I liked how the author wrote the ML when the MC "died". TBH if he broke down and immediately thought that he was in love with him I would have thrown my phone away. ML's reaction (aside from the denial) was quite realistic in how he missed the guy (i mean they lived together for 5 years and he's so used to the MC being there all the time) and later on felt guilty that they were together for so long but he never actually thought of proposing. I never ever thought that the ML really truly loved MC. He was just guilty. The last words he told MC over the phone was 'don't come back' and the guilt, even if you hated that person, would be immense.

Another point where I thought the ML really didn't love the MC when the "new MC" came. He didn't even try to search and investigate if the new MC was actually the old MC. He just saw that they looked the same and started courting the MC. I'm not a psychologist, but this just screams guilty to me.

but you will feel slightly bad for him that is until he he meets MC again, who I thought was an amnesiac but apparently not, you know what he did? He keeps harassing him when it's obvious he doesn't seem to know him

(which he actually does but ML doesn't know that)

like what if the the actor isn't the MC then he's basically doing the same thing he did with MC replacing him with someone who looked similar to him

I also kinda hate the MC, one he remembers but won't admit it to his brother in law like the dude is seriously depressed with your death and you can't even contact him when you made it out alive?! Like seriously you could have just never talk to he yang and let him think your dead your brother in law could have helped you fake your death much easier

I thought the ML was going to have some diagnosis by the psychiatrist such as Alexithymia, since he doesn't process emotions correctly or that he was raised as a pampered above everyone else 2nd gen who learns the errors of his ways and at least grovels. Nope he is just a jerk who the author gave a negative EQ

instead they both just silently suffer, MC in the first half and ML in the second. The 2 were just like "Who cares about communication?!" I mean I get to have a story there needs to be some misunderstandings but this story is all a misunderstanding. Chapter 85 is when the 3 month agreement is over, and then I'm assuming more of the same drama because they don't get married until way later, this is not a 194 chapters worth of story.

also WTH MC, you let the poor cousin think you're dead then string him along as the actor. You didn't even have temporary amnesia which could have forgiven a bit, no he is just selfish through the whole novel. I mean he steals someone else's identity and tries to pass it off as noble, to keep the grandma/grandpa? happy

Both sides are too stubborn. I was rooting for MC for half the book then ML later. The clincher for me to feel sad for ML was when he keep asking every April fools day, MC's supposed death, if MC is back and then remembering that he's dead. for the past year he function as if MC is alive by seeing how he never touch anything regarding MC. He was also waiting for him. This shows that he has some psychological problem. And I was glad he asked for help. When his mother died he also shows the same attitude, he did not cry nor ask for his mother, he did not even look at his mother's photobook. But he patronizes things related to his mother, the fashion brand, the supposed whitemoonlight, who were favored by his mother.

For MC, I am glad he stood his ground... barely, because he easily succumbs to ML in a few chapters. He claims to be over him but gets into cat fights with the white moonlight. (But at least tell us why ML could just stay quiet while his friends belittle MC!). Then when you think we are heading to the ending MC would suddenly ran away and think of some excuse why he can't be together with ML yet at the same time having s*xual relationships with him (this was the part I started feeling sorry for ML and rooting for him. MC clearly still has feelings for ML but he keeps on trying to finds for an excuse to reject him whilst not letting him go completely. Come on! make up your mind!

he sought help from a psychologist, accepted that MC is dead, he finally dropped his friends. cater to MCs whims and waited for MC to give their relationship a label

He finally had the guts to leave ML but he can't even stand his ground. In less than a few months of meeting with ML they stumbled on the bed. He claims to be over ML but get into cat fight with the whitemoonlight. Doesn't want to have relationship with ML but still accompanies him, have dates and sx with him. He keeps on pushing ML away then pulling him back, through out the rest of the story after the misunderstandings are revealed. Also he is a case of hearing ML has white moonlight then he follows whitemoonlight's likes and when ML have no idea about his real preferences he gets bitter. I mean why would you wonder? you acted like the whitemoonlight yourself now you're angry when ML doesn't know your preference why you didn't try showing a piece of you to him.

I kind of wish the ML full blackmailed the MC first based of the MC's situation after he became Qin Zhou (like he could even threaten him and completely cancel him so that, MC would have no choice but to listen to him) and can make his regret arc after his grandma passed away. It would be much more satisfying, rather than half help him, half forced him. I just het annoyed by it lol

The MC changed his identity and got into showbiz. He doesnt have enough resources to cover all his track but, miraculously HE DID! (This part is already a no no for me, not realistic)

but NAH, our MC is not smart enough. My guess was right that he didnt even covered his tracks that carefully because the ml's pyschiatrist found out all about him in just one investigation.

Unlike this novel. I kind of hate Qin Zhou, because in my oppinion his feelings weren’t expressed properly. He Yang also the typical billionaire jerk who become the perfect husband material after magical enlightment. His sole desire become just to serve Qin Zhou. And then for for around 30 chapters we have: “I don’t want to fall in love.” and “Who cares, just use me howewer you want.” It just felt frustrating and forced.

A petpeeve I have is that the ML has pretty significant boundary issues. Like kissing him even when the MC says no, not using a cond*m, being irrationally jealous bla bla bla.
