he told her that she never loved him in the beginning because later he found out the difference between fake and true love was really romantic

first the way they treat women as a whole. Raging from forced marriage to literal live sacrifice. It felt like if they wore collars and ate on the floor nobody would think it strange. Why put something like the One Heart contract? To further humiliate women? It doesn't add anything to the story.

Second, it has a cultivation setting but it doesn't matter. It's only mentioned to highlight that the ML is always a few levels above everyone and why he wins in the end. If it was a simple fantasy setting it would be the same, if you're looking for a detailed and rich cultivation background, look elsewhere.

And it leaves in the air questions as to why and when the underworld demons appeared there, the beginning of the realm and why it became an eternal war. The only explanation they kinda give is "aliens" 👽. Like, what? And the underworld demon King, he was chilling 500 years and suddenly decided to appear in the last battle because reasons? And the beasts they use like mounts, it's said somewhere that they have the intelligence of an 8 year old. That's pretty intelligent. They wouldn't act as simple donkeys, author, have you talked to an 8-year-old? They can debate the meaning of life with you.

And other small things like the "sickness" of the ML, the way the FL is so chill even with countless people dying in battle or being tortured in front of her. The way one character who idolised his brother got duped for half a book and when they tell him that his brother and nephew were actually killed by the ML and he was deceived he only goes "Oh, well. Then we're even. Stop by for some tea sometime" uh.

Dunno, overall entertaining read, but you have to lower your logic and common sense by 3 points at least.

To save her life, MC pretended to like ML. She followed ML to escape from her husband. Later, she was able to obtain a divorce. MC and ML eventually started really liking each other and blinded the eyes of everyone with their love.

ML was the son of the female emperor. He was from the Arcane clan (they have the power to save a life by giving up their own, which also passes along their cultivation) and the Enchanter clan (they can bewitch people). His mother had blackmailed his dad with ML's life. So his dad gave up his life and cultivation to her. Then ML was forced to sacrifice his life to save the real You Wuming. However, ML took over the body instead. That's why he wants to kill the emperor.

MC did not transmigrate into the body. She actually returned to her original body. Her soul was pushed out of her body six years ago during her coming of age ceremony.

The Temple of Heaven was conspiring behind the scenes to change the future. They thought the world would end and that MC needed to die to keep that from happening. This is why they pushed out her soul and intended for her to die once she came back 6 years later.

The soul inside of the female emperor is not ML's mom's. Her soul was forced out and the replacement was the one who killed ML's dad. ML's mom really did loved ML's dad.

The conspiracy was started 500 years ago by Emperor Yun to change the future that was shown to him by a divine mirror. It showed that Emperor Yun was killed by his descendant. This came true when Emperor Yun was taken down by ML and handed over to the Yun State. The executioner was his descendant.

ML's character got depth and had an anti-hero persona. At first, I thought he's straight-up crazy and "potential" toxic yandere... but he proved me wrong, he actually a decent person (still crazy) and his every move got reasons. He is actually the Mary Sue in this novel (lol) but I find him still very humane bc he still got emotions even got conscience esp to innocence that he unalived to achieve his plans. His violence and thirst for revenge may be severe but he is actually heroic in his own way. He was not 100% good person, but he got bottom line and principles.

She's a popular actress before transmigration and used her skill on acting her way out. She's calm-minded, mature and sensitive to emotions of other characters so she knew what to do. She's also considered as the sheath of the ML who calm him especially during his unstableness and decisions.

-Many might disliked this kind of novel bc some violent scenes were graphical and too many canon fodders being sacrificed for the plot.

- The halo of leads were strong, I felt that they easily solved their circumstances. ML was tooo OP (lol) I was even bored in last parts bc the leads were already powerful and no thrill.

- The ending felt rushed and it made me feel empty due to extra chapters... should have added chapters of main story (future of Cloud realm in ML's reign) instead of parallel timeline plot.
