of other farming stories with less detail.

Recommend to turn off your brain when reading this novel. Very cliche, MC uses modern day cooking/food knowledge to earn a fortune, people think that MC is eccentric, MC discovered he has rich relatives. Dropped the novel before MC recognised his rich relatives.

Also, if you’ve read Quickly Wear the Face of the Devil 5th arc, you’ll probably notice some absurdity in the plot.
