“Savior” is a redemption-themed dating game.

Players must enter the game to save girls trapped in despair, becoming the light that illuminates their lives.

However… Lu Nan, after playing this game, deliberately chose an ending where he was gruesomely killed right in front of the girl he’d just saved, all because of his twisted sense of humor.

Just as he was about to start his second playthrough, he transmigrated into the game.

And worse still… the heroines retained their memories from the first playthrough.

“Lu Nan, to prevent you from being killed, I eliminated everyone else but you. Are you happy?”

It’s incredibly... mediocre.

There’s no a lot of “do nots” that this novel did, but the accumulation of small plot holes and negatives made the reading experience incredibly mediocre. Also, besides for the allure of the yandere premise, the setting isn’t built in a “fun” way.

First of all, the main character is incredibly apathetic for whatever reason. A tsundere may also be the next closest thing. However, this dude doesn’t relate to anything, and he comes off as one of those edge lord main characters that are like “look at me,... more>> I don’t care about you, haha, but I’ll still do something small, so you don’t betray me.”

Also, another plot design was his first play through, but to 100% complete a game on the first playthrough seems incredibly convenient. Based on how hard the game sounds, that shouldn’t even be possible, so I don’t know why the author said “first” instead of being “last.” It doesn’t sound like a problem, but this gets mentioned so many times, and I’m like “seriously? You knew all that from your first play through?”

To add to that, the heroines are okay. They aren’t horrible, but their characteristics are too similar to be noticeable. On a side note, why are they lolis?

This novel is like an incredibly slow time waster. Perhaps when you pick it up to waste time, you’d want to do something else with your life. <<less
