It's not as bad as some reviews that gave only 1 star. MC has strong and positive mindset, he has never abandonned himself even when he was in captivity. I only wonder if a 6yo could be already that mature in real life... then his parents did really an excellent job in those early 6 years! It's conceivable that he readapted to normal life real fast because his mind had always been ready looking forward to his freedom. And with full support and love from ML, it's even more conceivable.... more>> I really enjoy reading this positive novel. <<less

The book was good, but I can't help but feel that it was a waste. You can tell that the author's thinking is a bit too immature, which causes the story to lack adequate depth. I think that this story had the potential to be truly brilliant were it not for the emotional inadequacy.

It's unfortunate, but still, it is worth reading.

Sweet couple, but world building and characters were not fleshed out. It is a very simple story, super light. High school level writing skills kind of feeling.

Also I came for the Mpreg, but that only happened in the last paragraph of the final chapter. So, yeah... I felt cheated.

Another little frustration was that the couple very early on sort of confessed to eachother repeatedly (in a cryptic or soft wording), but after that they kept dancing around eachother and didn't address the soft confessions nor really took action. Oh wow I can't believe the low rating. Why people why?!!!!

This is sooooo sweet and pure. My only complaint is that it's very short!!!!! I hope there was more 😭😭😭

Anyways I enjoyed it a lot. Short but sweet and pure. If you are into that like me then you should give it a try 😍

This novel is actually completely my taste. There isn't any over the top events and mc's past explains alot of his actions. Some mc's are too weak while MC had a complete reason for his actions. This was a stable novel and wasn't to long. There was plot but the whole novel wasn't a roller coaster it was more of trip with a few ups and downs but it was still loving. I mtl'd this but didn't get to read the extras. I'm going to cry~ I really want to... more>> know what happened to the little gr*pe. :' (And I'm sure it's in the extras! The past does play a key role and I'm just going to wait till the day I get to read the extras. <<less

As a victim, the perspective used as the MC's character setting is positive. There are many types of mentality after an incident, and the after effects can also be the defense mechanism of not thinking about it or forgetting what so ever.

Atleast he moved on from everything that has happened, maybe this is just a representation of what others want to have after experiencing shts in life.

I read the mtl bec I can't wait for the story to be translated completely.. (⌒_⌒;) I enjoyed reading this story. (≧∇≦) / Sooo muuuch fluff, fluff and fluff bet MC and ML. (♥ω♥*) There are twins and turns that made the story more interesting.. And lastly, there are the kawaii children of the MC and ML. (●♡∀♡) Ps. I just hoped there are more extras. (#^.^#)

Wait guysssss! No matter how other people review this, I think the plot doesn't have thatbig of a problem. I quited enjoy it and the translators had done a good job of bringing the emotion of the stories.

Of courses the story itself is not perfect, like, how could the MC as a victim recover so fast? But but but! Considering the novel itself only has like, what? Around 50 chapters? It's quite a good pacing filled with sweetness. I personally do not wish to read too much about "psychology class"... more>> when reading a novel. Anyway, the author give quite a good reason for his "quick mental recovery":

The story has some immersive parts and some boring parts. It wasn't particularly realistic especially MC's smooth modeling career, but oh well.

Something I don't like about Chinese novels:

MC is an omega raised like a s*ave with others to be sold as s*x toy for some who would buy him. But during transport he was able to get away when their aircraft failed and they were rescued by a big luxury aircraft. MC took the opportunity to flee and bumped into a powerfull man (with calming pheromones) and begged him for help. That man immediately helped him.

From ML's point of few.

He found him! He was searching for him for so many years only to meet him by a lucky coincidence. He aked him to come home and live with with him. MC hesitantly agreed, because of the body alteration done by the s*ave traders his estrus is a complete mess and is very frequent.

ML patiently helps him calm down, makes him feel save and spoils him. (They met in the past, but MC doesn't remember because his memorys have been altered. MC is part of a race that is discriminated against and known for working in the red light district).

We watch as they grow closer, get to know each other, feel desire and reliance, strong self control, trust, patience, strong ML, child mentality + growth, clever MC.

I've almost finished all the author's stories on NU 🥺

and it's consistent!!! The author is really a genius at presenting stories that are over sweet but still very solid...

I think this might be the author's first story that she wrote, because this story is really not that perfect compared to the author's other stories. As if I can see that the author has a distinctive character in writing but in this novel the author has obvious flaws...

This novel has a great chance of becoming a novel with many minefields. It... more>> is full of annoying characters full of drama. But like the others, the author is a genius at doing face slaps, and it's always done very quickly, like at the beginning of the chapter, I was really wary, because I hate drama-filled annoying characters, but the author solved it in no time and very very sweet!!!

and this is probably the sweetest extra of all the author's novels... Very light, very fluffy, very fun 🫶

Cute, fluffy, with a dash of tragic backstory.

A short love story in the omegaverse.

It’s a good read to occupy some down time, no need to worry about it being too complicated that your lunch break turns into more work, nor is it too simplistic that you risk falling asleep. Maybe the only thing you might have to watch out for is the occasional tears if you get to emotional over the sad or happy bits.

It’s a good read (somehow cliche but I like how communicative they both are with each other

I read other reviews saying how unreasonable it is that MC went with ML, ML “abducted” MC...

But really, it’s foreshadowing of how MC and ML actually knows each other before. MC also went with ML because he knows that even if it’s a weird situation, it’s the best choice he has (the reasonings are very reasonable)

this is seriously the cutest, the MC and ML are super duper sweet together. The MC is strong and never gave up on himself even though he was locked up for 16 years. The ML is a role model for all ML's, he never stopped searching for the MC even after 10 years and never let anyone in his heart beside the MC. The MC is a cutie in front of the ML. Nice fluffy read.

I don't get the Low Rating.

It was truly a Well Written Novel. Lovable MC who is Soft and Sweet when around ML and people who are good to him. But far from pushover toward bad or annoying people. I love his Determination and Strength. His mental strength is Great!

It's definitely not OOC or Mary Sue like. He just won't let people define who he is based on his Clan. And with ML's Support, his mental strength definitely Thick as Steel.

But he's still Soft and Sweet one too. I'm Fond of... more>> him!

The ML is also GREAT! He's not Overly Intimate with him nor try to make Unnecessary Drama whatsober.

He's Patient and know when to Protect. Our ML was Really Great one!

Don't fear, this is truly a Heartwarming novel with no Sudden Knife whatsoever.

Despite the big lack of common sense and how a lot of aspect in this novel is not well developed, i have to say, the romance is really well written compared to many others in the similar genre. I'm honestly surprised by how much depth this story actually have despite all the drawbacks it has.

If you're the type to be able to look past a lot of logic, then I highly recommend you to give this novel a try. I have throughly enjoyed the relationship between MC and ML with... more>> how the author has written them.

Both the MC and ML are respectful of each other, the feeling between them is very tender and filled with care and affection. To me, their relationship really felt refreshing to read and hits just the right spots.

While I do think the story could have been developed so so so much better, I think the author has definitely done the romance well here. Definitely did not regret that I looked past the rating.

I came reading with the expectation of "mindless plain fluff read" but I was greeted with a lot more than that. <<less

I think I had an okay time getting through this story because I took a break halfway and forgot about a lot of the human trafficking stuff. I think the fluff is pretty good and I liked most of the characters in the book. However, I felt like it was a pretty long story and there was a lot of handwavy MC is the just best and prettiest person around and also the MC is kind of treated as a child by the ML which I know is trope but... more>> I don't like at all. Started reading the translation then mtl-ed the rest. It's super cute.

In ABO settings there is a concept of destined mates. If read from that point of view then them falling in love so fast makes more sense. The jealousy the MC feels when the ML has a "blind date" is totally mutual and also a staple of ABO settings. Also, a lot of the things that seem sketchy in the begining get cleared up around chapter 30ish.

Considering the subject matter this could have gotten really dark really quickly. I like... more>> that the author approached this lightly. No matter how dark things could have been the MC always has faith and hope. It's quite beautiful and lovely to read. <<less

I'm not sure yet since this novel is currently updating but so far so good. (Despite the earlier chapters) everything was just acceptable and reasonable (how characters act base on their own experience in their past) the MC was just too cute! The ML however is really mysterious. For now I'm giving it a five star (☆▽☆) continue on your good work! Thank you for translating!!!
